At first i didn't like the fact that you dont have a visible character, but after seeing the gameplay it actually works well because you can actually see what you are riding up to.
This game took a while to click, but once it did I'm glad I bought it.
It's hard to explain, but this game looks silly just watching clips. Did not look like my cup of tea. But once you figure out how to do stuff, it's really fun. I hope the devs stick with it because this game could be special
It looks mad floaty. I'm sorry but if it's just a board and shoes, it's not a skate sim- it's a fingerboard sim
There's stats you can change how it feels n looks n mod it aswell.

Planning on playing some non-skateboarding action-sport games? Def try Shredders or BMX Street for example!
Slow mo @.8 is the sweet spot in my opinion. You can still get a real feel for flip speed but grind control steps way up.
Bro Kurb from skater xl community made a new mechanic for the game where he added mass to the skater . Now tricks feel proper weight and feels so smooth now ! Skater xl feels like a new game
Its like Session without the inconvience of having a body or gravity.
Session was hard at first but I have played skatelabs and not going to lie its so much fun.
Talked with one of the guys working on this game currently, he's an ex session modder and he's all in with this one! looking forward to the future of this one!

@@JLNightmare Yep, he seems really passionate about this one, and basing off past work I think he will definitely be a great asset! And with some of the recent announcements from Creature, it's good to see another Skate Sim being built up by good people.

You should check out mods for skatelab. There's a handful of cosmetic ones, and some map mods, and more hopefully soon.
This looks interesting. I just hope they plan on having full characters later down the line. Only the shoes just doesn't work for me.
I assume this is for people into Fingerboarding? Not my cup of tea but I could see many enjoying this game.
Not big on the "only-the-shoes" bit, but it didn't stop me from buying the game just now

It's like a digital tech deck, but more expensive and not nearly as charming as the toys.

Liked the video, the game... not so much.
1 min in... game already lost my interest, and I love skateboarding games. I did not care for the mobile game that this reminds me of.

Still love both of those games.. I just also like playing / trying other games. Why does it matter if there’s a character or just shoes? The skateboard and its physics are what this game is about, which makes for a fun experience.
@@JLNightmare it's kinda silly to me the physics are there to make it a realistic finger board game, or skate board like game. I've seen the true skate games.
