I wouldn’t have bought the red ones but you are killing it!! Congratulations! Your making me want to flip furniture to pay off debt!! Enjoy your videos
LOVE THE CHAIRS! Adding those legs did the trick for sure. I am always searching in thrift stores for mid century legs and have bought crappy pieces for very cheap just to use the legs and throw the rest away! Legs are expensive at the hardware stores so be on the look out! BTW, So proud of you for upping your prices! Way to go! Peggy
Love the red ones. The legs make all the difference! It would be fun to have a running total of your profit to see how long you've been doing this and how much debt you have taken down. So many people are in debt but they have a great eye, are creative and just need somewhere to start. So inspiring!
Omgoodness!! The green chair is my color!!! Love how you added the legs to the red chars. Really love you are a young lady eanting to pay off your debt and i love how your family is so supportive of you!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🕊️✌️😀😃😄😁🤗
It was great seeing you step outside your comfort zone! I used to work in sales, most notably at a rather high-end art gallery where it wasn’t uncommon for clients to spend $4,000 for a painting to hang on above the powder room toilet. I had to learn 2 essential things: 1. Never assume your client’s budget is the same as yours. 2. Beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder! Pay more attention to what your clients like than what you like. Ok a third thing ... never express surprise at what people like or are willing to pay. At least not in front of them. 🤣 You seem to be getting much more relaxed in front of the camera. 👍🏼
These are SUCH awesome things to learn and think about! Thanks for that insight - I will be keeping it in mind from now on when looking for new products! Thanks for watching & supporting...I am feeling more confident and relaxed as well (:
Those red chairs are awesome! You really have to have a vision with those types of pieces because other people really can’t see the potential they have. You’ve got a great eye!
Thank you! 🤗 They will definitely be eye catching! They’re in our living room until they come pick them up and they stand out for sure! Thanks for watching!
Just discovered your channel. NEVER would I have thought to remove that skirt on those kinds of chairs, but my re-selling-thrifting-estate-sale-loving hat is OFF to you! I was so skeptical when I watched your first video, but whoa does that make a difference. I didn't even mind the swivel unit being left on there...well done! Love that you have such a specific goal with these projects...very smart young woman!
I don’t know where you live but the cost of living must be a lot cheaper than where I live. Chairs that quality are never for those prices at any thrift store in my area. You are very fortunate to be able to flip such an awesome chair. Good for you!
Right. Lucky. I am in Southern Californina. Flipping is tough in a sense that many people aren doing it. Hard to find good peices at a good price to flip because they get snatched up literally in seconds.
This was my favorite video so far! I love that you spent less time talking and more on action! Your editing is getting better every time as well. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing!
That green chair is beautiful!! But those red chairs are gorgeous!! They would have looked great with my gray couch. Love all three!! Go dad with the shim idea, yes!!
I’m an MCM fan. I have an MCM chair and ottoman from my parents that I had reupholstered. When I had that done I told them to skip the skirt to show the legs. It just gives the furniture a cleaner look. Those red chairs aren’t me, but putting on those legs was a game changer, in my opinion. I would love them in a different fabric. Just found your channel today and loving it. Good for you paying off your debt!
Welcome aboard! (: Glad you’re here for the journey! I agree with you about the legs! Crazy how much revealing them changes the look of the chairs! Thanks for watching!
Two fantastic flips. That was a super deal with the red chairs, it took a little nerve to take them on.. That loan is going in the right direction. Well done girl👍
Love the chairs,,great for nature ,,modern farmhouse, with dark wood furniture,,brown leather couch, huge metal lamps nature scenic pictures and some birch tree forest wallpaper,,,they look so darn comfy, cozy, I’d love to find some like them myself,
Gotta say I think this is my first comment ever on RUclips. You're videos are my night time routine. The wife and I sell depression glass and antiques all day long and I do my share of furniture flipping. The one thing that stands out to me was your dad's help in fixing the red chairs. My father was the reason I got into furniture flipping. He was always the wood guy and I was always the metal guy. That moment of fast forward footage of your dad sitting in the garage with you and him watching you do the legs in the red chairs made me smile from ear to ear. I had that same.moment with my father and have cherished every moment he spent teaching me about wood and refinishing. Keep up the great work and I'll be watching every night. Just wish in my town we had more MCM chairs reasonable. My Goodwill's are a tad crazy on prices of older chairs.
Ohh this is so awesome 🤗 My dad helps me often when I need something to be fixed or we need to lift things, etc. My parents are my biggest supporters. 🤍 Thanks for watching!
Nice job DAD ! 👍🏼 😊 Also get a small banquet table to put the cushions on when you clean them, it’s a lot easier standing up, instead of cleaning them on the floor. 😊 Love the channel ! 😊
I love your flips!!! I just have 1 suggestion. You are calling your carpet/upholstery cleaner a “vacuum”. If someone doesn’t know better, they might think you only “vacuumed” your piece. Try calling it a “upholstery cleaner/scrubber”. So people will know you actually scrubbed the piece clean!! Keep the flips coming! I hope you can pay your loan off soon. You are a remarkable young lady!!
Hey Lauren! Love your videos! Could you possibly show us how you post your flips? Like what you put in the description of the post and stuff like that? I’m starting to flip furniture but I just never know what to put in the description.
Wow! Awesome transformation. When I first saw you mentioning chairs, I thought you were going to be replacing the fabric and stuff like that, which can also be done of course with amazing results, but your simple basics being so effective means it is FAR more profitable with much less input in terms of time too. Amazing!
I like the styles of both chairs but not the green velvet...now the red stripe I loved! I have 2 great chairs that i need to reupholster...I love watching and learninng
I have been flipping furniture for a couple years and have always stayed away from upholstered furniture, but I'm gonna try it. Great videos...I have now watched all of them. Great way to pay down your loan!
They all turned out great! I would have snapped those red chairs up if I lived near you. I do believe you could have gotten more for them. Great job as always.
Hi, Lauren I loved the red chairs. Great job on all of them. But I have a question. I would be worried to buy chairsfrom thrift store .because of any bugs ?
I just bought a royal blue velvet mcm chair and it has the wood legs on it which I am very excited about . Not sure if I’m keeping it or flipping it but I wanted to get your opinion . Should I leave the legs on it the light wood color or I had someone mention they would look good painted gold ?! Any thoughts ?
Such a total hippie chair🤪 get out the bell bottoms- no I have to do a reset to thrift something I don’t like- but yeah, now I would. PS. Dave Ramsey would love your paying the debt mindset. Go girl. Elizabeth
LOVE Dave Ramsey! I listen to his podcast when I Flip occasionally! He is actually one of the reasons I want to get rid of this debt! Thanks for watching!
Loved the red chairs. May I suggest you thrift a mid century modern end table redo it and use it for your staging? A circular round tray with paired 16 inch wood legs two toned dark on top and light wood legs would look much better than a country style stool. 1st thing I noticed is the stool not the chairs. My sister stages and she says simple yet stylish side tables matter lol.
Hey I just purchased one similar to yours they’re this emerald green I got 2 for $40 total ! Does need little work and one small tear on the arm maybe an inch , they not easy to find for some reason but any recommendations or what I could maybe list them for once I get them cleaned snd staged for pictures ? any advice as this is my first flips I’m going to be doing and easier for my storage situation at home for now ! Thank you
I would think you would have to lower the price because of the hole in the green chair! I love the velvet chairs! I want one for myself. I’m in the lookout for my first chair to flip! 🙂
I love seeing your helper load the furniture for you - he rocks. AND he is adorable! WOW I think you could of gotten more for that set. Maybe 400 Hey Lauren, where are you on your debt? We still have about 90k left to go.
I wouldn’t have bought the red ones but you are killing it!! Congratulations! Your making me want to flip furniture to pay off debt!! Enjoy your videos
It was a risk I had to take for $10!! (: Thanks for watching!
When you remove the cushion and see the fabric underneath covers the entire bottom....that’s quality! Love your videos.
Yes! Live finding ones in great condition! 😀 Thanks for watching!
You're on a roll! I love how comfortable you are in front of the camera....your enthusiasm shines through! Congrats!
Thank you so much!! This comment means a lot! I am feeling more confident each video in front of the camera! (: Thanks for watching!

So many people are in debt but they have a great eye, are creative and just need somewhere to start. So inspiring!
Yeah! Adding the legs gave it just enough height as well! Stay tuned for the end of the month! 😉 Thanks for watching!
Hi! You might want to up your price on chairs like the red ones. They are very desirable right now. Great find! and I love your videos too.
Super trendy for sure! I know now to try and get even more! Thanks for watching!

Red chairs came out 👏 amazing too!❤
Thanks!
They all came out GREAT! I would never have thought those red chairs would turn out so good.
Crazy! Thank you!
Wow! Those red chairs were some beautiful chairs. I love them & the green chair, too.
Those red chairs are awesome! You really have to have a vision with those types of pieces because other people really can’t see the potential they have. You’ve got a great eye!
Thanks! You’re so right! The vision for a final piece is VERY important and something that not everyone has! Thanks for watching!
I think the people possibly bought the red chairs to be the focal point of a room. They certainly would stand out. Great job, Lauren.
Thank you! 🤗 They will definitely be eye catching! They’re in our living room until they come pick them up and they stand out for sure! Thanks for watching!

You are such an inspiration. I'm 61 and still have a school loan!! Pathetic, but I'm going to start doing what you do and pay it down!
You got this! There’s no better time than the present! 🤗 Thanks for watching!
I really liked the plaid chairs. Job well done kudo's to dad for his wobbly chair fix👍. Keep going.
Yeah! He definitely has helped out a few times to save a project I am working on! Thanks for watching!
I love the red chairs and definitely would have purchased them.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed! Thanks for watching!

NE is pretty good about being fair priced! And always give it a shot to negotiate! Never hurts to ask! 😀 Thanks for watching!
I could never find such prices ether in my area too but I keep looking not giving up:)
@@nataliyaslone4208 Also be sure to check Facebook! Lots of people want to part with this type of furniture while others want it!

The red chairs are my favorite! Wish I lived near you so that I could buy one of your chairs.
That'd be awesome if my viewers were able to buy my furniture! Who knows - maybe in the future! (: Thanks for watching!
I love the two for one video!!! Thank you!!

It was a risk for sure! But definitely paid off! Thanks for watching!
You followed your instincts about the red chairs and it paid off. They are great with the MCM legs
I absolutely would've bought them! My favorites so far ❤️ Love your videos ❤️

You have such vision..something rare! I liked the green chair flip..reminds me of one my grandmother had in her house!

Haha, he helped me out a lot fixing the legs! Thanks for the tip & thanks for watching!
Those red chairs looked great with the MCM legs! Good call. Congrats!!
Thanks! I thought so too! (: Thanks for watching, Amy!
You did a great job. I suggest you put fresh dust cover back on underneath. Gives a finished look.
Thanks for the tip & thanks for watching!
I loved the red chairs!
They were something else! 😀 Thanks for watching!
Yeah, good tip...that’s why I like to include the part about spraying and dirty water, etc. I will keep this in mind though! Thanks for watching! (:
OMGosh! I love when you flip these chairs. I loved the golden ones and I love these red ones! I live in the wrong area. lol
Awe thanks - glad you enjoy! Thanks for watching!

Fantastic flip! Great profit! Have a wonderful day! Christine 🇨🇦
Thanks, Christine!
They all turned out great! I would have snapped those red chairs up if I lived near you. I do believe you could have gotten more for them. Great job as always.
I believe I could as well! But I just wasn’t sure! Couldn’t believe how fast they sold! Thanks for watching!
Nice job! You should show the dirty water pour out
velvet is one fabric that has nap and that is what you are referring to when you show, with your hand, the unidirectional lay of the velvet fibers
Thanks for the insight & thanks for watching!
They turned out beautiful
Thanks for watching!
You find the best chairs 👍🏻 I never find anything like this where I live 😢
Great flips... loved the green chair. 😊
Wasn't it pretty!? Thanks for watching!
Bedbugs! I never buy upholstered used furniture.
Great idea to upcycle anything !!!
Beautiful!
Yes - be VERY CAREFUL! I make sure to check for things like that and that’s another reason why I clean them! Thanks for watching!
@@FurnitureFlippingTeacher Can you make a video how you check for bed bugs before you buy a piece?
That dark spots when you rub the fabric is called "nap". Looks like it's easy money.
Takes only a bit of time! Thanks for watching!

Thanks! That's the goal - love your guys' channel! (: Thanks for watching!

Thanks, Martin! 😀

I want to do this flip so bad 😭 just haven't found any of those chairs in my town yet
Hopefully soon 🤞🏻
Awesome videos!!💖

Hi, Lauren I loved the red chairs. Great job on all of them. But I have a question. I would be worried to buy chairsfrom thrift store .because of any bugs ?
The striped chairs went from ugly to super chic just by changing the legs! I would've bought those!!
Yeah - the legs changed the whole look of the chairs! Thanks for watching! (:
I just bought a royal blue velvet mcm chair and it has the wood legs on it which I am very excited about . Not sure if I’m keeping it or flipping it but I wanted to get your opinion . Should I leave the legs on it the light wood color or I had someone mention they would look good painted gold ?! Any thoughts ?
Love your videos!
Thanks for watching, Joni!
haha I am new to this and I find it funny how adjusting just one leg works, but hey that's doable
Hi, when flipping chairs like the green velvet one, do you do anything to the wooden legs? Like a light sand or put on a wax to protect the wood.
Loved the red chairs. May I suggest you thrift a mid century modern end table redo it and use it for your staging? A circular round tray with paired 16 inch wood legs two toned dark on top and light wood legs would look much better than a country style stool. 1st thing I noticed is the stool not the chairs. My sister stages and she says simple yet stylish side tables matter lol.
we have since done this 🤗 great suggestion! thank you!
Was just writing “what’s the big deal with these chairs???”
And then 1:27 happened. You’re a mind reader.
Looks lovely

I would think you would have to lower the price because of the hole in the green chair! I love the velvet chairs! I want one for myself. I’m in the lookout for my first chair to flip! 🙂
Luckily it was barely noticeable! I made sure to mention it in the listing so the buyer was aware! Thanks for watching!
