The traverse was very easy for me because of my reach. My partner said it was more committing for him. I could see how that move would be really intimidating, because there really isn't any gear until you get into that crack. The finger crack was much more intimidating for me. Gear was super small. But there are only a few moves where you have to rely solely on the crack for holds so its intensity is short lived. If I were to pick one over the other it would be the finger crack.
