In the old days people used to listen to music and then hum fragments of it later in the day. With music like this that is no longer possible. You are impressed by the composition while it is being played but cannot remember any of it once it is finished. For me, music like this works better when it accompanies a video, but that's just me. At least, Klaus seems to be having a good time.
Sure, but considering alot of what's presented in terms of new music written for the symphonic orchestra, this is far more edible for the average listener as opposed to the barrage of atonality, textures and extended playing techniques that is of no interest to anyone other than the composer and other composers out to nib an orchestration idea here and there. Zinovjev is like barely 30 and I think he has many years to perfect his sound and come with his magnus opus.
I think this is a magnus opus. Colours, shapes, sensations, opportunities to create mental landscapes... Love this piece. I use it to create my drawings and paintings. Sauli will grow up. Sure.

The only positive aspect is that most of this junk is played once or twice then consigned to the trash can where it belongs- lol.
