Incredibly beautiful!! I tried to fly my Mavic there as well, but the wind was so strong so I gave up afraid of it never coming back, lol

MattiaMC 90 we went in late summer (around August) and we spent 1 week traveling between all of the islands!

Those aren’t one-way roads, just one-lane roads. There are passing places spread evenly throughout, so you can let oncoming traffic pass.

the location at 2:40 is a couple miles west of Sørvágur and the location at 3:10 is just south of Miðvágur!

Just watch Mads Peter Iversen RUclips channel. He has a great series on the Faroe Islands and specific locations.
You do not see trees in the Faroe Islands, except Torshavn and some towns maybe.

You have broken just about all the rules of flying a drone in the Faroe Islands. To close to the airport, to close to public roads, flying over settlements. The normal fine is DKK 5.000,- (about 700 EUR).
In general, flying drones in the Faroe Islands is permitted, provided ALL the following conditions are met:
Drones MUST NOT be flown within 150 metres of a village, town or city or within 150 metres of main roads that connect villages
Drones MUST NOT be flown within a 5-kilometre radius of Vágar Airport
Drones MUST NOT be flown above summerhouses or camping areas, or in places where many people are gathered, e.g. at festivals
Drones MUST NOT be flown above 100 metres from the ground
Drones MUST be insured

How did the Mavic pro do in strong wind conditions on the Faroe Islands?
Darvin Ryckaert I was the guy flying the mavic for the video. Handled surprisingly well, the worst day was about 25-30 mph winds but we lucked out on weather. Most scenes were shot in about 10-15 mph winds and the mavics small gimbal and motors held up very well!

Hi could I ask how your drone footage is processed to get such vibrant and contrasty footage? I have DJI Mavic 2 Pro and my footage is dull and drab!
This footage was edited in iMovie! Using software like that, you can add saturation/contrast, tweak shadows and highlights, etc. More advanced softwares (like Final Cut Pro, which is what I have now) will allow you to edit even more of the footage attributes. Hope this helps!
