  • The connection point pattern definitions in EPLAN are the wire termination point of your device. Having them defined comes with a lot of benefits for the shop floor. You can use the routing functionality to get the exact length, send data to Smart Wiring Application or process the wires with a wire confection machine like Rittals Wire Terminal.
In Todays Video I am giving you a full step-by-step tutorial on how to create Connection Point Patterns.

What is the best way to update existing components already in a panel with the newly created connection point pattern? I have tried update part placement and update parts.

I can not get my coonection points to snap to any edge or corner on the part. I also do not show a green mounting plane like you. Everything else works fine.
