- This is a short documentary about the Faroe Islands I created as my capstone project. I filmed this back in August during a week long visit to the Faroes.
Thanks to Shen Ye for providing some of the footage from Mykines Island.
I'm amazed by the stunning presentation of this documentary. It truly takes my breath away.

The killing of more than 1,400 dolphins in the region sparked outrage in 2021. At the time, the chairman of the Faroese Whalers Association told the BBC that while the number of dolphins killed was excessive, it was accidental.
@@ralph_bernhardt Do your homework before accusing them of lying. Experts est. that there a some 800.000 to 1.100.000 pilot whales in the ocean. The faroes take on average 500 a year. So you do the math
Европейцы убивают и едят священных в Индии коров,с их добрым взглядом..европейцы убивают сотни тысяч зайцев,медведей,оленей,уничтожают тоннами рыбу осётр,который нерестится только когда ему 12 лет и то не каждый год...и что?!Не жалко всех этих животных?!
Да,соглашусь,единственное,что фарерцам было бы правильно сделать,так это не выставлять на показ этот праздних.
