- Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark strings together her most complete game yet by scoring a season-best 30 points, dishing out six assists and grabbing five rebounds despite losing 88-82 to the Los Angeles Sparks.
“I think I just played with an aggressive mindset,” she said. “I think that was the biggest thing - to play downhill the best I could. We did some good things and then we just kind of shot ourselves in the foot.”

While leading the league with 44 turnovers no one else has over 20. So I'm asking she's not at this level yet not saying she won't be they're losing why are you watching what's the reason.. her type of game Won't immediately transfer most teams can stop her as soon as she calls half courtline. She 1 player on 1 team that won 1 game.
problem is the WNBA doesn't WANT to be saved. They want to make an example of CC for not being an activist lesbian of color.
What is exciting to me is thinking about this crucible CC is in. Seeing that game last night and recognizing all the pressure play and vitriol that is being focused on her--I can't help but think of how great this is gong to make her. One can see the signs already. She is transforming everything around her. She is going to change this league into a successful one, I think.
Please give an example of anything you just said? So how do you think defense vers a shooter like her? Pressure. Tell me who has hate towards CC what player has said anything? Last I checked CC leads the league in turnovers. By alot. She on a 1/8 team. 2 games scored over 20. People who want to watch her play great glad to see. But she is in no way a great player. It is so disrespectful for the players that's been there if you want to watch them or not are asked about Caitlyn when she is not playing great.

The greatness clicked in last night and Caitlin Clark just became a problem for the WNBA. It took 7 games for her to figure this thing out.
94 feet of denial. Traps. Stunts....etc. She still scores 30 and passes the crap out out the ball. Should have easily had 10 assists. We're discovering that she's not only a good passer but that she's an extraordinary passer. Never in league history has a rookie, or perhaps any player, received so much defensive attention.
Expect the hatred and resentment to increase a notch. Now they try to hurt her.

Props to her. That being said, the sparks are horrible. I don't see a lot of athleticism on the sparks' team and she still managed to turnover the ball 7 times and get a technical foul.

if the WNBA isnt implementing "jordan rules" for her they are screwing up.
She is the most complete player in the WNBA with a team with insufficient help and a couch. with no basketball fundamentals and creativity like in the NBA. On the other hand in this context, the other teams are trying to destroy her emotionally and physically. She deserves 2 other good players to create different plays using picks, picks, and rolls and all things that a coach like me uses to educate in fundamentals young players to be great competitors. The WNBA needs to grow and evolve or disappear. They have Clark, Cameron Brinc, and Reese who can elevate the game with the few good players who are already in the WNBA. Some WNBA players need to stop mobbing and finish their envy and hate because Caitlin is white. Brinc is an extremely beautiful white woman and they did not attack her. The same thing happens with Reese, the beautiful black woman. But she prefers the envy and bad attitudes of the grandmas and mothers of an old-fashioned WNBA Private Club. God help the league so they can grow and make money. The NBA SHOULD NOT MAINTAIN A 25-YEAR-OLD ADULT BASKETBALL LEAGUE WITH THEIR MONEY YEAR AFTER YEAR.

They won when she scored 12 and on the bench. Oo and mobbing her called defense. And players way better then her. Most teams in the WMBA can stop her as soon as she crossed the half courtline. There's nobody complaining about Caitlyn not because she white aren't anything. She is a very good player She is not great as she is not the best at anything in the WNBA. To your last Point that's a league's been around for 25 years and now you're watching it because of why because of the white player that's playing it's the exact same game you just with a gister own point thank you.

Your correct on the turnover's. The Mercury not only had 20 TURNOVER'S, 1 for 27 from the 3 and no player's in double digits in their blowout loss. They really need to cut back on their TURNOVER'S. Maybe take more mid range 2"s then 3"s that might help. Just saying. Apparently turnover's are the biggest problem especially this season for some reason.

How long will it be before the Fever remove Sides? Are they going to wait for fans to stop coming to games, stop streamers from buying WNBA passes, CC to transfer out? SIDES is so UNPROFESSIONAL, coaches don’t bad mouth their players!! CC was hot and she benched her? Yes, CC got a technical foul because she knew her coach wasn’t going to say anything to the ref’s. There's a tremendous amount of added stress, beyond the opposition guarding, on Clark, Boston, and Mitchell to carry this team on their backs. Hull, Smith, Samuelson, and Wheeler had only one bucket the entire game. Wallace, who started and played 27 minutes, only had two buckets. Shooting percentages in the 20s. Only some really good defense kept them in the game. They need shooting drills against a defender badly.
Boston is tanking the season because she dosen't want Clark there. The freeze out has been on from the onset.

Look at the level " SHE '" Brought Iowa 2 , Jerry West only won 1 championship, BUT HE'S THE LOGO... GIVE HER TIME.....
She's the only rookie in a group of 4 players with this stat line. This group includes the GOAT DT and I hear she's pretty good. So when any other player in the W has a game like this against a subpar team the media and fans shouldn't make a big deal out of it. Afterall it's not a real accomplishment unless it's against a good team. Unfortunately not every team is good. So this will negate some of the W"s best players performances. Such a shame. Congratulations to CC and the W for her record scoring line. I would think this only helps the entire league when something good happens. I could be wrong.

Up 4 the coach puts CC on the bench and lets the Sparks go ahead by 7. Seems suspicious.
CC will not be able to replicate this type of performance with Kelsey Mitchell being a ball hog and not passing the ball to CC regularly, like a TEAM player would. Additionally, "Coach" Sides does not have the basketball I.Q. to figure out how to have what is called "PLAYS" to get CC in the open for her three pointers and a thirty point average. It will take until the end of September for the Fever management to figure this out. Then again, quite possibly the Fever are beginning to jell and future offense is just right around the corner.
Z7 She’s played how many games? With a new team. In a different environment. With a new coach. Her 3s are pure. She drives and makes plays. I played ball. This game isn’t easy. Too much pressure for her from media and haters like you. If you think you can do better…….

Clark’s game flaw that I can see are her turnovers, I think she has 3or 5 turnovers per game which is a big factor

The WNBA hasn’t been worth watching. Caitlin Clark has changed that dynamic. I still wouldn’t watch a game if you paid me, but I’d watch Caitlin play. When are the jealous nitwit platers going to recognize this?

Best game yet but assist to turnover ratio still a problem. This is the only thing she is struggling with. In college, she had players that she had played with for years. They knew what each other would do. It'll take time but her teammates and she will improve throughout the season.

May I remind everyone that she played one of the worst teams in the league. She also had several turnovers that resulted in points for LA. Nurse was poppin' 3s all night for LA. CC not so much. She is good but very overrated IMO.
They don't face guard overrated at 90 feet. She averaged 5.5 turnovers per game all three years at Iowa. It's who she is, high risk high excitement passing.
