I've only been to this shopping centre once and although I didn't ride them I remember seeing those lifts from the car park into the shopping centre and also that fire exit at 06:34. Thing that I remember about this car park was there didn't seem to be stairs directly from the car park into the shopping centre.
The Galleries is being stripped out currently so the last 2 lifts will no longer exist. The 3 Schindlers in the main centre only 1 is working. Don’t know about gated lifts.
You were actually trespassing on Private Land and entering the Goods lifts which are NOT for public use. This was in the Service Area and you should not have been there, which is why the doors would not open for you. They are locked for a reason!
That's why this channel is demonetarised by You Tube; same as all the urban climbing channels have been demonetarised ;they're breaking the law by entering the premises and You Tube were wide open to prosecution paying out to these channels. It's totally ended urban climbing videos, I expect this craze will end too (or has it already?) with no cash coming in

Those modernised schindler lifts in the Welly centre were originally put in sometime in the late 70s

These lifts are schindler 5400 MRL but they are built in the 2005

No-one's forcing you to watch videos of going around committing no crimes & causing you no harm. You don't even have any videos on your channel.
