rankin and bass tried to do something that just wasn’t going to work. this wasn’t their best film. i think they could’ve done something better with this, and putting frosty in stop motion just doesn’t do it for me. i also think that they should’ve kept frosty in his original 1969 design. i’m very confused on why he’s wearing a scarf because wouldn’t the warmth make him melt? and they also should’ve brought karen back because she was such a significant character in the first film, and plus suzanne davidson was still young, so they could’ve pulled it off.

i hated this. this was rudolph and hermey's song, and rudolph just sang their song with another. that is like, total betrayal??? i miss hermey. poor hermey. he DOESN'T deserve this!!
How come in this movie Rudolph has to admit his guilt because when he says he stole the money and gave it to Sam spangles that was the truth I don't know what the truth actually was it sounded like he just said the truth and if he did why didn't frosty just melt
Rudolph was mislead and tricked. He didn't know he stole money or the man he gave the money to was Sam Spangles who was dressed as an officer until Winterbolt told him about it, then blackmailed him that if he does tell the truth. He will have Frosty and his family melt. So he had to say that he stole it and gave it to Sam Spangles. He did it to save his friend and was willing to take the blame for anything.
Maybe Billie decided to do a different take on Rudolph from the different design? I guess we'll never know. But yeah, I prefer her original Rudolph voice too. :)
