Ohh u r a true legend bro.after updating to windows 11 this issue started and now it's fixed.for my case after rollback I had to go to registry and change it again to latest version and that fixed my issue

I dont even know if this is the problem I'm having because my background keeps refreshing on its own every few seconds. I cant open anything except the task manager by ctrl alt delete. I check the Performance tab and I see the GPU is jumping from 1% to 100%. And the CPU is going very weirdly up and down . I don't know what to do. I thought by putting the AMD folder in the recycling bin would fix it but now that I see that it doesn't, i dont know how to undo it. I didnt permanently delete the folder, its still in the recycling bin.

Try clean install from AMD cleanup utility and then try upgrading 2021 software

I recommend to update the radeon software using it's installer. that's what I did and it works. Glad I could help :)

My AMD radeon software is always downgrading to version 19.40.46.
I keep updating to the latest version but after a few days or even switching on my laptop after shutting down, it reverts bacl to the old version

OK, but the real question is, "why does this keep happening"? I have used this solution many times and also gone through the process of reinstalling with Radeon software update executable that I download from AMD website. After a week or so or maybe just after a couple of days the same thing happens all over again. The real solution is to stop this from happening in the first place. Other drivers from different manufactures don't have this problem, why does only Radeon Graphics driver have this problem??
