- Different Between 3-axis, 4-axis and 5-axis CNC Machines | Popular CNC for industrial factories
- 3-axis CNC milling machine: It has three main axes: X, Y, and Z, moving simultaneously in horizontal (X), vertical (Y), and up/down (Z) directions.
- 4-axis CNC milling machine: It has three main axes X, Y, Z like a 3-axis machine, and an additional rotational axis (A or B). This rotation axis allows the part to rotate around a fourth axis, typically the main spindle.
- 5-axis CNC milling machine: This type of machine includes 3 basic axes X, Y, Z, and adds 2 out of 3 auxiliary axes A, B, C. The most common are axis A and axis C or axis B and axis C. These axes have tilt and rotate the workpiece holder.

I hate AI narration. At time 3:08 it stated the same thing. Correction B axis has the workpiece rotating around the Y axis. Otherwise this video has good illustration.
