I lost a good friend almost twenty years ago and your rationale for changing motorcycles so often reminds me of him. He would go as far a color matching all his riding gear then tweaking the bikes with every farkle and get the bike just right.....then sell it all including the gear. His reasoning always made sense then two or three months later he would buy a new bike and gear and start the process all over. Yeah I guess one of the biggest reasons I watch your channel is that you remind me of the buddy who passed away.👍👍
haha, I just made a very similar move- decided to sell my Honda 919 'super'naked which I dearly love hand said I would never sell but bought a '23 vstrom 1050 non-DE. It's really good and has all the nice things, even a main stand.

I can really relate to this thread. My issue is space, I live in the inner city, I've got a scooter, a bike (GSX8s) and a car and it all just squeezes into my garage with some strategic angling of machines. When you walk through my garage, it's more of a twisting exercise than I'd like. I'm looking for that unicorn bike also, ideally I'd even do away with the scooter, but that might not be wise.
I can relate to the space issue (although our current house does have a large garage) and totally get the scooter thing - not sexy, but I couldn’t do without ours
The obvious reason would be a BMW Boxer GS. But, maybe you will surprise us. Maybe, you will want somthing more exotic, and dashing, like the Ducati Multistrada, which now works out cheaper than the new GS Boxer 1300. It surely will not be a KTM. It could be a tiger, 900, or 1200, such a comprehensive package. I will still say the GS Boxer 1300.
Can't wait to see the new bike. I made the mistake of testing a triumph tiger while the speed twin was in for new tires. Adventure bikes make alot of sense, from touring to hustling through the twisties, gravel roads all in comfort.
It's a shame that i'm not going in two weeks on my Twin to Albufeira, but with a car. Would have been fun to say hi to another Twin rider. The Twin is great but my GF has the NC750x and it just is way more relaxed on the highway and off-road. And that's what we're again doing this year with a nice Euro trip in the mountains. For that reason i'm going to switch to a Suzuki Vstrom 1050 or the 800RE. NothingToProve has some nice comparisons on his channel, and that helped me narrow down (also after test riding) to these two bikes.
Welcome to the club. Might I suggest the new Moto Guzzi Stelvio? It's got the Mandello motor in it, which seems to be doing well after around a year on the market. And everyone looks ten years younger and much cooler on one.
I know you like Triumphs so the comments of a 2024 Tiger are spot on for a guess on your next purchase. I find myself in a similar position as you. I picked up a leftover Yamaha Tracer 9GT late last fall. I have a feeling my Speed Twin is just going to be sitting and I will most likely sell it this year. So many bikes, so little time.
You are right, if the enjoyment is not 100% it is better to reduce and focus on one bike that ticks all your boxes, currently I have done the same with cars but still not decided about the perfect bike for me! It could be Triumph 400, or Tiger 850/900 or Transalp/800 SE.
You ended up doing what I did but with a lower budget. I had mt07 that I fully modified and a second bike for trails (crf250l, fully modded). I started to notice that I was enjoying adventure riding more so I decided to keep the mt07 but upgrade from a crf250l to the 390 adv. The idea was to keep a sporty bike and one for adventure riding. The 390 adv had to many issues and I requested a buy back. I was not using the mt07 much so I sold it as well and I bought a vstrom 800 de. For my riding, it fits me very well. I am close to 7,000 miles in 8 months. Love it.
My guess is an Africa Twin based on the additional features over the Transalp and similar power to the Speed Twin. I feel like you'll get sick of just having a practical adventure bike though and you'll want something with more classic looks in a year or so! Scrambler 1200XE is the answer, clearly.
That's almost exactly why I sold my fabulous Speed Twin. I have a customised 900 scrambler as well which is much more fun than the Speedy, yes really. So I chopped in my Speedy for a Guzzi v85tt for comfort, distance, luggage, fun, ease of use, economy and everything else the Speedy isn't associated with. No regrets at all , I love it and I still have a blast with my scrambler.
Tiger rally pro would suit you better that’s my guess. Yeah I have the same issue with rego, insurance etc we have two cars one for towing the other more sporty then we have two bikes one each and that’s enough as it just doesn’t make any sense. Rode my adventure bike without the screen while waiting for a new one would take some getting use to. Love the triumph range would probably buy the 900 as not interested in going fast but don’t know if I would cope with wind blast on tour.
Nice!!....whatever it is, enjoy and share with us. I can't have a bike at the moment for various reasons, but if I could it would be a Honda NC750 for me.......and that's coming from someone who has ridden Beemers ( 1150 GS, 2 x 1100 RT, 1 x 1200RT and an 1100R) for the last 25 yrs.
I just bought a Transalp , but before trying the Motoguzzi Medello V100, which was amazing and complains the best of both the Speed Twin and the Transalp , you should try one!

I say the Tiger 1200. The Rally is tall, the GT is lower. Both have shaft, so there no maintenance there! I never see you go off road. So the Tiger GT 1200, dare I say the Explorer with its larger tank. Pro is a little less top heavy. 😊

Hmm, so given your love of all things Triumph I'm thinking a new Tiger but given the value being talked about maybe a Multistrada or KTM for that "Cor, blimey!" factor when opening the garage door... Interesting times!
I haven't got quite the same funds, but just sold my 2023 Speed twin and bought a 2024 Tiger 850 sport. Gonna miss that 1200 engine. but it feels more like home. :)
My thoughts exactly. The ST’s engine is a one-off. Fabulous. We’ll never see the likes of it again… but the Tiger is so much more versatile and practical. Enjoy😊
@@RocketMan_Moto In the short (around 100km) I have done so far since picking it up yesterday, I can say it encourages a far more relaxed ride. Mixing the Speed Twin and the Transalp together there's only one bike that carries the best of both worlds: Triumph Scrambler 1200XE So that's my suggestion 😂😂😂
Yep, it's sex on wheels especially with an aftermarket pipe on it - I know I love mine ;-) That being said I test rode the 24 900 Tiger last weekend because why not, and OMFG that engine is interesting, and the fact that it has the smoothest quick shifter ever makes it even more appealing. I've been dreaming about adding the Rally Pro to my stable ever since.
It makes sense I can understand you, a very practical and wise decision. I would have enjoyed the Transalp more Km... 6000 it's nothing basically. Do you expect to make much more Km with your new bike? Greetings!
Maybe the slightly left-field choice of the updated Moto-Guzzi V85TT? They manage to maintain so much retro charm like the Speed Twin but are entirely versatile like the Transalp.
@@RocketMan_Moto That's the drawback. I'm drawn to one myself but the lack of power is why I don't have one. My 1250GS does it all so maybe you're getting a 1250GS at an end of model bargain price? The peculiat thing with the GS is it's image. With it's boxer motor, massive torque, shaft drive and asymetric treatment, it's actually a very eccentric machine and not a boring choice at all. If it wasn't so popular, we'd all be discussing how "individual" it is.
Nice to meet you. I'm riding SpeedTwin1200 in South Korea. Please refer to the SpeedTwin custom video on my RUclips channel. I'm thinking about which adventure motorcycle I should buy additionally. I'm thinking about Transalp and Suzuki800de, but your video helped me a lot. And it was nice to meet a SpeedTwin like me.
Needs must as they say. If your buying with your head i bet it's a Triumph or a BMW if your buying with your heart possibly a Guzzi Stelvio. Looking forward to seeing your choice.
Well during the NX500 review I did get the impression you would have bought that instead of the Transalp in hindsight. I'm thinking of down sizing and buying one myself, it has some good improvements over the CB500X, just about fast enough, frugal, light and looks good with bars and luggage etc, all round care free motorcycling 🤔. And you get to bank a shed load of cash...
I've been doing some man math too, and I've realized that it gets me into trouble. Having bought 3 bikes in 2023, and already sold 2 of them (SV650, GSX-8s) due primarily to comfort issues, my man math is telling me that I've got to stop dropping dough on bikes. I've watched a load of you tube on the Transalp and I've decided that its boring predictable comfort is exactly what the accountant has ordered. I do like to fiddle, so the Transalp offers ample opportunity for that, and I can ride it anywhere and do some soft off roading if I feel like it. I was riding my GSX-8s like a man possessed, so it will be good to reduce the wrist angle (joke), and know exactly what it is on the Transalp. Thanks for the great Transalp coverage, between you and Dork in the Road and Big Rock Moto, and a test ride of course, I pick up the Transalp tomorrow.
Surprise, surprise, but well considered. I used to have 3 motorbikes but over the years the mind grew and I also downsized. You also still have the Honda ADV350, also a lovely bike to ride. I am curious to see what it will be.
I think I'm wrong, but I think the Desert X would fit your needs quite well :) Tuareg, Tenere 700 etc would all seem a little too dirt oriented. Maybe a Tiger 1200GT Explorer if road performance is king. Looking forward to the reveal video!
But no other bike has grip angle, how did you find something that competes with that?? Thanks for the transalp series. Its helped convince me that it will be a good bike to replace my cbr500 as a commuter/weekend ride toy. Hopefully doing a deal very soon but in NZ they are still too expensive 😢
Advs are easy, and the easiest is the new Big GS. For the YT thing a new first year GS and all her invitable problems would probably get you the most views. BUT.. The Multi with the V4 and fancy gizmos ( back cilinder deac would work well in Algarve ) is the best big adv.... The rest.. A Tiger 1200 would be expected from you.. Yep my guess is the Tiger 1200 or a GS 1300 ( Tiger 1200 is the only one of the big advs that I didnt Test Drive, it will be good to hear your opinion )
Emminently logical, and a route I've been down myself at least twice. Motorcycling is unavoidably cyclical and the day day will inevitably come that you 'require' an additional motorbike 😁
I'm smiling because it's a problem that can't be resolved with only one bike: beauty and power or practicality and comfort. In the past, when I have allowed my left-brain to win ("practicality"), it has always left me with a product lacking in inspiration, and a quick sale. It's difficult to balance the emotional with the sensible - leading to multiple bikes.
One motorcycle is not enough. That is a fact. My rule is do at least 2.000km/bike/year. So, if I do 6.000km/year evenly distributed by the motorcycles i can justify owning 3. I agree that having a vehicle parked in the garage all year is a burden. I've done that in the past but no more. I currently average 5.000km/year so own 2 motorcycles.
Totally agree. I have a Rocket 3R 2020, the heavy one, and a Yamaha XSR900 2023, the light one, in my garage and I’m always happy to switch from the heavy one to the light one, and the other way round of course. Not riding my bikes that much does not bother me at all.
You have an itch to scratch and its a bigger bike. I never liked the big GS but the new one actually turned my head; but I suspect its a bit to obvious for you so I will go with the XR and I think you may as well.
Im enjoying my new Interceptor and thinking probably i like high torque machines and Bonneville or Speed twin 1200 would be my next bike if RE doesn't come up with 865cc because 1200 costs three times in India and accessories. Ive ridden Transalp its practical but engine didn't excite me i need to try different engines i guess, now im curious to see which adv bike you chose.
@@RocketMan_Moto i didn't ride Street twin yet but after loving Interceptor engine I'm thinking either T120 or Street twin 1200 would be something I'd enjoy more, but i haven't seen any such adv yet, hope I'm wrong.
@@RocketMan_Moto Yeah from all the reviews i could understand I'd like T120 even though it's 79 bhp but because of its laid back character compared to Street twin, I asked for test ride on both, will see which one I'd like. Also I heard lot of horror stories on quality issues on Triumph bikes so that's just keeping me little cautious.
I commented on here that I test rode the 900 GT and rally pro . I prefered the rally as you did , I have done 700 miles on it already , compared to 850 on my street triple in a year . I really like the 900 rally but the vibrations through the throttle side are terrible at consistent motorway speeds , ie going on a touring holiday . I didnt ride consistently over 5k rpm on the test ride sadly . Apart from that a great sounding , quick , comfortable bike . Oh and the dash on my Tmax is way better than this one . Enjoy your new ride . 👍
Shaft drives are robust and reliable, but they are also heavy and mechanically less efficient than a chain

@@RocketMan_Moto true... But do you feel the performance loss?! And doesn't the lesser maintenance costs more than compensate it, specifically if you go off road?! That is one of strong points for GS motorcycles
After reading the various guesses and justifications of same plus your teasing ("only 108 hp", etc.), I've decided to put my deerskin hat on and make an off the wall guess. Since I have no idea of European pricing, I may be totally in left field but here goes. I looked at the number of various dealer networks in Portugal and see that KTM seem to have a lot. However, I'm not convinced that you took the Austrian Kool-Aid. So... even though it's a smaller dealer network than KTM's, I'm going to guess HD Pan America. Insane or crazy Canuck intuition? 😁
It’s like the search for the holy grail, as a quote from Monty Python “Don’t like her? What’s wrong with her? She’s beautiful. She’s rich. She’s got huge…tracts of land” - King of Swamp Castle… I don’t think any one bike can fulfill every desire, but damn you will die trying. 😂
Now would be the perfect time to leave any predictability behind by not coming up with another Triumph, Honda or BMW. Have fun with your new ride and enjoy it.
I'm going Multistrada. Spendy, sure, but RM might figure he'll save on maintenance, since it's only one bike vs. two. Oh the lies we tell ourselves....
If we are talking around 24k€ it will either be a KTM 1290 Super Adventure R, BMW GS 1300 Adventure or Ducati Multistrada V4. If fuel efficiency is to be taken into consideration it will probably be the 1300 GS 👌
@@RocketMan_Mototurning 2 motorcycles into 1 is not enough downsizing? 😁 Well i guess then you still have the BMW F900 GS Adventure, KTM 890 Adventure R, Triumph 900 Rally Pro and Ducati Desert X. I hope its the triple for that sweet sound!
@RocketMan_Moto manufacturers have fooled us all (not me) that big power figures are everything. For road use, 100 bhp or even less is more than enough to enjoy spirited road riding. Any police Class 1 rider will illustrate that 👍
For the issues raised about the speed twin are the reasons why the t120 is better. Modern retro is all about easy going riding, looks and character. Speed twin focuses more on power to detriment of classic style. If that's not your thing much better going for adventure bike or sports tourer.

Adventure bikes just make sense. That's why many of us middle aged riders have one and why the vstrom was popular for so long.
Exactly
you just made me decide to never try an adv out out of fear I might forget my beloved naked bike :) I get it man. If it has to go, it has to go.
I would encourage you to try one. They're not pretty, but they're just so versatile.
It makes sense I can understand you, a very practical and wise decision. I would have enjoyed the Transalp more Km... 6000 it's nothing basically. Do you expect to make much more Km with your new bike? Greetings!
I hope so, yes, but I'm not a pro user so don't do that many miles a year on bikes :)
Maybe the slightly left-field choice of the updated Moto-Guzzi V85TT? They manage to maintain so much retro charm like the Speed Twin but are entirely versatile like the Transalp.
Nice, but not enough power for me
@@RocketMan_Moto That's the drawback.
Ooh. Big call.
But we're only here once.
Enjoy your new bike. ( Triumph 900?)
Ride safe 👍
Thanks😊
Nice to meet you. I'm riding SpeedTwin1200 in South Korea. Please refer to the SpeedTwin custom video on my RUclips channel. I'm thinking about which adventure motorcycle I should buy additionally. I'm thinking about Transalp and Suzuki800de, but your video helped me a lot. And it was nice to meet a SpeedTwin like me.
The Speed Twin is fabulous, but I’m looking for something more practical and versatile😊
I like running a main bike and then a mid size scooter as a second get around bike. For me KTM 1290 SAS and Yamaha Xmax 300.
Pretty much what I'm doing now: Tiger 900 Rally Pro + Honda ADV 350. The perfect combination?
For the torque, the adventure and équipement and options....Africa Twin 1100 !
Weird dash, though
Thank you for all the content on Transalp. Enjoy the new bike, whatever it is.
Could it be F900GS?
Thank you for watching. 900GS looks nice, but I'm not a fan of that engine
I’m guessing it’s an Africa Twin. It’ll be interesting to see what it is though.
Bit heavy and only 10hp more than my Transalp
What about a sport-tourer? Like a R1250RS, it would provide comfort and sportiness
True...
Some Triumph Tiger i guess, but no clue which one.
If you've bought a an Africa Twin, many sell it after a season as they find it is just tooo big.
It is a very big bike, yes
Needs must as they say. If your buying with your head i bet it's a Triumph or a BMW if your buying with your heart possibly a Guzzi Stelvio. Looking forward to seeing your choice.
All will be revealed next week :)
NX500/CB500X = carefree, I agree
Great choice! Enjoy :)
I will be surprised if is not the Africa Twin, although I would go for a Husqvana Norden 900.
No Husky dealers here
Surprise, surprise, but well considered. I used to have 3 motorbikes but over the years the mind grew and I also downsized. You also still have the Honda ADV350, also a lovely bike to ride. I am curious to see what it will be.
All will be revealed next week :)
Well said,... once you decide to get a new motorbike,... the justification is easy.
Yes
The Tiger 900 Rally Pro of course. the next forever Bike :)
All new bikes are forever bikes. At least for the first week😂
I'm going with the Tiger 900 Rally
Nice bike
I think I'm wrong, but I think the Desert X would fit your needs quite well :) Tuareg, Tenere 700 etc would all seem a little too dirt oriented. Maybe a Tiger 1200GT Explorer if road performance is king. Looking forward to the reveal video!
The Desert X looks weird from the side though
@@RocketMan_Moto Yeah, I have to agree unfortunately. It's like they completely forgot to design the rear. Tiger 1200 it is then😉
Reminds me of a beluga whale😬
@@RocketMan_Moto Fair enough 😂 I like that they tried to steer away from the utilitarian look of adv's, but it does look a bit off.
I know, I am going to miss Grip Angle!
What is the grip angle on Transalp?
I think the Trump Tiger GT Pro would be the most balanced choice
Good option😊
I would gess rally pro or the ktm 890 . But I think you're a trumpateer so its gone be then new tiger
Nice bike
Advs are easy, and the easiest is the new Big GS.
For the YT thing a new first year GS and all her invitable problems would probably get you the most views.
BUT.. The Multi with the V4 and fancy gizmos ( back cilinder deac would work well in Algarve ) is the best big adv....
The rest.. A Tiger 1200 would be expected from you..
Yep my guess is the Tiger 1200 or a GS 1300
( Tiger 1200 is the only one of the big advs that I didnt Test Drive, it will be good to hear your opinion )
Both are very expensive, though :(
Emminently logical, and a route I've been down myself at least twice. Motorcycling is unavoidably cyclical and the day day will inevitably come that you 'require' an additional motorbike 😁
No doubt😬
I'm smiling because it's a problem that can't be resolved with only one bike: beauty and power or practicality and comfort. In the past, when I have allowed my left-brain to win ("practicality"), it has always left me with a product lacking in inspiration, and a quick sale. It's difficult to balance the emotional with the sensible - leading to multiple bikes.
Agreed
One motorcycle is not enough. That is a fact. My rule is do at least 2.000km/bike/year. So, if I do 6.000km/year evenly distributed by the motorcycles i can justify owning 3. I agree that having a vehicle parked in the garage all year is a burden. I've done that in the past but no more. I currently average 5.000km/year so own 2 motorcycles.
Fair comment
Totally agree. I have a Rocket 3R 2020, the heavy one, and a Yamaha XSR900 2023, the light one, in my garage and I’m always happy to switch from the heavy one to the light one, and the other way round of course. Not riding my bikes that much does not bother me at all.
@@husseinshafie great combo
Nice
Happy to read it won't be the ubiquitous and yawntastic GS. Ducati DesertX?
GS is pricey, Ducati reminds me of a beluga whale
You have an itch to scratch and its a bigger bike. I never liked the big GS but the new one actually turned my head; but I suspect its a bit to obvious for you so I will go with the XR and I think you may as well.
Reveal coming very soon😊
Im enjoying my new Interceptor and thinking probably i like high torque machines and Bonneville or Speed twin 1200 would be my next bike if RE doesn't come up with 865cc because 1200 costs three times in India and accessories. Ive ridden Transalp its practical but engine didn't excite me i need to try different engines i guess, now im curious to see which adv bike you chose.
A Transalp with a Bonneville engine would be great
@@RocketMan_Moto i didn't ride Street twin yet but after loving Interceptor engine I'm thinking either T120 or Street twin 1200 would be something I'd enjoy more, but i haven't seen any such adv yet, hope I'm wrong.
T120 is very nice, Speed Twin 1200 is the same, but with ‘extra brutal’ added😍
@@RocketMan_Moto Yeah from all the reviews i could understand I'd like T120 even though it's 79 bhp but because of its laid back character compared to Street twin, I asked for test ride on both, will see which one I'd like. Also I heard lot of horror stories on quality issues on Triumph bikes so that's just keeping me little cautious.
2024 Africa Twin would be my pick 👌
Bit heavy
Probably could squeeze a speed 400 in your garage now, and being quiet cheap it doesn't matter as much if you dont ride a lot.
True...
What years is yours?
@@RocketMan_Moto 2024 . If they have dampened the vibes , they must have been horrendous . When you are on normal roads it is a beast .
I found the vibes better than on the Transalp when I rode both the GT & Rally a few weeks ago🤔
I would bet Stelvio but it's unavailable yet, so - Tiger 1200
Shaft drives are heavy and inefficient, though...
@@RocketMan_Moto Are they?! Bmw owners don't seem to think that way.
@@RocketMan_Moto... and robust and reliable, with very little maintenance....6-12 months before 'it' gets replaced again then.....
Wait and see😊
My guess… Triumph make an off-road Rocket nowadays ?
The new Triumph Rocket Storm with knobblies
It’s like the search for the holy grail, as a quote from Monty Python “Don’t like her? What’s wrong with her? She’s beautiful. She’s rich. She’s got huge…tracts of land” - King of Swamp Castle… I don’t think any one bike can fulfill every desire, but damn you will die trying. 😂
Haha
I wonder why Honda didn't produce the Transalp 750 DCT?
There’ll be an eClutch version
Dude! Our precious Speed Twins can’t be replaced ❤
Just shitting you. Bikes are meant to be ridden and replaced 🙂
Fabulous bike, which unfortunately I rarely rode🙁
As you say i think you just like buying new bikes and good luck to you
Who doesn't? :)
id like to say not me but three in three years tells a different story lol
Lol, join the club :)
Multstrada V4 or Scrambler 1200XC ? hahah those are the two bikes I want to choose from anyway!
Very nice
I'm going for the wildcard: Africa Twin. It's the Transalp but with the toys he wants, the power he wants and the street cred.
Heavy though..
@@RocketMan_Moto Yeah... too tall for me also!
It's a big bike
Now would be the perfect time to leave any predictability behind by not coming up with another Triumph, Honda or BMW.
Have fun with your new ride and enjoy it.
Oh dear
I'm sure that it will be a Tiger 900 Rally pro. Good luck
Very nice bike
Honda NC750X it is, then ??
Great bike, but I just couldn't , lol
I sense a Honda Grom with TKC 80's and a throttle lock.
😂
I'm going Multistrada. Spendy, sure, but RM might figure he'll save on maintenance, since it's only one bike vs. two. Oh the lies we tell ourselves....
Ducatis give off a lot of heat, though... no good here in the summer
If we are talking around 24k€ it will either be a KTM 1290 Super Adventure R, BMW GS 1300 Adventure or Ducati Multistrada V4.
If fuel efficiency is to be taken into consideration it will probably be the 1300 GS 👌
I want to downsize and have some cash in pocket, though...
@@RocketMan_Mototurning 2 motorcycles into 1 is not enough downsizing? 😁
Well i guess then you still have the BMW F900 GS Adventure, KTM 890 Adventure R, Triumph 900 Rally Pro and Ducati Desert X.
I hope its the triple for that sweet sound!
All will be revealed very soon😊
I hear ya. I downsized from 3 bikes to one and never looked back.
1300GS?
Pricey...
Have you ever considered the honda crf 300 rally?
Bit basic for me
Reasonable decision !
I think so
Thanks for the gorgeous scenery! Yr new bike a tiger 1200! Or maybe a rocket 3 with knobbys😂
The new Rocket Storm!
Either Triumph 900 or 1200 rally pro
Nice bikes
Sir did you test tide new bmw gs 900? Your thoughts? By the way, i just bought the tiger 900 rally pro as well and very much happy with my decision 😊
Not ridden the 900GS yet, but loved the 900RP when I tested it a few weeks ago👍😊
Please upload videos in 4k, they look grainy on anything higher than a 1080p display. it doesn't do the beautiful B-role justice.
85% of my views are on phones. 4K seems a bit of a waste :)
I suspect you went for the Tiger 900, but I thought you would try out the new 900GS before pulling the trigger.
Cheers
No need to try the 900GS, I know that engine from my 2019 F900XR... and I don't like it :)
I'd say Aprilia Tuareg but guess its 660 engine nowhere near to the Triumph 1200 :) So Tiger Rally Pro.
Yes, not sure I could 'stoop' to a 660...
@@RocketMan_Moto But it has tubeless tires, cruise control, good (offroad) suspension :) But yeah, I am interested what are the other options
How about a RalleyRaid turbo-busa(?).
Only 380hp🙁
A Multistrada v2 (just thinking out of the box).
Engine heat😟
I'm going with a '24 Africa Twin
Only 102hp🤔
@RocketMan_Moto manufacturers have fooled us all (not me) that big power figures are everything. For road use, 100 bhp or even less is more than enough to enjoy spirited road riding. Any police Class 1 rider will illustrate that 👍
True enough👍
My guess is here: AfricaTwin, GS1300, Multistrata, Tenere or Tiger
All nice
For the issues raised about the speed twin are the reasons why the t120 is better. Modern retro is all about easy going riding, looks and character. Speed twin focuses more on power to detriment of classic style. If that's not your thing much better going for adventure bike or sports tourer.
😊👍
2024MY Tiger 900 Rally Pro incoming!
Would 108hp satisfy me, though?
@@RocketMan_Moto well you were happy with less on the Transalp so maybe? 🤔
True, but the Transalp is 20kg lighter
@@RocketMan_MotoOoh er 🙂Large Capacity ADV incoming! 🤫
