It's so great to get back to vlogging and can I just say, Ryan did a great job showing you guys his morning routine. I honestly was half asleep the whole morning so I hope my half awake brain made some sense. Either way we love to spend the mornings together, especially during the weekend. Stephine Garcia I’m an ASL 1 student so I purposefully didn’t turn on the captions to try to challenge myself to see what I understood. I understand some signs here and there

@@cassiopeiaartco I know a little ASL but not enough to have the captions off because he uses the actual like signs, but I only know the letters, and I'm not really even learning it, my friends sister is deaf and they use letters and I asked her to teach me so now I know letters, but have yet to learn words.

@@ProudMommy444 I"m taking it at my local community college. A lot of colleges offer some ASL classes, so I would look into it if you can. If not, there are some pretty good resources online. Galludet University offers some free lessons online and Bill Vicars puts out some really useful content on RUclips and his website.

To be fair, my dad grinds coffee in the morning, which is super duper loud, and I generally either sleep right through it or hear it, recognize it, and go back to sleep haha it’s amazing what you can get used to

I'M THE SAME WAY WITH THE TUBE OF TOOTHPASTE LIKE WHY CAN'T MY BOYFRIEND JUST KEEP THE TUBE FLAT AND CLEAN INSTEAD OF SQUEEZING IT LIKE SATAN
There is this toothpaste thingy you can get at Walmart. You use it to squeeze the tube and push it up each time. It keeps it flat and gets more toothpaste out. If I could send a pic I would but it’s like this oval rectangle shape with a slit in it. It’s awesome will solve all your toothpaste problems

there is this really cute deaf boy at my school and i know basic sign from teaching myself and doing classes but i’m to scared to go up to him cus i feel like i’ll mess up on signing do to being nervous. but watching y’all videos and hearing how y’all first met and stuff gives me confidence to go up to him and talk/sign to him!!! thankyou.❤️

!!!HEALTH WARNING FOR YOUR DOG!!! giving your dog icecubes will heat them up and can over heat them. They're response system to cold water/food is to make the body hotter. The best way to cool your beautiful sweet doggie down is by placing damp cloths on the belly and in the areas where her legs and torso meet! I'm from Australia and it's very hot here, and I used to do the same for my dog until my vet told me otherwise! Love you guys though ☺️

Can Ryan talk about working as a deaf person? I got a warehouse job during the lock down and work with a deaf man, I'm trying to learn some basic sign language so I can communicate with him better.
stephanie Blackman do you love in the US? If so, there are some good sources for learning American Sign Language online. Bill Vicars has made a ton of really helpful videos teaching ASL signs. It’s pretty easy to learn some basic signs.
@@cassiopeiaartco hello and yes, I have been learning online, and ordered some books offline recently. I have decided to take ASL 1 and 2 at my local community college, being it's such a beautiful and useful language to know. At this point, I guess I "pigeon sign" to him but we communicate fine. I have picked up on a good amount of signs and I'm starting to put whole sentences and questions together (kinda). I'm a visual person. It's still hard though.
It really is such a beautiful language...I’ve been signing since I was in the 6th grade and I just absolutely love it. 🤗
There's also "edX" website or can download the app too for some basic sign language. But I saw that you are going to community college for it already. All the best!

When I was 17 i started dating a deaf boy and we fell in love. He was my first love actually. We dated for 2 years and lived together for most of it. I'm 29 now and watching this video and reading your sign language has some how brought back so many memories, I feel kinda sad actually. But in a good way. I'm really surprised that I can still understand most of what you two are saying. I thought I had forgotten sign language because it's hard for me to remember how to sign myself. I still know alot but I cant sign full conversations fast like I used to because I havent in so long.

You show everything and explain really well which makes everyone feel included. I was 1 minute in to the video when I realized I needed the caption to understand what they were signing 😅 but it’s a good glimpse at how difficult it must be for them being in a society where people don’t have subtitles to what they’re trying to communicate. Much love and respect to these two amazing human beings! New sub.
Haha its weird being on the flipside for these videos. I always have subtitles on because even the auto generated can be better than nothing. So to see people confused about what was being said and i wasnt was like inception.

I just happened upon this video and it made me really happy. I really enjoy watching deaf people sign. I find ASL such an amazing language and I've been trying to learn it ever since I worked with this little kid who had a deaf parent and therefore mostly signed himself.

I've been trying to learn sign for my son he's turning 3 and has no communication. It's a bit tough remembering everything but trying to teach a 2 year old is even harder.

At that age you could have home signs which are unique signs only you and your son know what they mean and are usually easier to teach and remember because you came up with them.
