Can I say..
I landed on this video because everything opened to Edge after my work lap top updated. Every now and again, this will happen and I will again, land on this video to help me default the changes.
I find myself here once again to help my colleague adjust her settings due to an update. Your video is clean, easy to understand, and straight to the point. As well - very appreciative of the second step and adjusting the settings in the internet settings.

Thank You So Much ! For my computer Your Fix still worked after I did a restart. So glad to see that Bing Logo in the top right corner of a PDF GONE !!! It is very unnerving to see a web browser symbol when you're opening a PDF with personal information. God Bless You Chard !

Thanks for your help. I had still been using Explorer until when I tried to open it it would open edge instead a month or 2 ago. I open files in there and I had been hating having to go to downloads to open them in acrobat. I finally got tired of it enough to do a search to fix this, your video was very helpful. In order for it to work, you MUST unpin MS Edge from the taskbar. Then you can search the file type at bottom of "default apps" settings page.. find pdf..and change it. Done.

Microsoft seems to be trying to force me to use their edge browser even immediately reverting back to edge after I change it to Adobe Reader. Anyone else seeing this?

Yeah, that's some sneaky $h!t from MS, for sure! You set the default handler and their browser doesn't respect it! I hate MS for doing this sort of thing. Good on ya for finding this little tweak!
