I know this is far to late now, but you made that first Tyrant Encounter you had more difficult than it needed to be by not double checking the initiative track before starting the actual combat. None of you noticed that the Init 4 Owlbear moved before the Init 5 Griffin, boosting the wrong monster.
Great video, really enjoyed it, I thought for sure you I'd see a party wipe on the round you pulled the golden golem 😉

Is consumable counter carry over to the next Campaign ? ( like Slingstones ). In the rulebook they only say to remove any non-counter consumables at the end of the Campaign.

Rulebook page 18: Place the Baddie in the lane that matches its Lane
Marker and on the position matching its Attack
Form. If that position is occupied, the Baddie will
instead take the first available Baddie position that

working up). Then, it will try lanes of the other Attack
Form (again, starting with lane 1).
Wooooooooow. I just realized I’ve been playing Nugget hyper nerfed. I’ve only been targeting things with long blade/dagger/bolo if I had slings. Didn’t realize that was only for attack dice. She is even better than I thought!!
I think they made it more obvious on later printings of her reference sheets. How long have you have Nugget for? Mabye you have an old sheet.

Also, on her latest sheet it says, "Propellist - Using her bolo, dagger, and even her longblade to reach any Baddie" and "...Also, she may select any Baddie to be her target. *This is important, as it allows her to use Skills such as Longblade to reach non-adjacent Baddies. However, she cannot use Atk Dice against a non-adjacent Baddie unless she uses Slingstones...". Latest sheet is here: chiptheorygames.com/support

FYI loot can only be used on your turn unless otherwise stated. Thus raider armor cannot be used for pickets shield wall ability since it's before the battle.

Heard a lot of good things about this game so I decided to watch you guys play it. Loving what I see as far as the game goes, and there's a good chance I buy it in the near future.
One thing I want to ask though... I have watched you guys play a lot of Gloomhaven, and more recently some Tainted Grail and now this. Why do you always choose the safe option? It just seems like you never choose to take a risk if you can avoid it. Not sure if there is a specific reason why or if it's an unconscious thing. Specifically in this video, at 1:37:50 you opted for the safe option and it made me realize that it happens a lot in the various games you guys play.
Don't get me wrong, I've enjoyed watching, I'm just curious. Maybe spice things up every now and then?
That is a funny question that we have been asked before that I think we had not realized we were doing. We tend to take the safe option in hopes that our play through will be successful and when we are playing live so that our games are a bit longer. In some of our most recent Too Many Bones live streams we have been trying to change this and choosing the option that looks harder or maybe more fun. We have also been letting the chat decide on our option during live streams at times to make the videos more entertaining. So I hope going forward now that we are more aware of this we will change our decisions. Thanks so much for the question and thanks for watching!
At 25:48 Rob mentions taking a health, I think he took the chip, but he didn't put the die on his mat to +2...
Looks like you caught this at 32:44 (almost doubled down on the mistake though)
It does seem to me that there is a little quarterbacking going on.
At 2:01:57 it looks like you didn't apply the fire damage to the baddie directly above Justin's character... you damaged the new one after it came on the board, and killed to two in the top line, but not the fourth one.
This would have meant that it wouldn't have been around to attack Justin at 2:04:33
Too many plastics. Board games with pvc should be eco taxed.
It's not a drink bottle or something commonly discarded. I'm all about carbon tax and dinging manufacturers for this stuff, but this is a board game. To maintain the cards and mats long term, what alternative would be suggest?
@@kadel300 less minis you dummy. The pvc miniatures will eventually be thrown away, just like LPs from 40 years ago. I don't understand how minis are defendable in this day and age.
