The problem with not know if you are going to be in a carrier game is if you want to defend yourself you need an AA build. If you have an AA build and no carrier you give up so much for nothing and I think that's the big issue
It is for this reason that my number 1 wish for wargaming to implement is a build system. Give us say, 3 build slots per ship and give us the opportunity to switch builds up until the start of the match.
Even then you're not actually doing anything. Me and my buddies have had several games shooting down 40+ planes and the CVs still send full squadrons. It's crazy to me that this issue has seemingly been largely forgotten by the community already
Esp plane regen. Imo now they're basically just flying dpm cruisers with even longer range and requiring a lot less skill to play. Its a good thing people are bored of the rework already. We don't want cvs to end up like they are on PC.
@@nathanmarshall2826 Yeah, and given battleships are the most popular type this game may become world of planes that just happens to have some ships in it very soon unless they limit the number of hybrids like they do carriers. Once the game was something closer to balanced with a "rock, paper, scissors" thing, then carriers screwed that up, now hybrids may screw it up even more. And, eventually, as soon s they can figure out how I'm sure subs will screw it up too.
It was also a buff to island camping cruisers and slightly, slightly helped bbs not be constantly spotted from across the map whenever a carrier was present. But, yes, the cv rework absolutly helped dds the most.

They buffed CVs. I started playing them again. But then they nerfed them back down lol. Ya not as bad as they were before. But they are still fairly weak again. So I mostly lost interest in them again. CVs need to be strong for CVs players to play CVs. Until then I'm gonna stay in my BB's.
As per the new Facebook video release this morning it looks like USS Tulsa is the campaign ship for the July 1 update along with Popeye collab, missions, and other items.
I think the Campaign is Enterprise or another ship this is a red herring they have done it before, Now I think its Enterprise as it well get a lot of buyers to get the backing or just buy the Campaign out right, as they want as many to buy this to cover thier Star Trek crossover, which is why Enterprise is coming in the first place I think, Now if this is the Campaign then it is two CL in a row nothing about it screams buy me it has no fun gimmick like the De 7 Provinciën, this is just a like US VL so no torps, it has with 10 5in guns, its is just another DPM CL Fire spam ship for either Legendary or tier 8 as its tier 9 on PC so it could be either. And there are better ones that have more guns or torps or both, This looks more like a bureau ship, now if Enterprise os not the ship it well be a BB I think as so far this year it was DD,CL, BB, DD, CL, so is Enterprise is an event thing the campaign ship well be a BB not another CL, and if the Vallejo is the ship this is sad, no one wants this,

Holding out hope that this will be an Element of Choice campaign and the Big E won't be hidden behind an insane pay wall like random bundles.

Subs would probably already be in the game if not for the fact that consoles will likey struggle to also render an underwater environment.
