@@ASFS08 Its actually amazing how much of the structures are still left over 4000 years later. Cleopatra lived closer to our present lifetime than to the egyptians who built these pyramids.

Just like the real pyramid, if you leave it in the sun for too many years, the white pyramid will become a tan pyramid. A really cool feature, I dont get why they dont advertise it on the box!
It's impressive, and the added details of the village and Nile are a fine touch for sure. but I really do wish that Architecture had more content than one cityscape and one set a year.

This is a super amazing looking set, and I love the attention to detail like the worker's village. Just... I don't think the nile is that close to the pyramids
Its way larger then i expected. Its a shame its not a full pyramid, but i love the interior of the semi build pyramid and the overall design is amazing. My mom and I are really into ancient egyptian mythology and history, so were definitly getting this.
It would be quite neat if this golden tip used actually chrome gold pieces, since it's what? 2 roof-like pieces only? It wouldn't be a big deal, but it's just me. A neat addition.
The fact they revealed it about a week after the final of moon knight which show the pyramids quite a bit in it is weird but I can’t complain but if people use this for moon knight animations will be sick
Interesting design, and wasn't expecting it to be be historically based with the white smooth finish. Still very cool release, and fantastic surrounding landscape. with the village, Nile, and boat builds.
As a fanatic of ancient Egypt I'll be picking this set up. Love the construction of the pyramid under the original. Interesting fact, the white stone exterior was made of granite and all three pyramids has them. The granite was thought to have been looted, and that's not well known. I geeked out when I saw that the pyramid was white.
It is a beautiful set. I love the Nile river being there. In antiquity, the Nile was in a different place, and canals were built that lead right up to the pyramid. When the Nile flooded in Summer it was when the stones were transported to Giza. Unfortunately, the Pyramid isn't white anymore because all the limestone got stripped off by later civilizations. :( Hah, it was prestigious job, but the workers also got paid in bread and beer! :)
The white isn’t because its “new” the pyramid used to be covered in a sort of cover stone/cap that achieved this very same effect, but many stones were stolen and others were eroded away by wind
That doesn’t mean it’s not amazing, recently, as I’ve said in other videos, I’ve been cooling down on buying sets right away, especially D2Cs like this one. I have a major backlog, and as I said in this vid, Architecture sets stick around a while anyways.

The real reason that Giza looks decayed now is because everyone took the limestone and used it for other projects. Same deal with the Colosseum
Also, there was an earthquake at one point where it ruined the bricks
@@ASFS08 Its actually amazing how much of the structures are still left over 4000 years later. Cleopatra lived closer to our present lifetime than to the egyptians who built these pyramids.
Ok I admit it, I took the marble from the colosseum, I took the bricks from the great pyramid of Giza, it was me, it was all me

Tbh I expected it to look more like sand colors shown on the real image on the box, but the white and gold makes it look so much cleaner
The pyramids used to be marble coated and capped in gold until people looted the materials.
It's also more accurate because it did look like this.
@@TheSonOfRyan no, it wasn’t marble. It was polished limestone.

Hoping for a Parthenon. As a person looking to continue ancient history into uni, I would snap that up in a moment!

Buy two of them :)
Why not simply display the set against a mirror to create a full pyramid?

According to Brickset's review of the set, the black shape on the back is meant to represent passages inside the pyramid.
It looks pretty good for an Architecture set, but I prefer minifig scaled things with actual figures to make it lively.
How would they sell a Lego set of that scale?
“I wish this was minifigure scale”
So…..you want it to fill your room?
It’d literally be over 10ft
I feel like Marvel’s “Moon Knight” is what got me into this…
"Take the body Marc"
If this were minifigure-scale, it would cost way more.
If this were minifigure scale it would be the size of a room
Indeed. At minifigure scale, it would be over 10ft (3m) high!

Display it against a mirror. Easy solution and won't take up twice the space.

If this is what they were planning instead of new Indiana Jones I guess I can wait for 2023 releases a bit more.

If you set it against a mirror you won't need two pyramid sets.
