You will be very happy with your choice. I have had this bike (well, 2020 model) for 3 years now. This is ultimate do it all machine. I use it in London, Sunday rides and trips to Alps, Pyrenees etc. Never got boring, it can ride dynamically, but equally you may just enjoy slow rides. I did alpine gravel roads, some off roading and travel on motorways, all with no issues what so ever. I think Triumph nailed it, especially with the updated model. I don't think you will miss your previous bikes.
Congratulations with the new Tiger. I think it is an excelent choice. One do it all bike is better than several bikes in the garage than doesnt get used.
I honestly think you won't miss your Speed Twin. You clearly had great fun customizing it to your preferences, then started focusing on the Honda Transalp, customizing that. However, you seem to keep gravitating back towards Triumph, which may be a tribute to Triumph Algarve and their presumably stellar customer service. I know you have the added incentive of keeping your channel relevant, as well. So, the Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro, despite a few niggles, is so you at the moment. I look forward to your videos of adventures with it, and the next plot/ bike twist in 12 to 24 months... 🙂
Excellent choice. I took delivery of the first red 2024 900 GT Pro from Triumph Centro in Portugal several weeks ago and love it. The RP was a bit tall for me and I'll stay on the tarmac with this bike so it's the right Tiger for me. Enjoy yours and maybe I'll see you down in the Algarve one day.
Good choice sir. I’ve had mine for just over 2 years and still love it. Not exactly cheap but you get so many options standard I feel it is good value. I have the top box on mine which never comes off as it is too useful, although it is a bit dorky looking. It is nice having the one key for the ignition and boxes. Good luck with it!
Excellent choice and colour looks great. I don't think you will miss the speed twin as you have been riding it so little. I think what you have done makes sense, for your riding enjoyment.
Great decision! Two years ago, I was torn between keeping my café bike (BMW R NineT) and getting a Tiger 900 Rally Pro, or selling the R NineT and just getting an R1250GS (current model at the time). I chose the GS, and then regretted it, buying back my R NineT and keeping the GS. Being a bit over budget, I ended up selling the GS two years later and keeping the R NineT. I’ve been thinking about that Tiger 900 ever since. Very happy to see you on it!
Congrats and I made the same choice for many of your similar reasons, though I went with the GT Pro. My of roading is limited to navigation mistakes and I don't want to turn around. I've owned two GS's in the past but when comparing the GS to the Tiger, I did not find $10k more bike in the GS. That's the approximate difference here in the US. The same with the bigger 1200 Tiger.
I have subscribed yesterday purely on the news (or my gut feeling) that it’s going to be a Tiger! Watched you previously every now and again- always enjoyed listening to your thoughts, sir (I don’t think you ever mentioned your name, sorry). Plus, those scenic bright scenery of Portugal makes me feel better in unsettled weathers of Ireland. Thanks and best of luck with the new bike. Looking forward to some good videos!
I have a Speed Twin 1200 2020 in grey, thinking of something similar but moving to a Guzzi V85tt. I have tried the Tiger 900 on the off-road course in Malaga and really liked it, but just not sure on ‘the look’. After I’d give it back for the day and hop on to my ST, what a fun ride it was and I just don’t know if I wanna get rid of it. However, that Tiger was very capable, did stuff beyond my dreams, so if I see a good sale you never know. However I can’t help but look into 20-30 years in the future and just imagine I’d wish I’d kept it.
So glad you got this bike. Your reaction when you raised the seat and found at last a bike that fitted you was exactly how I felt sitting in the showroom on one. I will watch your videos with great interest on the Tiger as I recover next week from a heart valve operation. The comparisons to the Transalp will be very interesting...comfort especially. This bike excites me so much more than the Transalp, and I feel it is worth the extra cost given it is so well equipped as standard. I understand your reluctance over the bmw due to how it is viewed, but also I feel the Triumph is much better value for money. Just don't do too good a job with tempting me to get one as I have 3 months of recovery ahead before I can ride again!
Thanks, Adrian. It is significantly nicer than the Transalp, that much I can feel already, especially as I still have the Honda in my garage. All the best with your operation. See you on the other side :)
Excellent! With the options it has along with the killer triple power and sound, the tft and you can't go wrong . Little things like the backlit controls, the quickshifter all good.
Good choice! Years ago I had a Tiger 800. I could cruse at 75 to 80 mph all day on the interstate here in the U.S. in comfort. I'm sure the 900 is even better.
You are right about not buying the Stelvio. Same situation in Holland. Only a few dealers and even less experienced mechanics. Enjoy your Tiger and look forward to your next videos.

Good choice... Stelvio should also be top heavier, and that resale value note is spot on! Congratulations! Hope it takes you (safely) everywhere you point that wheel. Also it is a triumph, temu sells a lot of cheap plastic enclosures to hold the old drips
Congratulations - I guessed it and thought it could be the Tiger 900. I can understand you very well. I'm also one of those bikers who are always on the hunt for their next future ex-bike. There are now 54 bikes in total and there's still no end so far. However I have given up the illusion of finding the perfect all-in-one bike so there are always two in my garage. A T-Max Techmax 2023 and an MV Agusta 800 Brutale. Together the two represent 85% of what I'm looking for. For the last 15% maybe a Speed 400 but somehow you don't really need it - except for cleaning and looking at it on a Sunday morning... Have fun with the new one and always have a good ride RM...
Did you make the wrong choice? What I know is I’ve had my 2024 Tiger RP since March and I can’t keep off it. One of the best bikes I’ve owned in 50 years of racing and riding motorcycles. Congrats on your new bike. Hope you enjoy it as much as I am.
I think your choice is spot on ! A great bike has more than enough power, fantastic handling and great looks the only thing I wish it was a shaft drive but is not the end of the world , The shaft or chain both had advantages and disadvantages! I own a tiger 1200 xca gen 3.5 and I absolutely love it ! Nice noise from triple and t crank sounds even better .wish you all the best !
Thanks. I'm actually not a fan of shaft drives. They're expensive, mechanically inefficient and heavy. It was one thing that put me off the Tiger 1200 :)
@@RocketMan_Moto I prefer shaft drive as I'm doing long trips usually 3500 to 4500 miles at once safe me adjusting and cleaning dirty chain 😉 I buy used bikes so don't mind paying little extra as I'm already saving tons of cash against new bike so is not that bad , usually weight is not a problem for me as is down low ,shaft usually are used in big powerful engines and heavy bikes anyways so no matter for me it's just what I prefer and suits my needs better if we talk about big bikes for touring. I have other bikes for off-road use with chain drive but for touring and day to day commute deffo shaft is better for me .
Super glad you got the Tiger! Can you do a really in depth comparison between the Tiger and the Trans Alp before it gets sold and goes? I’m most interested in wind protection as well as the leg room (seat to leg ratio)
I'd have been interested in your views on the Stelvio as I would seriously consider one if only there were a reasonable number of accessible dealers... your comments on the competency/capabilities of "multi-franchise" dealerships resonate with me, and are why I do not take my 1250RT to the "local" dealer - I simply do not believe that they can be "experts" on all of those makes, especially since manufacturers these days are continually "tweaking" and modifying - unlike in the old days when the same model would be current for years. I now ride 75 miles to a dealer in whom I have reasonable confidence (so far!). You may think 75 miles is not too bad, but it does rain all the time here!
I’m looking forward to your impressions of this machines capabilities in not too extreme off road conditions, particularly if things turn wet & muddy. Hopefully it should handle the going slightly better than my Honda goldwing 😊
Congratulations. As a non biker (well not just yet) I'd have automatically stayed with the Honda simply because of perceived build quality and more importantly there seems to be dealerships just about everywhere. Also too, I suspect it's easier to sell a used Honda than any other bike brand rule of thumb. Importantly, you're reviews on both the Honda 500 & 750 are really glowing when all is said and done. Enjoy the new machine, looking forward to updates.
Congrats. Those are great bikes. Got a Tiger 850 sport this year. Its a very good ride indeed. Also I've read a few times that top part of OEM crash bars (this bike does not have those installed) tend to break the frame of the bike on a heavy fall. Actually thought that you are going for the triumph, since I sense a lot of love for triumph coming from you :D But a tiger 1200 would be my guess.
Thanks. I'm actually not a fan of shaft drives. They're expensive, mechanically inefficient and heavy. It was one thing that put me off the Tiger 1200 :)
I've owned both and say it's a tradeoff. If you're logging a lot of long, multi-day trips, a shaft drive requires almost zero attention as opposed to carrying lube and cleaning items for the chain. Messy stuff even when done carefully. For everyday normal riding, I don't miss the shaft at all.
Good choice RM, I’m looking forward to learning about it. I have a GSX-8S and the Tiger is a candidate for next bike - also the Transalpine comparison I will relish cheers!
I have a tiger 800, had a demo ride on te 900 and I didn’t like the drumming in the motorbloc. Will keep to my tiger 800. Going to the Ardèche and the Cévennes next. Maybe also a little of the Pyrenees.
I bought exactly the same bike last week ('24 Tiger 900 Rally Pro Khaki green) and traded in my BMW R1250RT. 53Nm less but also 50kg less 😀Hopefully I get my bike next week and it will be dry. The 2 things which sold me over are the great QS (especially compared to the BMW boxers) and the Yamaha M1 sound👌. Have fun with your bike! Cheers from The Netherlands
It seems to becfun buying and selling bikes and spending much time thinking about it. I have got a transalp like yours and I always feel that I should drive more. But since last june, when I got it, I was going about 5000 km which is not nothing. I think of keeping it for ever!
I got mine about the same time and did less than 6000km. It's a great bike and I really enjoyed my year with it. I only really sold it because I wanted fewer vehicles in my garage :)
I think the Tiger is a good choice. Guess it ticks all of your boxes. Regarding motor power: I have to admit that I still struggle with that on my bike. I tend to find it somewhat difficult to limit myself to the allowed speed limit, it feels kind of boring. I always get the "feeling" from the Yamaha that it wants to go faster - something like to an additional 20-30 km/h would be alright with it (granted the allowed tolerance is already spent). But this is far too risky here, as speed is controlled on a regular basis. So...I have to limit myself to not twist the throttle too much. Although...from time to time it still happens. Just can't help myself. But up to now...I was always lucky.
I am sure you will enjoy. I got my new Tiger 900 GT PRO a few weeks ago ( I only ride on streets - never offroad) and I am very happy so far. Had a Street Triple before...which was nice but the Tiger is much more comfortable for me ( already 60+)
Sounds as if you made the same sort of switch as I did. The Speed Twin & Street Triple are fabulous, but adventure bikes are just so much easier to live with :)
I am so eagerly awaiting a video about your Transalp vs ur Triumph. Can't help but wonder how different those 2 are. And which is better And at what. Btw.. Back here in specific ( hot) parts of India.. Triumph engine scorches and can't be ridden in slow city traffic despite protection And triumph sales and service centers have failed miserably forcing triumph to outsource both sales and servicing to bajaj ktm group who are in line to fix things by 2025/26. These are the 2 reasons why I didn't even bother test riding triumph before I bought the Transalp.. Also if it's available in ur country then pls do test ride the new bunch of BMW 900 and 800 and 700 gs and compare it to the Transalp. The new crop of bmw gs will grace us only sometime after July 2024
Congrats on your new bike.Hope it will give you the happy rides you seek! In my opinion ,you made the best choice. I would do the same and i consider it as a total v.f .m bike especially for the equipment provided. I also cound't agree more with the comment you ve mentioned "another boring gs rider"! Have fun!
Easy guess RM.. although the stelvio would be an amazing bike and stunning to look at.. for me a very unknown at the minute from a long term point of view and build quality 👌 You chose well
A man with one bike is a happy rider, a man with more bikes is a somewhat unhappy collector. I hope you have a nice time with the Tiger, I’d quite fancy one myself if it wasn’t so pricy. I think it will be between it and the Africa Twin in a few years when I summon the money and courage to tell the wife.
I actually wrote a short article about the new 900 in the latest issue of the Triumph Owners Motorcycle club of Swedens magazine. I’m torn between the Rally Pro and the Guzzi V100. Totally different bikes. But either I only make travels on tarmac or I go to a coarse learning how to go off road.
I can understand your dilemma. The biggest problem I have with the V100 or Stelvio is the poor dealer network. If I want to ride across to Morocco, for example, how easy is it going to be to find spares for a Moto Guzzi in Casablanca?
I recently purchased a new 2024 V-Strom 1050. It is an amazing motorcycle in the sense that it checks ALL the boxes. Ride and review one if you ever get a chance; I expect you'll be pleased.
Well done mate very happy for you. A wise choice great bike I believe. I was obviously pushing for the Guzzi! But I know what you mean regarding after sales support. Love the colour happy riding. Regards from 🇦🇺
Great choice..... hope the sometimes tardy Triumph main dealer customer service doesn't spoil your enjoyment. From a minter 2009 15 Aniversary SE Speed Triple owner. The Triumph spare part availability isn't always up to very much at times. But I love their bikes. 😂 Just hit 60 mark and looking to downsize to a middle weight soon......
I got it wrong, but I'll be the first to admit that's a nice looking bike, hope you enjoy it... my local dealer has a big banner outside of it announcing its arrival. I should probably go and have a closer look.
Congrats! Enjoy the new bike and pls tell us how compare with the transalp! I’m looking to buy an adventure bike but I can’t decide which one….. Ducati V2S CF Moto 800MT explorer Honda Transalp Triumph Tiger BWM F800GS Honda NC750X Benelli TRX I really can’t decide….
Congrats on the new bike ... Sad you had to get rid of the speed twin, but I get it and this 900cc triple is a very exciting engine as well. I´m quite curious to know if there will be any adds on, like you did with the ST or this is it .... just minor details. By the way, I´m having a great time with my recently acquired T120 Black and It´s a all around bike for me for my use. Hope to stick to this for 10 years .. Cheers !!
I get the feeling you will enjoy the Tiger 900. I think you will miss the Speed Twin to some degree. You seemed to fancy that bike. But.. as you say if you aren't riding it, its a lot to justify. I hope you get lots of satisfaction and use out of the Tiger. Nothing wrong with the Transalp but as you say, the Tiger is also a do it all bike but just a bit special. A bike that is more pleasurable to look back at when you've parked it.
Subscribed. Congrats on your new bike. I appreciate your objective reviews. I consider myself a person who values objectivity very much. However, I've done something very impulsive which is not in my nature. I've bought sight unseen Daytona 660 which I should receive by the end of April. I'm looking forward to your review of that bike. I have a bit different approach towards riding and my ideal bike type seems to start to materialize in arrival of new comfortable sport bikes (GSX-8R, Aprilia 660, Daytona 660...). Happy riding.
Great choice. The reviews I've seen of the new Daytona are very positive. I owned a Trident a couple of years ago and the engine is a peach. And it's been reworked on the Daytona, so should be even better. Which colour did you go with?
@@RocketMan_Moto I've ordered it in white. It gives the bike cleanest vibe - at least on pictures. I'm planning to purchase frame guards as well as swingarm bobbins and eventually a quickshifter when it becomes available. I will keep the bike in its stock form.
Good choice especially if you do go off-road once in a while. Another Triumph at least 😉. Will you miss the Speed Twin? Sometimes, yes. The Speed Twin is a real looker and rips when you want it to. Dealer availability and serviceability cannot be overlooked when choosing a new bike.
Smart of you not going with the R1300GS, since there are first year production problems, etc. since I’m a BMW guy, I rode the 13 and was not impressed. That’s saying something since I own 4 BMWs. . Waiting for the R1300 GSA. Best of luck with the new Triumph.
I did think of waiting to see what the GSA is going to look like, but it's going to be even more expensive than the GS, so what was the point (for me).
great choice. It was also on my list along with the new gsa900, but I went for the KTM 890 SMT in the end. As I don't ever go off road, it suits me much better...
Fantastic choice, I really think these look stunning. I had a tiger 800 previously, now a 2014 GS. I have been eyeing up the GT pro to replace it down the line (although chain maintenance in Scotland 😢). Though I have to say the rally pro looks way better, especially in the green you chose. The GT pro colours are very boring. I really struggle to keep a bike for more than a year. It's my toy and it's bloody fun shopping about and making them your own 😁 Looking forward to more videos about your new bike!

Totally get that👍😊
Super glad you got the Tiger! Can you do a really in depth comparison between the Tiger and the Trans Alp before it gets sold and goes? I’m most interested in wind protection as well as the leg room (seat to leg ratio)
Yes, I've already begun preparations for a comparison video :)
It's raining here all week, too! The main thing the Stelvio is lacking is a dealer network worthy of the name :(
Aà
Good choice. Lots of great bikes available these days.
There certainly are :)
Excellent choice! And I’ll take falling sand over falling rain at the moment please. 😊
Thanks. If it makes you feel any better, it's raining here now. At least it's washed the sand away :)
I’m looking forward to your impressions of this machines capabilities in not too extreme off road conditions, particularly if things turn wet & muddy. Hopefully it should handle the going slightly better than my Honda goldwing 😊
I have a friend who frequently takes his BMW K1600 off road! Nothing crazy, but still…😳
Congratulations.
Thanks :) Honda is always a safe choice. Ride safe
Congratulations on the new bike!
Thanks :)
Congrats. Those are great bikes.
Got a Tiger 850 sport this year. Its a very good ride indeed. Also I've read a few times that top part of OEM crash bars (this bike does not have those installed) tend to break the frame of the bike on a heavy fall.
Actually thought that you are going for the triumph, since I sense a lot of love for triumph coming from you :D
But a tiger 1200 would be my guess.
Thanks. No, I'm not a fan of upper crash bars on any bikes, tbh
Excellent choice, I'm a fan of the Tenere myself, however the Tiger seems to have it all, other than shaft drive, which not many have.
👍😊
Good choice RM, I’m looking forward to learning about it. I have a GSX-8S and the Tiger is a candidate for next bike - also the Transalpine comparison I will relish cheers!
Thanks :) Already made a start on the Transalp vs Tiger video ;)
Great choice! Seems like the perfect blend of the two bikes you had 👍
Thanks, that was what I was aiming for and so far, yes it seems to :)
I have a tiger 800, had a demo ride on te 900 and I didn’t like the drumming in the motorbloc. Will keep to my tiger 800. Going to the Ardèche and the Cévennes next. Maybe also a little of the Pyrenees.
Yes, the 800's engine was wonderfully smooth. Enjoy your trip :)
Very smart bike - well done - looking forward to some onboard footage.
Steve
Thanks, Steve. Crap weather forecast all this week (yes, even in the Algarve...), but I'll be posting vids asap :)
Great. You too! Rain all week here, unfortunately🌧️😩
I had the 900 GTPro for 2 years, absolutely loved it. Just replaced it with a Street Triple 765 R.
I had a 765RS about 7 years ago. A fabulous scalpel of a bike! Enjoy :)
Bonne nouvelle et bon super choix cette fusion des 2 motos en 1 seule qui couvrent de nombreux domaines que tu recherches.
Merci beaucoup :)
I know the Tiger isn’t the most exciting bike ever, but I’m looking for greater comfort and versatility now😊👍
@@RocketMan_Moto Understandable (I also took that route). Looking forward to learn more about the Tiger.
More videos in the pipeline😊
It will be interesting following your experience on the Triumph. I still have the Trans Alp and a Street Twin.
Ah, a similar garage to me then (previously). Transalp vs Tiger video coming soon :)
Same here, got a new 2024 900 gt pro to replace my 2021 gt pro 2 weeks ago. Great bike, and being in my late 60's, offroad riding is well behind me!
Enjoy👍😊
Ural with stealth sidecar option and optional smoke launcher.
Edit because I forgot the front and rear radar for detecting sharks with lasers.
Haha :)
Thank God you didn’t buy a BMW gs In my opinion those bikes are getting so big they’re starting to look ridiculous
🎉😊. Way more smiles than the 1200. Why do you need a heavy bike now the Tracer and Tiger 900 are around. Lighter, fast, more fun. Hope you enjoy it.
Yes, the 1200's time had come. No regrets :)
I kind of thought you might have went with the Ducati Desert X but that Tiger is a seriously good looking bike. Congrats!
Thanks :)
I am so eagerly awaiting a video about your
Transalp vs ur Triumph.
Can't help but wonder how different those 2 are.
And which is better
And at what.
Btw.. Back here in specific ( hot) parts of India..
Triumph engine scorches and can't be ridden in slow city traffic despite protection
And triumph sales and service centers have failed miserably forcing triumph to outsource both sales and servicing to bajaj ktm group who are in line to fix things by 2025/26.
These are the 2 reasons why I didn't even bother test riding triumph before I bought the Transalp..
Also if it's available in ur country then pls do test ride the new bunch of
BMW 900 and 800 and 700 gs and compare it to the Transalp.
The new crop of bmw gs will grace us only sometime after July 2024
I had an F900XR a couple of years ago which had the same engine as the new 900GS. I sold it after 5 months...
Very well articulated analysis that measured the pros and cons of multiple options. Thank you for sharing, very informative.
Thanks, James :)
Congrats on the new bike RM 👍
Thanks :)
Have fun!
Thank you :)
Congrats on the new Tiger!
Thanks :)
Easy guess RM.. although the stelvio would be an amazing bike and stunning to look at.. for me a very unknown at the minute from a long term point of view and build quality 👌
You chose well
Thanks :)
I'll use that :)
Very smart. Look forward to hearing more about it. Curious how good the screen is...
Thanks :) Screen not quite as tall as on the Transalp, but I'm taking my time before I start ordering bits for it
Good choice. I thought the GS, but I was wrong. Fair play and hope you enjoy. Cheers!
Thanks :)
Such a Beautiful bike!
Huge congratulations from this here Swedish Triumph friend.
Thanks, Tom😊
I actually wrote a short article about the new 900 in the latest issue of the Triumph Owners Motorcycle club of Swedens magazine.
I’m torn between the Rally Pro and the Guzzi V100. Totally different bikes. But either I only make travels on tarmac or I go to a coarse learning how to go off road.
I can understand your dilemma. The biggest problem I have with the V100 or Stelvio is the poor dealer network. If I want to ride across to Morocco, for example, how easy is it going to be to find spares for a Moto Guzzi in Casablanca?
Never been live before, how exciting
It's not live actually, sorry
Congrats! They (the various reviewers)do say the tiger is the optimum adventure bike. Seems you made a wise choice. Enjoy!
Hope so :)
I know you’re going to love this bike!
Thanks. I hope so👍😊
Yep..good on you...great bike..love the colour...👍
Thanks👍😊
I recently purchased a new 2024 V-Strom 1050. It is an amazing motorcycle in the sense that it checks ALL the boxes. Ride and review one if you ever get a chance; I expect you'll be pleased.
It’s on my list but the Suzuki dealer in Faro never has one on demonstration😟
Excellent, excellent, excellent choice!
Thanks, Pistol😊
Congrats mate !!
Thanks :)
Well done mate very happy for you. A wise choice great bike I believe. I was obviously pushing for the Guzzi!
But I know what you mean regarding after
sales support. Love the colour happy riding.
Regards from 🇦🇺
Thanks, David😊
I did not go the rally route for the height. I do hope you enjoy the refinements as much as i do, pure enjoyment!
Thanks. I get that, the RP is a very tall bike.
Proper bike, the white frame reminds me of the Duc 851 I once had. Looking fwd to the upcoming vids.
Thanks :)
Triumph is one of the best motorbike dealers in the Algarve, hence my patronage :)
@@RocketMan_Moto Enjoy 😉
Thanks😊
So, have fun and stay safe.
Cheers.
Thanks :)
I got it wrong, but I'll be the first to admit that's a nice looking bike, hope you enjoy it... my local dealer has a big banner outside of it announcing its arrival. I should probably go and have a closer look.
Thanks. Give it a try, you might be smitten😊👍
Congrats! Enjoy the new bike and pls tell us how compare with the transalp! I’m looking to buy an adventure bike but I can’t decide which one…..
Ducati V2S
CF Moto 800MT explorer
Honda Transalp
Triumph Tiger
BWM F800GS
Honda NC750X
Benelli TRX
I really can’t decide….
Thanks :) Nice dilemma to have, though
Congrats on the new bike ... Sad you had to get rid of the speed twin, but I get it and this 900cc triple is a very exciting engine as well. I´m quite curious to know if there will be any adds on, like you did with the ST or this is it .... just minor details. By the way, I´m having a great time with my recently acquired T120 Black and It´s a all around bike for me for my use. Hope to stick to this for 10 years .. Cheers !!
Thanks, Renato :) I won't be doing much to the Tiger, but there will be an accessory video at some point soon. Enjoy your T120, lovely machine :)
Congratulations !
Thanks :)
Great decision 👏🏻 👌🏻 Delighted for you, wishing you miles of smiles 😃
Greetings and Gratitude from Ireland 🇮🇪 .
Regards,
Tony K.
Thanks, Tony :)
Well done , I have a speed twin and a tiger gt pro, of course you will miss your speed twin , you already do I imagine. Peace and happiness to you .
Thanks. No regrets so far. The ST was a beautiful machine, but I hardly ever rode it😟
Love the white frame. Make a great contrast with the green. Will you be adding the crash bars as well?
I'm not a fan of upper crash bars. I have ordered some Barkbuster handguards instead, like I did with my Transalp :)
Exactly. The ST was a lovely bike to own and tweak, but I was riding it less and less. I don't miss it really
Best colour. White would be my preference, too. Enjoy!
What a beautiful bike! Congrats!
Thanks :)
Woohoo :D I guessed it. Oh well, may you enjoy your new toy.. Hopefully at least as long as the Transalp.
Thanks :)
Love the colour, great choice of bike.
Thanks :)
Yes, Triumph has one of the best dealerships in the Algarve👍😊
Congrats! Awesome bike!!
Thanks👍😊
Smart of you not going with the R1300GS, since there are first year production problems, etc. since I’m a BMW guy, I rode the 13 and was not impressed. That’s saying something since I own 4 BMWs. . Waiting for the R1300 GSA. Best of luck with the new Triumph.
I did think of waiting to see what the GSA is going to look like, but it's going to be even more expensive than the GS, so what was the point (for me).
Have you heard they are going to release a R1200 GS with the old motor & a 21” front wheel as a 2025 model later this year ?
No, hadn’t heard that😳
Love the white and green!
Thanks, Ronnie😊👍
great choice. It was also on my list along with the new gsa900, but I went for the KTM 890 SMT in the end. As I don't ever go off road, it suits me much better...
The 890 is a brilliant engine :)
@@RocketMan_Moto For some reason my bike doesn't like to go slow...
Haha, I bet😎
Fantastic choice, I really think these look stunning. I had a tiger 800 previously, now a 2014 GS. I have been eyeing up the GT pro to replace it down the line (although chain maintenance in Scotland 😢). Though I have to say the rally pro looks way better, especially in the green you chose. The GT pro colours are very boring.
I really struggle to keep a bike for more than a year. It's my toy and it's bloody fun shopping about and making them your own 😁
Looking forward to more videos about your new bike!
Thanks :) Yes, I also think the GT looks a it bland next to the RP
