@@jayadam3423 you might be able to get away with using some washers in there but that's really strange.. might be worth calling the manufacturer and asking them too?
LOL well I'd say swap the bushings but keep the factory shifter and that'll tighten it up a bit. Also that's the best phrasing I've seen in a long while!

After a day or two it settled in and its perfect now!

What are the bushings on the sides made of? I've got the same shifter but it didn't come with bushings like that.
They're a rubber coated metal spacer on either side of the shifter itself. It should've come with them with the shifter so that's confusing.

It's the sleeve from the factory shifter; you need to use the sleeve, or else it'll rattle and feel horrible.
Is there a way to get something with less play than the stock shifter but without it looking like a dick in cold water?
