I used curves a lot. But I found that making right-angle runs, provide a more generous length without having to mess around with curves. For example I have a 2200mm tall TS8 with 19” rack mount kit loaded with many devices which come around the sides to a backplate opposite. Curves became too much trouble so I used straight lines & the < & > arrows to make wide right angle routes. In reality I end up with a little bit too much wire but at the exact same for all wires which results in a half decent extra length on each wire satisfying a customer specification for enough wire to move terminations by a few terminals in the field.
