    I'm from Scott Depot West Virginia. Some people from here sound like that and some do not. It just depends on the area. Lol

    As a west virginian the accent varies depending on what part your in😅

    I wondered why my husband from Missouri says “ warsh, “ which is close to how we say it “ wursh “ in neck of the woods.

    I’m from WV and I’ll say, “I’s goin’ to the store yesterday.” In stead of I was.

    From south end air force of Columbus, west Virginias northern most ciry... I'm a mount wiliams son of real live hillbillys.

    Appalachian English is a variant of southern American English, and it’s just one of many versions of southern English. It’s also sometimes called Southern Mountain Dialect 😊

      No it isn't. Appalachian English is its own dialect of English.
