David Beckham will always be a galaxy legend
1. David 2. Donovan 3. Zlatan and MAYBE chicharito at number 4. Maybe el Traffico will be something even more special whenever the season starts again.
@@poncicasas5948 ?
taco BS yeah this comment didn’t age well.
@@poncicasas5948 you forgot some players.
Definitely
I was crying at the end of this game as a dynamo fan who had traveled from Houston to la I still remember the utter sadness as an 11 year old it still hurts to this day
I respect for that bro! I'm a die heart GALAXY fan and cried before U GUYS GAVE US A FIGHT good luck
Yeah!
Liam Elliott I felt embarrassed when we lost to a team like LA Galaxy
We had the momentum until Carr went down
@@stefanrosenbusch2106 Wow lol
I miss THIS LA Galaxy
We are so back
Good. The AMERICAN soccer is in development. Greetings from italy!
Ya it's starting to get there, we just need more fans. At least your one outsider who is happy about our league. Many just talk trash about it, but then hate how many Americans don't know and like the sport well enough. Also I love italy and want to go to because my Grandmother is Italian, but she's gone. Still want to go though.
@@seanm5425 sorry bout that GO GALAXY THO.

@@vampireducks1622. That’s not bad although MLS still got a ways to go.
Probably the best squad in MLS history, Donovan, Beckham, Kramer, Magee, Gonzalez. This team was boss.
Robbie????
I love MLS. Greetings from brazil!!!
Beckham such an underrated player. He was a genius with his passing and free kick skills. Possibly the greatest of all time at these abilities.
This too what MLS is today is a huge difference. You can see it the quality of play
Congrats to the Galaxy. Thanks Beckham! You will be missed!
Beckham, keane and donovan, three legends
La Galaxy are such an exciting team to watch.
What a team this was.
I miss David Beckham playing in LAG's jersey. Heck...I already miss to see him playing and now he won't...forever. :'(
I agree that the NBA has gotten less intense than it was in the 90's and in the early 2000s, I still have fun watching it though. A sport that has getting out of date if not gotten is baseball.
Hell yeah. Another MLS Cup.
LA Galaxy baby!
Thanks David for your legendary career.
Thanks for a great highlight video - 12+ minutes is much more fitting to the games than the standard 7-9 minute clips.
LA Galaxy Legends

Its the same system in every other professional sport in the United States. This is the playoff system. live with it.
Have an amazing future Beckham! Congrats Galaxy!
Damn, such fun memories at the HDC!!! Seeing becks for the last time.....damn. But....we still had KEANOOOOOOOOO!!!!
Personally I think both were amazing! I live in LA too and a die hard galaxy fan but also a die hard Man U fan! Both leagues are some of the best in the world!!
BECKHAM BROUGHT ME HERE I AM NOT GONNA LIE
Soccer is the third most attended sport in the United States actually, and the second most popular sport for people ages 18 to 24. It's been getting bigger and bigger in America and will continue to do so. I remember when I used to attend Fire matches with my Dad and there were always not that many people in the stadium but now they are always packed. I think it might even level with hockey in a few years.
I jjust had to watch this again
excited for this spring/summer
i was there, one of the best days of my life
I was at this game, and the atmosphere from the 55th minute to the 70th, was the closet I will ever get to a European game(until I go to a European game).
The LA Galaxy win MLS Cup 2012!😍😊⚽
1st time ever that the L.A Galaxy won the title back-to-back. They became the 3rd team to win the MLS cup titles back-to-back.
SOUNDERS FOR LIFE!!!
That's so damn true. Congrats to LA!
It's already surpassed Nhl and Nba in average attendance
TheJpShow they have smaller venues in seating...
mattloveOHIOST5 if the sport is so big then why isn't there bigger venues for them to play at? Hmm
@@CompaFuzzball Because they play twice the number of games as MLS teams. Less people show up to games on weekdays. Try comparing TV ratings instead.
Maddenfan9gamer have you ever heard of Baseball??? Lol they have way bigger stadiums AND PLAY EVERY DAY!
@@biggchewy1212 duh🤦♂️ of course they need bigger venues because the playing field is way bigger compared to hockey and basketball that means more seating than arenas
soccer/football is getting really really popular here in the states!!!!
Houston has made it to three finals and the MLS never let Houston play the final in Houston, we have the reliant stadium, Comon MLS!!
Still in awe of Beckham's play. He created at least a dozen scoring chances and inspired the team with bursts of pressing defensive play to keep them on the attack. He was brilliant. And our defense was phenomenal. Bruin who?
L.A GALAXY could have easily won 4-1 or even 5 -1 we miss the good old days
Soccer!!!! MLS is on the move
I'm going to be honest here. I'm a Chinese American and I love football. It's the world's sport and it's the most interesting IMO. Many people in the US don't like football, they usually are interested in sports such as american football, baseball, hockey..etc. Many say our football is a slow sport, not high-scoring, too many divers...its development is hindered by the fact that the MLS is probably the 4th or 5th most popular league. Even though its a popular recreational sport...
he was class. Wish he gave it one more season, he still had it in PSG
I love American soccer now, it's awesome.
MLS is now in the top 10 for the best league in the world
Go Galaxy ...I can wait for the new season !!!
Houston and L.A next year! MLS has established a rivalry finally!
Agree with you 100%! After EPL, La Liga and Bundesliga, MLS is the league for me to follow. Even French League 1 comes after MLS - they need more team like PSG for me to start follow their news! ;D
That Houston fell apart when LA scored their first goal. It was closer than the final score, but Houston has themselves to blame.
They beat us not only once
But twice
Ever since that day
I vowed to myself i will beat la every time i meet them when i get older and play for houston
Don't feel too bad we beat New England three times in the final
The Galaxy have gotten a game-changing penalty call their way in every crucial match during this year's playoff run, topped off by the MLS Cup being hosted in their own stadium and a Hollywood ending to Beck's Galaxy career. Coincidence?
Congrats to David Beckham and the Galaxy from Vancouver
I miss David Beckham
playoff atmosphere lowkey look better than it does now
I agree.
I don't care if they call it soccer, im just glad its getting bigger over there!, seeing as though the south of America live for football!, time for you lot to have a go!
I love how big football (soccer) is getting in America.
Beckham's in the house.
I remember this Beckham was the best on his best performance that's days
12:10 That baby WON'T EVER forget that moment!
Then that baby is a genius!
engel3000 babies lose memory genius
yeah it was
BECKHAM IS THE BEST !!!
Agreed.
I hate when Europeans think that we aren't good at soccer. Our league is competitive unlike half of the big leagues in Europe. Everyone has a super team. Bayern, Real Madrid, Barca, Man U, Man City, others. In the US we don't have as much flexibility financially as they do because the MLS is barely 20 years old. As to where in Europe there are huge coliseum's for soccer, so of course they are getting so much money from all the fans. If we had bigger stadiums built specifically for football it would be different. Plus there are contacts that the league has that don't allow MAX contracts cause it's not too fair. Just saying be happy the sport is growing life is too short to compare. Just be happy that it's here and growing. What good is it to talk bad about the sport you love? We are trying to grow it and you put us down.
Totally agree
Jeremy Ramirez what are you on about Im English live in England and think the MLS is awesome nearly like it more than premiership football, I'm a HUGE Aston Villa and New York FC fan. I love Sunday "Soccer" LOL
+Jeremy Ramirez (iNT-Jay) MLS sucks.
+Jeremy Ramirez (iNT-Jay) Great speech. Totally true
Salary Cap keeps teams competitive. In other league without salary caps (Like the premier league) only like 3-4 teams dominate. With a salary cap, small market teams can have a chance of becoming competitive one day. We dont have a salary cap in baseball and we always see the same team with the most money doing well.
As a matter of fact, they do. The MLS Cup has been played at a predetermined neutral site every single year, with the only exception being this year.
I Like MLS, I saw that Game from Charallave. Venezuela and I Like L.A. Galaxy
I like when Adidas makes silver colored balls for MLS Cup
I wish they didn't call it soccer here in the states. We have a really good League, MLF would have been way better. Mayor League Football, I would support a team too. FC América all the way!
They probably would've been sued by the NFL for the use of "Football" in their name.
*****
A little late but if it's any consolation, we're not the only country that does. Canada and Australia I think call it that as well.
It's an abbreviation of association football. Both soccer and American football come from the same set of precursor sports, which became popular in upper-class English schools in the early 19th century and spread across the Atlantic.
All these games involved advancing a ball through an opponent's territory and scoring at the far end, but the rules varied from place to place. Ultimately, the version adopted as standard in the United Kingdom came to be known as association football, while another set of rules won out in the United States.
Thus the Americans took to calling their gridiron variety football, and referred to the British sport by the slang term soccer, derived from the soc in association.
I agreed but it will be spell Major League Futbol. The league has grown over the years and now more and more teams are building their own stadium. These stadiums are awesome. I like how they stick to the traditional European style look.
salamander337 Yea they are really nice. The good thing about the MLS is that its growing. This means the Concacaf Champions will soon be far more interesting lol
imo, i think it's because they (Americans) don't want people to get confuse between "american football" & "football" or soccer rather.. :)
9 years later im still mad about tje 2nd offside call
Congrats LA. Wish we had that success in NY... :(
Beckham Forever!!!! :D
Maybe somewhere down the road when soccer’s popularity in the US has grown and the second tier is being shown live on ESPN2, then MLS franchise owners will no longer consider relegation to be the death of their clubs. But for now, when so much money is being invested just to get in the front door of MLS, you’ve got to keep those 20 up at all costs.
If you notice, Beckham creates about 80% of goal scoring chances for LA Galaxy. I don't know how LA is gonna do when he leaves next year.
Glad I actually gave this a watch it's kinda interesting:) The defending is poor though.
Looking forward to a third!
If only the Lakers can pull through!
Robby keane does the best celebrations
LA FC Legend
Gareth Bale
Landon Donovan is sooooo awesome!!!!
david beckham was in the team. he is leaving LA Galaxy as well
Beckham the best
What happened to Omar Gonzalez?
PACHUCA in Mexico loan to ATLAS ...... He was such a good player here in LA
well done to a united legend!
LA GALAXY ALL DAY EVERYDAY!
Also, the ref could have easily played advantage on the second penalty call. Keane had already rounded the keeper and was clear on goal, so why not wait to see if he can tap it in first? Aside from today, the crucial penalty calls against Vancouver and Seattle could have been called either way. Don't get me wrong, I love Beckham and Keane, and the Galaxy fully deserved the championship, as they have the most money and talent by far, but this is just some food for thought.
What happened to calens headed ball saved off the line right after second half started
From a Brazilian point of view, is interesting to see how many sports divide the Americans attendance. Here, it's Soccer in first, and miles behind Voleyball in second (even with Brazil being the Worlds number 1 in voleyball, both Masculine and Feminine divisions). Hockey, American Football, Baseball are all amateur in here. Basketball maybe is the third one in Brazil, but is far from the Voleyball, which means that barely survive. F-1 was big here before Ayrton Sennas death, and MMA is growing
the mls strategy is that it's okay to lose the battles if you win the war and galaxy worked the mls system to perfection. put more focus on the second half of the season. let omar heal. don't overwork beckham so that he becomes more prone to injuries at the end of the season like what happened his first few years. let donovan and keane figure each other out. put themselves in position to win a championship and hopefully. win it.
Can we have a MLS Matchday 360 of this???!!
LA Galaxy and DC United - USA Power ....
Actually "FOOTBALL" originally referred to the fact that it was played on foot rather than horse. The name Soccer also originates in England in the first place....
Keane has the same celebration of 10 year ago in WC 2002
The thing I dislike is that both finals of Dynamo vs Galaxy were played in LA galaxy's home ...they shuld of played at houston too ,to make things fair...no wonder LA won both times
Keane had basically stopped playing and was looking at the ref for the pen
Landon Donovan, you should win the world cup for USA. That's where the talent comes.....Because beating Dynamo is also like mildstone then think of winning the world cup.
Only if they'd never heard of Paul McGrath or Liam Brady who were truly world class players!
The patriots of the mls
who
true
As usual, Beckham does absolutely nothing but gets all of the credit.
NYRB,please god!
Henry deserve one MLS title.
