The fan-centric, inshore racing takes place in some of the most iconic harbors around the globe and culminates with a $1 million winner-takes-all match race. Rival national teams from Australia, Canada, Denmark, France, Great Britain, New Zealand, Spain, Switzerland and the United States battle it out in identical supercharged F50 catamarans, engineered for intense racing at electrifying speeds exceeding 50 knots (nearly 60 mph/100kmh).

seeing this in real life and not from a screen was one of the greatest experiences of my life. being half new zealand and half danish i was so proud of both teams. the danes did so so well and nzl had a flawless victory. my dad and i were the only ones who were cheering for new zealand where we were. Katja did AMAZING on the danish boat. YACHKLUBBEN FURESØEN SUPREMACY!!!

What a clinic they put on for us this last weekend. Let's hope they don't dominate from now on. :P

What the hell has happened to Canada?? They started off really well in the last 3 locations .. but in England, they fell off and are now almost always LAST!!
Excellent event! All of the top three really earned the right to be there and NZ showed in the fleet races that to win the event was well deserved. DK should be very pleased the results of their racing this weekend, and better still their third place in the overall standings - the Danish project continues to improve and drive forward! Bravo to all the finalists!
