No matter how big a good band get, if they cover a song they loved in their formative years they get a spark in their eyes and they're 16 year olds again, a great thing to see.

I've covered Joy Division and wasn't even born when Ian Curtis died. A cover is another artist doing their own take on someone else's song. This cover's pretty faithful to the original, but it's still an amazing cover.

OK, I'll admit that I'm not a fan of Radiohead, but love Joy Division/New Order. These guys really knocked it out of the ballpark with this cover. They stayed pretty true to the original, yet managed to put their own stamp on it at the same time. Not an easy feat. I think they really did this tune some justice. Very impressed. I wasn't even 20 when Joy Division wrote this. I'd just moved to the UK, which felt like home instantly. Was still young when Radiohead came along. It's an amazing performance. One can see why the band was happy to go with Thom Yorke as "front man", he's a natural performer and dancer. Entrancing to watch.

This is my favorite song ever written, but what adds a little to the beautiful tragedy surrounding this last Joy Division song that I don't think it was ever properly recorded to its full potential. Still love New Order's version though, and Galaxie 500's, and this one
