Poor commentary! about places boats were in during the races. It’s a short race, commentators talking so fast impossible to understand where boats are, luckily we have the flags on boats to determine places. Lastly announcers talk boats one minute, then skippers the next, it they are going to do that. they should display boat name and skipper bot on the screen for viewers who are not familiar with the names of the skippers.
I cannot believe that they keep insisting in using km per hour instead of knots. But the worst part is showing decimals, too many digits that serve only to confuse the viewers. These TV producers after so many events, still can't learn from their own mistakes. Unbelievable!
It's done that way so people who are new to the sport can understand how fast these boats can go. I don't know what's knot speed is in km but I'm sure sailing folks watching will know the conversion off the top of thier head
@@Skybar23 How fast? No. Maybe they will think that they go too slow. Many new people on watching sailing would think that these boats are sailing very slowly reading speeds in Km/h because speeds are similar to bicycles. Knots are universal units for speeds, while miles or kilometers per hour depend on the countries. A knot is a bit more than one miles/h and almost two kilometres per hour. Showing decimals in knots would be stupid, but showing decimals in Km/h is twice as stupid considering that 100 Km/h is possible, three digits, and they are always sailing at two digit speeds. These people are nuts! Number of watcher are ridiculously small. No wonder!
Jimmy Spithill gets owned every single time. If he hits the start, he's in 5th by the first mark. If he misses the start, he never figures out how to make it up. I'm not sure why he's still driving for the U.S. It's so frustrating. I can't stand watching him.
Great racing! Nice to see the Kiwis get up!
GO YOU KIWIS YEA LETS GET IT
As a Canadian I think it's about time Canada got involved with these races...and they didn't do to badly either.
Amazing summation of the event !! Counting the days until Denmark. ROCKWELL should be rocking.

Aussies are the best yacht racers 😀
High society sports are kinda different.
Wtf, why is some random chick driving the GB boat? I thought this was professional racing, not a side show for random people off the street.
Thats the duchess of cambridge no random chick ☠️☠️
@@carlh2110 What sailing training does she have?
