Next time I would like to see every penalty. I find it always exciting to see them and it creates more tension watching the summary.

Actually they said they have twice as much people than they expected
A) It is considered a "Friendly".
B) Almost none of the starters played.
C) There has been A LOT of Fùtbol played at Dignity Health Sports Park...aka...StubHub...aka...HDC in the last week. Galaxy vs sanHo, Super Copa Cruz Azul vs Necaxa/ Campeon de Campeones Tigres vs america, ICC Bayern vs Arsenal, Galaxy vs lafc...aka...Chivas USA and now this game. I don't think Galaxy management/ AEG cares one bit.

MLS doesn't care about any games other than regular-season MLS games...
I find it ridiculous that, how do MLS clubs want to be strong if they don't prioritize continental competitions? The best concacaf teams are from Mexico, mls clubs should give importance to this competition to have a place in the FIFA Club World Cup. Winning concacaf would be the first step for mls. I follow the mls, I am Brazilian and I support the United States soccer a lot
I'm glad that you follow MLS all the way from another country... I genuinely find that interesting.
The reason MLS doesn't care about international competitions is because that's not where they make the bulk of their money... pure and simple.
First and foremost, MLS has designed the league to generate as much revenue as possible all year long, which is why so many games are scheduled in the regular season.
They have accustomed their paying fan bases to expect games on weekends (some weekday but not often), and usually international tournaments take place on odd days.
It then becomes difficult to hype up two different tournaments at once (the regular MLS season game and an international competition) which is why MLS team execs look at such tournaments as useless distractions more than anything else.
Fans of these teams expect to see their stars fully fit and playing come normal weekend time... so coaches don't want to risk their top players for these tournaments.
I understand, but here in Brazil is also like this, the national competition has a much larger award than the liberatores. But if you look at liberatores differently as the priority, it is very common to do the opposite, save players in the national competition to play 100% liberators. Obviously, Libertadores is much more competitive because there are clubs from several extremely traditional countries with strong clubs. It is the competition that everyone wants to "Be the best in South America". But I think Libertadores is extremely competitive but it lacks awards. I think a very smart and serious way to combine Conmebol with concacaf would be a much bigger prize and a better technical level, perhaps making the MLS clubs want to win this competition. In amounts to liberators not too low are distributed $ 208.9 million to participating clubs throughout the competitions and $ 18 million to the winner. If combined with concacaf this value would be much higher. Besides being a very good experience for US football, imagine playing against Boca Juniors, Flamengo, River, Santos, Sao Paulo ... I think it's a path to study, we in America have many paths we can take to get to the European club level
Otávio Araujo You are right. With the growing talent here, they should be playing against the best in our region. The issue is they can beat the other Central American teams. When they face Mexican teams who face each other all the time it’s not going to end well for MLS teams. Play your first squad, maybe lose, but next time you’ll get stronger, and stronger, and stronger. This is a simple concept really. A concept my club coach used when I was young playing in state cups. If we were U-15 we played U-17 or U-16. When the big tournament at the end of the year came we would demolish teams in our own age group because we played an age group or two up. Same concept applies. Play better teams and become stronger and able to compete with them later on. Unless you’re Real Madrid who got rocked for some reason 😂

What about do the Concacaf champions league during the months of September, October and the final in November so like that the MLS teams can really b in form instead of doing this b.s friendly tournaments
Ultimately it wouldn't matter because MLS teams aren't designed for international competitions plus the owners don't care about anything other than the regular MLS season.
