@@recurveninja Ha! Me too probably if it was a snake. I stuck my hand up in the roof crack on Grandmother's Challenge at Eldo and hundreds of spiders swarmed out and covered my arm. I hung on and climbed back to the rest, no bites! Major heebie-jeebies though. I downclimbed and cleaned the gear and we called it a day after that.

I got spanked pretty hard in Indian creek. On my first trip I just followed the whole time and the second trip I was the one putting up the ropes. I didn't realize how uncomfortable I get when I'm pumped and have to climb above my gear 😅

How do you retrieve your anchors after you’ve reached the top do you just repel back down and collect them up or are they a one time use vibe? Serious question
Once you reach the to of a pitch, your belayer follows and collects all the gear.
