Don’t sell yourself short you are an absolute gem and you bring so much more to the table (videos) than worm catching but I have to say that was a great how to video. Cheers Mike
You can tell shes a aussy girl. Im guessing shes been camping most of her life with her family and her old man has taught her all those tips on how to get pippies and worms whisle beach camping. Good on yas. Live the dream. Yewww
Thanks you. You have explained this very well. You obviously were taught by someone special and your love for the outdoors is evident in your whole being. Cheers.
Absolutely AWESOME video. Leigh is a great worm catcher. She makes it look WAY EASIER than it actually is. But there’s no doubt they are THE BEST BAIT IN THE BEACH ZONE.
The best instructions I’ve seen so far about how to actually grab them last time I tried as soon as i touched the sand they went down definitely try this method thanks for sharing 👍👍👍👍
I spent hours trying to catch these worms with no success..thanks for the tips ..great video and your demo of how to technique was the best I've seen...any fishing bloke would marry you as soon as he saw you do this
Awesome video. Most young ladies are not hands on for worms. You are an excepion. Beautiful and practical. Very rare. You have an enthusiastic follower from NW British Columbia close to the Alaskan border. Thankyou for your experiences.
That was impressive identifying and catching the 2nd best whiting bait to catch the 1st best bait on the beach. I have shown many fishermen how to catch these worms and most never master it. The cockles / pipis are also delicious and we have some massive middens along our coast and the limestone rocks are still black from the cooking fires .
I’m a landlocked Yank and have no clue what this is all about. But, it’s very cool watching the technique. Reckon it must be a great bait for surf fishing. Love outdoors folks everywhere they be!
You are a dead-set legend. Gave this a go at my local after watching - absolutely bloody hopeless! Plenty of worms around but I have to level-up big time haha!
You Go Girl,,,,good on you Bronte,,thats how you do it girly,,,one thing if i could ad sorry,,i was shown by my late great Dad, was to form a V at the land side of the worm to reduce the water flow over the worms head so you can see him..but your vid is one of the best i have seen & thank you for shearing your info,,,,take care guys,,Brett ❤🐟
Hey Brett! Awesome thanks for the tip! Do you form a V with the hand holding the pipi? I definitely find the worms in deeper water harder to get with all the water flow. Cheers, B
@@wrightysroot Hi Bronte,,form the V with your feet as the water flow go,s out,,,,it will fill with water like a pond so you can see straight thru the water & see the worm..ie ,so that the water is coming back from the beach to the ocean with the V facing the ocean,,,,hope you understand me,,,Dad always said never turn your back on the ocean,,,cheers B,,you Go Aussie girl 😁.,.,Brett
@@wrightysroot Hey Bronte, i forgot to say that i hold the bait in my non catchn hand, also rub sand on my catchn fingers, thumb & index to make it gritty for better grip of the worm.,.,Brett
I literally just went worming this arvo with a friend, she's an absolute gun (her dad used to worm commercially) and got 40 to my zero...but I'll keep trying! Thanks for the tips 🤙
Hi Wright i go worming on the wide beaches of Adelaide i take them home in salt water just to keep them fresh and clean then in a smaller container i place about 3/4 cup of method leave them in for about 3 minutes then package and freeze the photo is of the last lot about 10 worms per pack enjoyed your video and your information thanks so tight lines regards johno.
Catching beach worms is one of the most difficult things to do. You're amazing! I learnt on the gold coast. There are a couple of different species of beach worm around there. Never tried salting them down. Is it just as effective as bait? Thanks for the video.
Hello Alex & Bronte Just found you channel been watching a lot of your videos absolutely brilliant what a amazing place Australia is thank you for showing us your awesome adventure still got a few to watch. What a fantastic worming technique Bronte and watching Alex's fishing 🤟tight lines from England 🇬🇧 John & Tina
Clever girl. I've fished for sixty years and never seen people pull up worms like that. Which beach and what State ? That was enjoyable to learn. Pretty girl too with a classic Aussie charm, and no tats ! 🇦🇺👍
I've been sea fishing for 44 years out of the 50 i've been alive, i'm from England, i've collected my own bait countless times, many different types of bait but I have seen a technique like that, that is a hell of a skill, i was wondering where the technique originated from?
I was actually here for the worms but after watching this beautiful woman that is outdoors smart what every man would want in a woman especially me somebody I can do things like this
Awesome vid guys! We will have to try it out next time we're driving on the beach though it would be hard looking for those pipi mounds whilst driving!
She's a keeper. Beautiful and likes to hang out in nature and forage. Lucky bugger.........

Great info crew, cheers for sharing this. Stay safe, have fun! 👍😁🍻
I used to do that when I was in Australia. I made a pair of pliers with pins in. The worms were so good for whiting.
Take a nap that beach will be a nightmare , nice video
Great video bronty.
In the UK to catch worms we either use a garden fork and dig them out or use a bait pump. Great video though keep them coming.
What a Cool Aussie Chick..
A lot of us are like this. I even hunt

Holy Mac. I’m in love 😂
Great video Bronte, just wondering how do you rig those up for fishing? Like roughly how big do you cut them for your hooks?
Much appreciated
roughly 10-15cm, depends a bit how thick the worm is and what u intend to fish i guess.

Whilst the Australian landscape is lovely in some parts it's not a fantastic place. Especially if you work here.

We put our worms in mentholated spirits. It makes go really tough and the fish love them.
And if the fish aren't biting the metho-preserved worms make great fire lighters
Yeah your the second person I've heard say that. 😊 I'll have to give it a go

I have tried a bunch of methods but never managed to get them reliably. Will have to try this method.
Yes, I also clicked to learn how to catch sand worms.
Awesome video! You guys are amazing. :) "It feeds on the peepee" LoL!!
My dad and I use beach worms as baits for most of our fishing.
Awesome, I always wondered how it was done, being from the bush I haven’t seen them caught before.
Next time your hit the beach give it ago !
Great video, thanks!
First video watched. Hope you’ve put a ring on that finger. 100% wifey there.
Nice Bronte!!
My kind of girl. Real hunter
Do those sand worm bite? If so is it painful? Because some Americans do?
best for fishing
Are you pulling them out with your thumb and index finger or just looped over your index finger?
Yeah using index and thumb to pull them out :)
Make sure your coarse salt is not iodised when drying out anu baits as this turns the fish off
Love it,thx a bunch, just subscribed due to your knowledge was exactly what I’m after, gonna check out your other videos now, much appreciated
Awesome vid guys! We will have to try it out next time we're driving on the beach though it would be hard looking for those pipi mounds whilst driving!
