That 47mm is indeed czech and deserves the (T). You got it mixed up. The 37mm is the standart german early war AT gun made in germany.
Yes and no! It's the 4.7cm vz.38, renamed Pak 38(t) by the Germans and used on Pzjager I as we see here.
So it should read Pak 38(t) instead of Pak 36(t)

This feels like a mix of 52nd Sicherungs, Köruck and Toulon, weirdly enough. The amalgamation of just everything in terms of quality meshed with a few key holder units, very neat overall.
Lokking forward to trying this one out myself.

Miliciens, the "c" is pronounced "ss" here, so "Milissien"
MAS 36 is a French SMG from 1936, only low numbers were produced by the outbreak of the war as production hadn't ramped up yet (like the MAS 36 rifle)

Since I'm usually one nagging about german words and your pronounciation; props to you for nailing the german "ch" in Sicherung, that's probably one of hardest sounds to get right!

190 A-3 remained most likely from the time of active fighting for the strait . A-3 is one of the first versions. They were quickly replaced on the eastern front . but in France they were left in the air defense units.

@@atkpwrgaming the odd thing is the gave it to much speed in the game it should be like 50-70km/h slower (realisticlly speaking) than the newer version. aswell as not just that it had lower climb rate and such.
I agree about air off-map. Knowing a strike is incoming seems more sporting in competative play & at least gives you half a minute to react. I'd not be against making all off map into air units.
That means never have to worry about them again. 99% get shot down befor they are in range to call the arty in^^

pak 36 usually is locked to single or double vet, in this case no vet is allowed, meaning it just looks like better availability

At 19:13 it's not only bombs, the 3 cannons and 3 MGs are noted as "air/ground" so they can strafe as well (unless you just mean that it won't survive long enough to do a second pass)

SD2 for the Cluster bomb loadout on the Ju88 is correct.

Going by memory. Think the sd2 cluster is the butterfly bomb that has a mercury trigger and can be dropped on impact mode or mine mode. Weird nazi magic
And due to volatile trigger (so it can act as a mine) I think they had a tendency to blow up in the air.
I googled this years ago so dont know how true it all is.
Yes, more or less, this is correct. I wish, we would have the ammount of possible bomb load outs and armament gondolas from Steel Division 2 in my beloved flight sim IL-2 Great Battles.
"Sprengbombe Dickwandig 2 kg", hence, SD2, yes. It's under "Butterfly Bomb" on Wikipedia.
Also completely useless against tanks

Some of these units are just so goofy, especially some of the beute's like the UE 630 and the Flammpanzer B2, that just for that I'd like to see this division played!

37mm is German gun, 47mm is Czech gun
Looks like the 47mm was used by a lot of the minor nations of WW2 it seems with the French, Italians and Czech all producing their own versions of that caliber.

If you think the puma availability in this division is cool look at 2nd panzer it gets 2 cards of pumas with 6/12 availability at 1 vet and 5/10 on 2 vet so you could essentially have 10 double vet pumas in a phase

French tanks in A, a Panther in B and Panther+Tiger in C. Should work if you survive A^^
u have the AT tank lock in A phase to survive..
@@user-vu9xl2yz4s honestly so long as you don't have to deal with ISU-152 or IS-2 in A phase you should be capable of surviving against most soviet divisions with few allied vehicles having more than 90-100mm of armor in A phase. if you have to fight another german division you will just have to suffer if they bring out a panther in A phase or you have to engage Stugs or worse yet a Stuh-42. I could also see the 105mm sherman being a problem for early game AT.

I don't think it's called the PaK 36(t) but the gun on the renault tank destroyer is, if I'm juding it right, the same one from the panzerjaeger I, which is czech. Also the PaK 36 isn't czech, it's German.

I think the routing nerf is a nerf to disheartened units aka ammunition sponges in particular. Thus all the military police units may really help. Love the Das Reich mp inf.

@@atkpwrgaming Yes, totally. It is a bit unreal how much falling back inf can tank right now.
BTW Eugene made a mistake, SD2 is anti-infantry cluster, SD-4HL is anti-tank. SD-2 are basically grenades on a stick, they won't do anything to a tank. But they should be devastating against infantry in the open, would be cool to see it changed
I always felt like anti infantry clusters were disappointing but then again from what I remember he did say they were good against infantry in buildings.
@@dominuslogik484 which is also weird because IRL cluster is useless against buildings. But RN 10KG clusters are ok
@@tedarcher9120 I guess if the cluster bombs aren't detonating instantly they have a pretty good chance of spiking through a roof and detonating inside the building. Also most of them weigh a little over 3-5 pounds each (except obviously 10Kg being around 23 pounds) which falling from the sky even a few hundred feet would be more than enough to punch through some wood or tile rooftops on houses back then.
I think more modern cluster munitions are probably less effective because the fusing is better and they wanted to avoid having them imbed in the dirt before detonating.

@@dominuslogik484 if cluster bombs don't fuze instantly they will do no damage as their shrapnel will go into the ground and they don't have enough explosives to make a big crater
I tried this div against the AI last night and it feels pretty good. It lacks a few tools like cqc and 2k HE but other than that it is pretty cool and fun. I tried maverick.
Yeah its a lot worse than I thought it would be though, it is actually missing a lot at the end of the day
@@atkpwrgaming Yes, very true. In particular against a good opponent (eg my ai opponent wasted his Panthers).
ß is sz, spoken like ss. ß got removed some years ago, but many people still use it.
when I learned german about 8 years ago we were taught to still use the S set.

These nerfs...brutal stuff...traction nerfed to 100km/h, probably because of doddy and atf saboteurs, but dunkirk and toulon also get hurt...Ju-88 S1 nerfed to medium resilience...
Panthers availability and vet curve seem generous, maybe they are only for this division?

JU-88 S have always been Medium resilience. There are two versions. The normal JU-88 has Very Good resilience and is slow and the JU-88 S is fast but has Medium resilience. Has always been that way
The traction nerf is great badly needed to stop opener cheese
The Ju-88S1 cluster AT is the best cluster AT plane. I often use them. Only problem is that they can't fight anything else than tanks^^

This divison is a collection of miss matched units that could fight after the nomandy invasion they were set up in and around paris to prevent the allies from captuing the city/ distroy it should this prove impossible also most units were of second line duty thus the disheartened trait just be glad we dont have the 6 cards of infentry with only 1 mp40 and 9 k98k's from sd n44 along with the ju88 50kg bomber spam. The way this deck will probably be played is mass inf + pak 36 as it has the fast fire rate for the low armour and the heat shell for close heavy armour so maby a bery defense heavy focus whilst team mates do the offensive and your luftwaffe assists.
I think it might actually be a pretty fun division at the end of the day
The problem with the D.520 is that it has almost no 20mm ammo. For longer engagements the FW is better.

The biggest problem for me is the lack of dedicated cqc and the lack of medium tanks.

What do you think about them adding the SC 2500, which is a 2500 kg bomb on the He 111 bomber. It was used in the Blitz.
Too slow to get to the target without beeing surpressed or shot down.
@@steffent.6477 actually the he111 is quite good. Plus it would have the biggest payload in the game. Depends if it is phase locked.
