The 2022 Lance campers look nice with the new accents and graphics and as far as quality most folks don’t realize they are now owned by dev group who makes emergency vehicles like ambulances so their build quality is good. Those new European windows are superior in many ways they open a lot wider and are lighter but you have to be careful of scratching. We’ve been waiting for our 2022 Lance 1172 since November last year that we ordered they’re building the 2023 models now and have made some new changes for the new model year. Pays to do some research when buying any large purchase. Watch videos and go look at RVs at the dealer lots and check out options and build quality. I looked at 10 different 5th wheel campers yesterday and what a difference on the appearance of the automotive painted ones compared to non painted. They’re more expensive but have a higher resale value. Great video 👍🇨🇦
I love my 2022 650! The windows are awesome and way better the the 90’s style low air flow glass. I don’t think you can beat the quality of the lance and the new look is wonderful!
I’ll keep my 2020 Lance 1172. I think that was the last good year for these campers. I think Covid caused a lot of quality control issues since the lock down. I also think Lance is either saving money on a lot of things that you spoke of like the window they eliminated or they are trying to make the 1172 lighter because it’s such a heavy camper. Ours is 5,008lbs. I definitely don’t like the plastic windows because of easily scratching from tree limbs and you can’t close them at night without lowering the insect screen and letting the bugs in. Someone said you can go outside and close them without lowering the screen. You will need a ladder to close the two bedroom windows if the camper is still on your truck. Loving your RUclips channel.
And the glass windows break when hit by limbs. I guess you don’t go out the door because of bugs either? I have a 2022 and the widows are awesome and quality is top notch!
Nice tours. Interesting changes to the new 1172. Apparently they will start installing Truma products in all of them soon. Will be interesting to see what they come up with. We may just be tempted to swap our 690 for a bigger model. Just not sure it would be the 1172. Thanks again for all your interesting videos. Steve
So the weight declartion on the outside "camper weight is XXXX Maximum when" it water and proane fridge is full. Is that the supposed to be gvwr for the camper?

Lance was bought out by the REV group in 2018. Although you never know the dev group of the US navy seals Team 6 may have had a hand in it.
