THANK YOU!!! I have now visual idea what I am doing. I am guessing the shipping sizes, I am worried that I am not going to be able to afford the shipping on my e-bay items. I have been looking for information and you're the first person who really demonstrated the shipping sizes, weights and costs. Thank you.
The difference is First Class Package/Thick Envelope has to be at LEAST 3/4" thick. So if you send a Pokemon card in a padded envelope add a small wad of paper or a foam peanut. Otherwise they will re-class it as Priority and charge postage due = pissed off customer and negative feedback.
Just an update. I got a huge white door at our Habitat Restore and made me a nice table that's 37 inches off the floor so I don't have to bend over when I work folding and shipping. also for $10 bought a Nice office chair from them that pumps up about 4 foot off the floor, Love it.
The folks at the PO are nice and all but don't know that much about shipping on eBay. If you select First Class on eBay when you go to ship, right below it says "Up to 13 ounces and 84 inches in combined length and girth." So you could send a huge box so long as it's under 13 ounces. I do it all the time.
Here is an issue I have. When I use a 7 x 9 bubble envelope and put 2 items in it that are flat, the PO is telling me that it can't go as an envelope, it has to be mailed as a package which ups the cost to $5.00 versus $1.20. Even if I use a poly bag (no bubbles) and do the same thing, they tell me it is a package because the 2 items inside, though fairly flat are uneven and maybe there is a slight bulge on one side (that you can feel but not see!) To me this is being very nit picking and it increases my postage expenses exponentially. If I mail a $5.99 item in a flat 7 x 9 poly bag, that isn't a bag according to them, it's a PACKAGE so they charge me package rate. I end up paying $4.50 to $5.00 for an ENVELOPE I used to pay $1.20 to mail.I feel like I am being ripped off.
After First Class you would have to go Priority. You can use your bubble mailer or USPS packages (free). I like the flat rate bubble mailer for $5.35 if it needs padding. Or, the flat rate envelope for $4.95 if it does not. Thanks for watching, I need to put up some more.
Case by case. A $150 item that can't be damaged I would not insure. Items over $250 eBay will prompt you for signature confirmation when you print the label. It's needed for seller protection and is a good time to look at insurance if you think it's needed.
So basically, 5-10 pokemon cards, under 3.5oz total, just in an envelope with one stamp, and the address on the envelope? More than that (over 3.5oz, you could do a thick envelope, and just put an extra stamp on there)?
Great explanation! Thank you! Could you please elaborate on the next steps? Ideally, I would like to print my own postage from home like I am currently doing with Priority Mail, but don't know how to start. THANK YOU!!!
I'm trying to ship a watch. The watch comes with the original watch box (3.5x3.5x3.5) and I want to ship that as well. Should I get the 5x5x5 box and bubble wrap everything to make it a tight fit? Should I put it in a big padded envelope? Where do I get boxes/padded envelopes that size?
Thiona Yuen If it's under 13 ounces I like the 5 x box for the protection. If it will be over 13 ounces it will have go Priority. You can get Priority packaging free from USPS. Try the padded flat rate envelope. Other boxes and envelopes I buy on eBay or local.
I'm new at eBay and I'm the seller, should it be better if my costumer calculate there shipping cost because I had to pay 4 dollars out of my pocket. Should I use priority mail the 6x6x7 box or is it expensive
I buy my labels on eBay (UPAKNSHIP) and use Print Shipping Label after the item is paid. My sons and brother use a Dymo label printer I use a regular desktop printer.
If you do a game like that I would take it in at the PO to ship. First Class "Package" is a different rate than standard First Class. You could over pay it with 4/5 stamps and it would probably be OK.
I think on the USPS website that an envelope needs to be no thicker than 3/4", otherwise you must use a box. Not sure if they really care. First class Envelope/Flat Mail: Minimum size: 6 1/8 inches tall or 11 1/2 inches long and 0.007 inches thick Maximum size: 12 inches tall x 15 inches long and 3/4 inches thick Maximum weight: Up to 13 oz. I'd like to know if anyone has had an issue with the 3/4" rule....
I guess I am reading it wrong, because I see it on their website as no thicker than 3/4" as well. I've been wondering about this for awhile and may have to go to the post office for clarification. I purchased boxes for this very reason, which would have been a total waste of money if I'm wrong :(
This video really helped out a lot. If my item can get inside of a standard envelope with stiffener will that be fine by eBay standards, since I don't see an option in the dropdown thing for First Class Standard Envelope.
I have an item I would like to sell that is definitely under 13 ounces. The item is packaged in a small jewelry box that is 1 inch in thickness. I bought a 6 x 9 inch poly bag to place the small jewelry box into and use for shipping. I am unsure whether I can mail this as a first class letter, large envelope, or package? I am unsure because the 6 x 9 inch poly bag and thickness of the 1 inch small jewelry box inside do not fall into any of the minimum maximum thickness sizes? Any advice?
Thanks for that. What if I am selling through Shopify? It looks like I have to specify whether this would be considered first class letter, large envelope, or package.
If I want to send a pair of earrings (about 1/2 in. thick) would I have to send them first class in a flat? Also, do you know about how much that would cost me?
Lets say i stick my item into one of the bubble mailers envelopes and put the labeling on it and everything. Can i just stick it in my mail box or should i have to take it to my post office?
Is there size restrictions that the package needs to be? (thickness) For example, i shipped something very small and flat in a envelope like the one you put the video game it. (A gift card) I was told it needed to be a min. of 3/4 thick so i just threw in some crumbled printer paper to make up for it. I thought it was just the 13oz rule and it ships with first class mail? I usually have no problem because i use flat rate priority mail, but in this case first class cost less
Steven Gonzalez First Class Package is "supposed" to be at least 3/4" thick. Unless it's rigid, meaning non-machinable, write Do Not Bend on it. You might get away with non standard items forever. But, one time a good USPS worker who knows the rules will catch one and add postage due for Priority Mail. Then you have a pissed customer and negative feedback.
What is the cheapest way to mail Cell Phone Flip Cases sold on eBay? Flip cases are about 6.3"x3.5"x0.7", 1.05oz. What envelopes can I uses? I tried asking at post offices, buy they confused me even more. I really hope you can help me.
For the large envelopes, the maximum thickness allowed is 3/4 of an inch, according to the usps website. How do you get them to accept thick packages like that, like the one you showed, which was way over 3/4 inch?
So if I'm sending 2 trading cards in a yellow bubble mailer through ebay, would it be cheaper to just take in the mailer in to the usps store and have them weigh it and such and send it that way, or should I just do the standard first class package through ebay for the $2.60? I dislike sending cards in regular white envelopes as i've had many issues with them being ripped open going through the machines in the past.
This. I will not ship cards in a plain envelope or buy cards if they will be sent in an envelope. The humidity where I live ruins cards and a plain envelope offers NO protection. Double sleeve, top loader in bubble mailer at least.
PC Components Company The cheapest is First Class International but you can't track it. Priority can be tracked and you could use some of the sized packages like Flat Rate Envelope or Small Box but the price goes up a bit. Some use the eBay Global Shipping Program but I think they overcharge the buyer.
Thanks. We learned our lesson about shipping without tracking info... Its too easy for buyers to open a case for non-delivery because they have become impatient... :-( Companies from China are selling product, with free shipping, for less than it costs us to ship to other continents alone. Guess there's no other options (such as Hong Kong Post in reverse?).
when does usps pick up first class mail from home. do you need to have at least one priority mail packake for them to pick them all up or have to take them to post office
For the postages could they be printed on normal paper then taped onto the package? Or would it have to be sticker paper and whatnot? Thanks in advance!
Do you leave your USPS first class mail in front of your home for the mail carrier to pick up or you go to the neighborhood mail box and put your first class mail in ?
Bonamana gee gee baby baby Since I'm in a 3rd floor apartment and my box is downstairs, and I have 2 Post Offices near me so I drop mine off. My brother does pick up at his door.
1) I needed to send a bubble mailer to a friend with a trading card that i did not sell on ebay.. i couldnt find an option to send it first class on usps.com .. if there a way to do that instead of having to actually go to the post office.. i waited on a huge line today and want to avoid this in the future.. i asked the lady at the post office and she didnt have an answer for me.. 2) is it common to send trading cards in a regular envelope or better to send in a bubble mailer? im sure with a regular envelope all you would need is one stamp.. i paid 3 bux to ship it in 4x8 bubble mailer today appreciate your advice in advance. ty
Do you just tape on the address of where you're shipping it or do you just get a label from eBay and tape it on? Also can i just drop it off in a blue mailbox that's near my house lol. I want to sell a game just like you did in that video. I am new to eBay and want to make sure i do everything right.
rob22guy If you use eBay shipping, print the label on plain paper and tape it on, or use self-adhesive labels. You can use any method you want to get it to the USPS.
I am shipping very thin and light phone cases. And it's less than 2 ounces inside the package. USPS charged me $2.54 for mailing From Newyork to Illinois is there a cheaper way?
This video was great! Thanks for sharing! I have a quick question; let's say my item has sold..I print the label and put it on a packaged box to ship. Ok you know how eBay charge a price for the label/shipping will I then have to pay anymore money to ship? Or is that all I pay after I pay for my label and print?
Beautiful That's all you pay. USPS by it's own rules is not supposed to re-check the weight or class of mail. It is accepted as being correctly franked.
Where do I get those bags? Are they free in the post office? Also, if I pack them myself but bring to the usps office to ship, is that more expensive? Thanks a lot.
+completelystupid87 I buy mine on eBay, the only free stuff from USPS is Priority Mail envelopes and boxes. The price you pay on eBay for shipping is "Commercial Rate" so it is lower than going to the PO.
I see in your printer that you have the shipping labels I just went to the mail to send a package I had my pink package like your white one but I didn't have a shipping label because I don't know where or how to get them for first class or do I just write the information on any piece of paper and tape it will it still be first class mail ??? So they put my pink package inside a priority mail package and I payed 5.75 for -3oz. Item
You should use blank stickers, I use 1/2 sheet, and eBay shipping to print your labels. If you are using regular stamps to mail something the address label goes in the lower right of the item.
Aaron S Small thin guides yes. Big fat ones I would use media mail. eBay has a shipping calculator, you can find it in the Shipping Center on the left side.
I am mailing t-shirts and other clothes in a 9 by 12 padded envelope (first class mailing). What demsion would i put for the thickness? Also is there a maxium thickness for first class mailing?
in the package with the video game could you select LETTER option on the USPS website or would you have to select the PACKAGE option? I know there is a sizable price difference based on the section.
When shipping a video game on Ebay with a thick envelope, would I have to weigh the package? Or will it ship as long as it does not pass a certain weight?
Aminahh Mahmoud If you can pack it up under 13 ounces then First Class Mail. Over 13 then Priority Mail. Under 1 pound should go almost anywhere in the US for about $5.50 Priority.
I'm new to selling/shipping on eBay and just found (and subscribe to) your channel! I need to send a cell phone case to HI via USPS first class; what's the best packaging to use? Also, the label that you're printing and it self sticks ... what are those called and where can I find? Thanks!
+SIRKSxFUNK You could, but I wouldn't buy an envelope at the PO, too expensive. Try OfficeMax, Walmart or dollar stores. If you don't have a scale, most video games are around 4-5 ounces add 1 more for the envelope. Six ounces First Class Mail would probably cover it.
Can I just write the address on a box and slap some stamps on it? Will the package be considered First Class Mail by default, or how to I designate First Class Mail?
TomlinsTE It will be First Class but you will over pay a bit. USPS gives us Commercial Pricing through eBay so you get a discount and free tracking. A 10 ounce box using stamps is $3.58, tracking is $1.05 extra but you have to go to the PO to get it. Same item through eBay is $2.93 with tracking. And I can do it in my PJ's.
Can i ship a protein supplement with these specifications: Hx W x D: 4.5" x 4" x 4"Shipping Weight: 0.6lb It weighs about 10 oz, its a cylinder shape case. Do you think it will pass as 1st class priority mail weighing under 13 oz? Thanks man
Mr. etnarc Sir, So I have to go onto PayPal to print the label then I tape it on the package? Then I can just put in it a blue box or drop it off in the post office?
I know this is for first class mail, but can i use that 9 by 6 in envelope for priority shipping? i'm trying to ship some smartphones. thanks in advance!
Can I ship a 10ml plastic bottle of liquid concentrate (flavor concentrate), dimensions of bottle height 3 inch, depth is about 3/4inch, length is 3/4th first class mail flat? Also with the item you used to demonstrate the first class mail part, would that be considered flexible?( item @ 2:00 ) also would that ship for $1.00 the flat rate first class rate?
THANK YOU!!! I have now visual idea what I am doing. I am guessing the shipping sizes, I am worried that I am not going to be able to afford the shipping on my e-bay items. I have been looking for information and you're the first person who really demonstrated the shipping sizes, weights and costs. Thank you.
The best video about shipping items!!! I would like to see another video about priority mail.
Best explanation of first class I've encountered on RUclips. Thanks.
If you print the label on eBay for any service you can request carrier pick up. You can also request daily carrier pick up for up to 90 days.
I get mine from a local company. You can buy them online. Or, if you aren't picky you can "recycle" from the back of local stores.
Thanks for the video! New to eBay / FBA selling, I'll take all the tips I can get!
so I printed the shipping label and I put it on the envelope. do I need to go to the post office just to get the receipt. is there an easier way?
Tracking is automatically uploaded to "My eBay" under shipping labels and your sold record. Plus they notify the buyer.
Correct. Royal Mail is responsible for it until it reaches the US then the USPS will take over and finish the delivery.
Just an update. I got a huge white door at our Habitat Restore and made me a nice table that's 37 inches off the floor so I don't have to bend over when I work folding and shipping. also for $10 bought a Nice office chair from them that pumps up about 4 foot off the floor, Love it.
Correct. They have added insurance as an option. That will help with say a $50 12 ounce valve that might get damaged.
Smart sellers don't buy insurance.
Thank you for this video! Simple, straightforward, and right to the point!👍👍
Love your Desk, White door and 2 by. Seriously it looks good and it's cheap. thanks for the Idea.
Here is an issue I have. Fast (1-day) and easy to use with the envelopes they have. Cheaper than UPS or FedEx on some items, like a magazine size that fits their envelopes.
Sure it would work. But I would use a Small Flat Rate Box, should be about $5.35 anywhere in the US.
Can the box also be dropped off at the mailbox which sits at the sidewalk, so long everything weighs less than 13oz?
Case by case. A $150 item that can't be damaged I would not insure. Items over $250 eBay will prompt you for signature confirmation when you print the label. It's needed for seller protection and is a good time to look at insurance if you think it's needed.
Where can you get those yellow envelopes? post office?
spllitz I buy mine on eBay. You should be able to get them a office supply type stores. But they are way cheaper on eBay.
i can't believe i found a ledgend here
So if the padded envelope is raised with a slightly bulky item it still counts as an envelope and not a package under USPS first class?
So basically, 5-10 pokemon cards, under 3.5oz total, just in an envelope with one stamp, and the address on the envelope?
More than that (over 3.5oz, you could do a thick envelope, and just put an extra stamp on there)?
Great explanation! Thank you! Could you please elaborate on the next steps? Ideally, I would like to print my own postage from home like I am currently doing with Priority Mail, but don't know how to start. THANK YOU!!!
I start working in UPS store and I am really happy that I Can help old people's there.
I am trying to learn more and be the best in shipping 😎😎😎😎
Can you use stamps for the large envelopes? Like with that round thing you put in... If so how many stamps?
Will 2 forever stamps be enough to send a 3 oz envelope with a supernintendo game inside?
On eBay it's called First Class Package and it includes tracking.
off topic but nice camera, what camera did you use? :)
My sons and brother use a Dymo label printer I use a regular desktop printer.
so if im sending it to usps to ship to customer can I leave that first class pkg in the bin? how will I know if they will scan the tracking label???
If you do a game like that I would take it in at the PO to ship. First Class "Package" is a different rate than standard First Class. You could over pay it with 4/5 stamps and it would probably be OK.
So I can use my own box/packaging type of choice? I don't have to use a USPS box?
Can seem to find on the USPS website to make a first class label.
u can't do on that site go to PayPal.com/shipnow ornyou'll have to go to post office every time. and I ain't got time for that
Fantastic video! Helped put my mind at ease. Only problem I am having is finding those small boxes. Any idea?? Once again, awesome video.
ReapsVsTheWorld1 You can buy them online if there is no business in your area that sells boxes.
So if I have a small package for first class can I stick it in my mailbox and put the flag up and have the mail person take it??
how do you know what shipping label to buy on ebay because I sold a pair of sunglasses and they didnt let me use first class and was under weight
I think on the USPS website that an envelope needs to be no thicker than 3/4", otherwise you must use a box. Not sure if they really care.
First class Envelope/Flat Mail:
Minimum size: 6 1/8 inches tall or 11 1/2 inches long and 0.007 inches thick
Maximum size: 12 inches tall x 15 inches long and 3/4 inches thick
Maximum weight: Up to 13 oz.
I'd like to know if anyone has had an issue with the 3/4" rule....
I guess I am reading it wrong, because I see it on their website as no thicker than 3/4" as well. I've been wondering about this for awhile and may have to go to the post office for clarification. I purchased boxes for this very reason, which would have been a total waste of money if I'm wrong :(
So if I have a 4” by 8” bubble mailers under 1/4” thick, can I send it will stamps through first class mail? Since it fits the size requirements?
This video really helped out a lot. If my item can get inside of a standard envelope with stiffener will that be fine by eBay standards, since I don't see an option in the dropdown thing for First Class Standard Envelope.
All they do is First Class Package Thick Envelope. If you want to just put stamps on it that's fine but there won't be any tracking.
Any advice?
That would be First Class Package/Thick envelope on the eBay drop down menu.
Thanks for that. What if I am selling through Shopify? It looks like I have to specify whether this would be considered first class letter, large envelope, or package.
Can you stick it in one of the blue USPS mailboxes too?
Yes
I’m selling a used action figure and I’m gonna use the yellow patted envelope. Do I need stamps? If yes how many/what kind?
If I want to send a pair of earrings (about 1/2 in. thick) would I have to send them first class in a flat? Also, do you know about how much that would cost me?
I would use a padded envelope or 4 x 4 x 4 box. Should be 3-4 ounces $1.93 - $2.01
Lets say i stick my item into one of the bubble mailers envelopes and put the labeling on it and everything. Can i just stick it in my mail box or should i have to take it to my post office?
Stick it in your box, hand it to a carrier or drop it off, all are good.
My tarot cards weigh 36 ounces what do i use to mail them in?
Is there size restrictions that the package needs to be? (thickness) For example, i shipped something very small and flat in a envelope like the one you put the video game it. (A gift card) I was told it needed to be a min. of 3/4 thick so i just threw in some crumbled printer paper to make up for it. I thought it was just the 13oz rule and it ships with first class mail? etnarc Thankyou so much!! I did ship first class package, luckily i added some paper b/c my post office is strict!
How much do you pay to ship the DVDs in the large envelope
What is the cheapest way to mail Cell Phone Flip Cases sold on eBay?
Flip cases are about 6.3"x3.5"x0.7", 1.05oz. What envelopes can I uses?
I tried asking at post offices, buy they confused me even more. I really hope you can help me.
I would use an 0 or 00 padded envelope. It would ship First Class at 2 ounces ($2.66) with tracking.
In First class shipping do you have to have a signature at the door when you package arrives.
You are not Rich Only for items over $250
For the large envelopes, the maximum thickness allowed is 3/4 of an inch, according to the usps website. How do you get them to accept thick packages like that, like the one you showed, which was way over 3/4 inch?
+1stPlaceDirector Minimum of 3/4 or rigid
So if I'm sending 2 trading cards in a yellow bubble mailer through ebay, would it be cheaper to just take in the mailer in to the usps store and have them weigh it and such and send it that way, or should I just do the standard first class package through ebay for the $2.60? I dislike sending cards in regular white envelopes as i've had many issues with them being ripped open going through the machines in the past.
It's cheaper to do it through eBay than going into the Post Office.
Alright, thanks for the response.
Use envelopes and forever stamps for cards super cheap
This. I will not ship cards in a plain envelope or buy cards if they will be sent in an envelope. The humidity where I live ruins cards and a plain envelope offers NO protection. Double sleeve, top loader in bubble mailer at least.
How do you recommend shipping fairly light
PC Components Company The cheapest is First Class International but you can't track it. Priority can be tracked and you could use some of the sized packages like Flat Rate Envelope or Small Box but the price goes up a bit. Some use the eBay Global Shipping Program but I think they overcharge the buyer.

when does usps pick up first class mail from home. do you need to have at least one priority mail packake for them to pick them all up or have to take them to post office
For the postages could they be printed on normal paper then taped onto the package? Or would it have to be sticker paper and whatnot? Thanks in advance!
Valentino Pedroza Regular paper will work. Self adhesive is easier if you do a lot.
Oh alright, thank you!
My brother does pick up at his door.
that's so convenient
1) I needed to send a bubble mailer to a friend with a trading card that i did not sell on ebay.. i couldnt find an option to send it first class on usps.com .. if there a way to do that instead of having to actually go to the post office.. i waited on a huge line today and want to avoid this in the future.. i asked the lady at the post office and she didnt have an answer for me..
2) is it common to send trading cards in a regular envelope or better to send in a bubble mailer? im sure with a regular envelope all you would need is one stamp.. i paid 3 bux to ship it in 4x8 bubble mailer today
appreciate your advice in advance. ty
A regular envelope with one stamp should work for a card. The main reason for using eBay shipping is tracking and satisfying eBay.
Can I buy the yellow envelope from the post office
Yes, but they are way overpriced. Office Depot, Walmart even dollar stores are better for a few. Buy bulk on eBay.
Do you just tape on the address of where you're shipping it or do you just get a label from eBay and tape it on? Also can i just drop it off in a blue mailbox that's near my house lol. I want to sell a game just like you did in that video. I am new to eBay and want to make sure i do everything right.

Item
+Glenda Jaimes Print the shipping label on plain paper and tape it to your package.
Sorry to bother, but when I buy stickers from usps that say from-to,
Where exactly do I have to place the sticker on the envelope
You should use blank stickers, I use 1/2 sheet, and eBay shipping to print your labels. If you are using regular stamps to mail something the address label goes in the lower right of the item.

Would it be wise to ship a video game strategy guide through First Class? Also, is there a way to calculate shipping of First Class items online?
Aaron S Small thin guides yes. Big fat ones I would use media mail. eBay has a shipping calculator, you can find it in the Shipping Center on the left side.
I am mailing t-shirts and other clothes in a 9 by 12 padded envelope (first class mailing). What demsion would i put for the thickness? Also is there a maxium thickness for first class mailing?
mary Elhaj Whatever the actual thickness is. First Class Package is up to 80" combined length and girth (distance around thickest part).
in the package with the video game could you select LETTER option on the USPS website or would you have to select the PACKAGE option? I know there is a sizable price difference based on the section.
David Lourenco USPS web site has different service and price structure than eBay.
etnarc is ebay cheaper? or usps cheaper?
Keith Jackson A 3oz Package/Thick envelope with tracking eBay $1.93, at the PO $3.37. The USPS gives eBay users a discount.
ok thanks,i appreciate the info, i just looked it up
When shipping a video game on Ebay with a thick envelope, would I have to weigh the package? Or will it ship as long as it does not pass a certain weight?
Pablo Hernandez Weigh it and round up 5.4 = 6, print and ship.
etnarc Okay, thanks for all the help!!!
where can i get these boxes for first class packages.
I get mine locally, but you can buy them on eBay too.
If I am sending a baseball cap what is the best form of USPS Mail do you think I should use?
Aminahh Mahmoud If you can pack it up under 13 ounces then First Class Mail. Over 13 then Priority Mail. Under 1 pound should go almost anywhere in the US for about $5.50 Priority.
etnarc Thank you!! Great Video btw.
I'm new to selling/shipping on eBay and just found (and subscribe to) your channel! I need to send a cell phone case to HI via USPS first class; what's the best packaging to use? Also, the label that you're printing and it self sticks ... what are those called and where can I find? Thanks!
Can I just print the label at home ? And then buy one single envelope at post office ? How do I weigh a game?
+SIRKSxFUNK You could, but I wouldn't buy an envelope at the PO, too expensive. Try OfficeMax, Walmart or dollar stores. If you don't have a scale, most video games are around 4-5 ounces add 1 more for the envelope. Six ounces First Class Mail would probably cover it.
etnarc ok thank you
Can I just write the address on a box and slap some stamps on it? Will the package be considered First Class Mail by default, or how to I designate First Class Mail?
TomlinsTE It will be First Class but you will over pay a bit. USPS gives us Commercial Pricing through eBay so you get a discount and free tracking. A 10 ounce box using stamps is $3.58, tracking is $1.05 extra but you have to go to the PO to get it. Same item through eBay is $2.93 with tracking. And I can do it in my PJ's.
thank you for making it simple in 4 minutes.
Can i ship a protein supplement with these specifications:
Hx W x D: 4.5" x 4" x 4"Shipping Weight: 0.6lb
It weighs about 10 oz, its a cylinder shape case.
Do you think it will pass as 1st class priority mail weighing under 13 oz? Thanks man
Yes as First Class Package, now up to 16 oz.
Thx man. I was kinda unsure if it would pass as first class package. Cheers!
Do I just take my item packaged and labeled to the post office then tell them I want flat rate?
You can buy and print Flat Rate at home through eBay, it's cheaper than going to the Post Office.
Did you say you can't insure first class mail ?
How long will it take for a regular paper envelope to arrive at it's destination?
1-3 days
I wanna ship a shirt is it first class or prioritie
Do you have to put a label on a letter or can you just put the information on the envelope.
Mbgkillzone5000 You can just put the info on the letter, it just won't have tracking.
Thank you so much, saved me
Excellent Video and Thank you again. Helped this shipper tremendously :)
can i use clasp envelopes instead of padded?
So when I print the label and put in on the package to ship, do i still have to put stamps?
ChunTix713 No, you are paying for the postage through eBay when you print the label.
etnarc Ok, Thanks!
Hayyy. How do you measure the bulky items in bubble envelope ? Dimensions?
You would use a measuring tape or ruler to measure it.
Mr. etnarc Sir,
So I have to go onto PayPal to print the label then I tape it on the package? Then I can just put in it a blue box or drop it off in the post office?
Yes.
Thank You.
Can I ship video games using 9 x 12" envelopes with the metal clasps? Please reply, thank you!
Sure. I would tape over the clasp so that it does not get caught on anything.
How do I add tracking to the small envelopes like postcards
What is the weight of the item? Max for First Class is 13 ounces.
Thank you for your video! I was a bit confused about how to send it.
I know this is for first class mail, but can i use that 9 by 6 in envelope for priority shipping? i'm trying to ship some smartphones. thanks in advance!
Also, I have Stamps.com software and when I chose 1st class, it allows an option for me to add insurance, but you said insurance wasn't allowed? Why?
+1stPlaceDirector As of January 19 you can insure USPS First Class on eBay. And they raised the weight to 16 ounces for First Class.
$3 for the door at Habitat Restore and $8 for the 2x4's. Plus lots of work room!
Is there an another USPS option for shipping above 13 oz besides priority mail?
Can I ship a 10ml plastic bottle of liquid concentrate (flavor concentrate), dimensions of bottle height 3 inch, depth is about 3/4inch, length is 3/4th first class mail flat? Also with the item you used to demonstrate the first class mail part, would that be considered flexible?( item @ 2:00 ) also would that ship for $1.00 the flat rate first class rate?
