Thanks for the review. Unfortunately all the premium flights I have taken have the solid divider. Glad to hear it sounded like a typical flight and the food isn’t bad.
Thanks for the RUclips. Norse is basically a rebirth of Norwegian long-haul (which used to fly transatlantic before it closed down) with the same 787s and with some of the same management. Surprised you couldn't find that many reviews ... there's no shortage on RUclips.
No lost luggage, thankfully! Our overnight plans didn't work out so we ended up sleeping on the airport floor till our 6AM flight. When we finally made it back home, our AC had gone out and it was 90° in our house 😑 so we immediately got back in the car to go find a temporary AC solution. Our plan of 'film the update at the airport' turned into 'film the update at home' turned into 'film the update after the AC gets fixed' turned into 'film the update after work' and then got lost in the shuffle of every day life. Ah the joys of returning to reality after a vacation 😅
I literally just got back to New York City from Italy using this airline maybe 3 hours ago and I must say it is the worst Budget airline I've ever used they charged me $220 to check my bags and this was charged to and from my destination. Not only that they charge you $4 for water not even a bag of pretzels or nuts or any kind of snacks or drinks offered during my 10-hour flight. They should be ashamed I have never been more disappointed with any flight in my life. I would never suggest them even though you might pay 500 round trip you will pay an additional 4 to 500 on baggage because I had the typical big 40 lb check in (180) and my carry on they charged $95) thank God my back pack fit in that little model they make you put your bags inside. 😮 I'm serious. 9.5 hour flight and didn't even offer water. Not a fan never again
It depends on what cind of ticket you book. You sems to have ordered the "nothing included ticket" and then it is nothing included. You only have to blame yourselves for not checking what you booked. If you book food or checked in luggage at the airport or on the plane, it is much more expensive than pre booking. My first Norse flight was with nothing included, We hadd prebooked checked in luggage and brought food from home and bought 2 bottles of coke at the airport that we consumed at the plane. After that, i only have booked Premium Economy. Then we can bring all our luggage as carry-on and we get meals and drinks. So not having to pay for checked in luggage and not have to pay for food and beverages makes the price difference between Economy and Premium so smal, we book Premium. So far we have had 2 roundtrips Oslo-Miami and one Bangkok-Oslo flight and are super happy with Norse. Our last flight BKK-OSLo where airborne for over 14 hours, so we realy got a lot of flight time for our money and we enjoyed every minutte of it. Now you can bring 10 kg of carry-on in Economy, and 15 in Premium Economy + a smaal item that can be up to 5kg. Just make shure it is within the right dimentions.
So glad y’all got to experience this!
It was lovely!

Bummer about the solid dividers!

We originally flew back in September 2023 and there weren't nearly as many. You're definitely right, there are loads of great reviews out now!

They are definitely a budget airline. It worked well for us, but won't be the best fit for everyone. We hope you find your perfect fit!
