It took me a disturbingly long time to notice that the hat on Voldemort/Quirrels health bar wasn’t actually supposed to be there.
He reminded me of Mr. X from Resident Evil so I put the hat over him

If I told myself from 2 yrs in the past that in 2021 the thing I would be most hyped about was a ps1 Harry Potter gameplay finale during a pandemic, past me would totally think I've become a basement loser.

In hindsight, it was kind of a dick move that he waited until the last second to give Harry those points and let the Slytherin students think they had won instead of awarding those points while Harry was unconscious.

*Allegedly* both, Voldemort is just really focused on the school and Harry and keeps blowing it.
I remember voldemort snapping his face to the front of the body on the PC, I swear you can hear bones snapping when he does it
And wasn't the boss room different too? My memory of it was so epic

I have played chess in my life, the developers of this game clearly have not. This is just the old game of trial and error, which turns a 5 hour game into a 5 day game while not exceeding a budget of 352 yen.

wait, so i grew up with it called the philosophers' stone, hermione said that someone is stealing the sorcerers' stone, but the subtitles disagree, they say that someone is stealing the blarney's stone....hmm
The Blarney Stone subtitle was added in by Micky as a joke.
The original title is different than the americanized title.

It's funny you mentioned not being able to save yo. My favorite memory about this game, I didn't have a save card for my playstation and tried to stay up all night to beat this game. It was only like 10 or 11 and I put my head down to rest my eyes and when I sat my head up it was morning outside. I just shut it off and got breakfast lol.

God, I remember the PC port of this game being obnoxiously hard for no reason, especially the last few segments if memory serves correctly. Loved this playthrough though, well done Micky. Might have to go try and beat the PC version again now that I'm not 7 and awful at puzzles; now I'm just 27 and awful at puzzles!
