Your attention to detail is fantastic! Even in the audio recording! The style of your ship reminds me of some of the most successful designs from the space genre. I don't want to name anyone but you'll know it when you see it.
Hmmm, I know that this horseshoe/claw/U-shaped shape is very common in spaceships, but I am not sure I know which one you are talking about - give me a hint ;)
@@KombatKrab Oh by, you are right! But I can wholeheartedly say I have not played that, nor seen this specifially. But it still is a good reference, thank you!
Yo nice, Im making up my own Star Citizen ship too. I've only been using Blender for about a year and a half and I've only made fairly basic stuff so far, so something like this could be a fun challenge. Instead of making a completely original ship from scratch though, I'm basing it on the Tevarin ships that currently exist. It's going to be a light stealth scout ship called the 'Shroud' that uses the Tevarin armoured display panels they use for their cockpits, but plated all over a majority of the ships hull to effectively render it 'invisible' to the eye by projecting the background onto the hull. I already have two light sketches of the ship from a top down and a front on view, might give my self a little more time to work on sketches but I'll get into the modelling soon.
I was nervous in the beginning, cause mine look different than the ones in SC lore, but then I learned people don't like those cause they look to basic - so thanks!
I guess ICG supposed to make a program where ships made by gamers will be available for purchase with money going to person who created and put a lot of work and it like you did. Good luck! Waiting for the new episodes
Nice video! Did you look at Mustang Beta? I think it's one of the smallest ships with functional living space. Or maybe at 100x series. But I'm guessing they're too big for your purposes.
Yes, I have, and I like them both for the same reason I like the Aurora! But as you said yourself, I need it to be more compact, those are both more for civillian use, atleast the 100i for sure!
Bit too many landing gear. Front 2 and single in back should be plenty. Put a window in the top of the bed. Sucked when they removed that from the aurora.
Thought about that, but I could not find anything to justify it, other than "looks cool" - any Idea? Also - do you mean further out then they are now, or a travel mode with the wings folded in?
@@ace_tristPWN I just thought it would look cool and it kinda looks small and folded like it would tuck away in a hanger nicely then rise out and pop out like a scorpious or an eclipse
@@ace_tristPWN Don't worry, none of the existing Star Citizen ships have any real reason to fold in the ways that they often do other than the fact that it looks cool lol. If there's ever a reason given for wing folding, its that it's to save space when landing in hangars.
@@javannapoli2018 Well I would argue that for example the Scorpius needs those wings in atmospheric flight, but in travel and storage you pretty much reduce the profile to a third. But my front wings are already to chunky to help with aerodynamics :D
It keeps getting better and better.
With the newest changes your ship now really has a mass.
The VR scene is a genius idea to help figuring out scale!

This is from my experience in space games. As a whole genre, you will surely find more.

@@ace_tristPWN I can't wait to see your ship fully realised. It looks awesome! You do some really cool work on your channel.
@@KombatKrab Thanks a lot! I plan to release it with the full version of SC :D
Any ship with a bed, but no toilet is on course for a baaaad time.
I thougt about that, but I am with CIG on that one - realism, but only as long as it's fun!
@@ace_tristPWN im more worried about the coffee machine! xD
@@ShawnMeira Oh don't, this thing will have a coffee machine before it has proper landing gear. I promise.
Looks awesome! Not only the shop but how it all works seemingly in the Verse! Keep up the good job!

This is so fucking cool!
really impressed
Looks good. Sleeping space is often overlooked.
Also I love that your voice reverb changes when you enter the cockpits. 😄So much effort.
Glad someone noticed! It's also practial, I always record in a space of a matching size, or outside when the view is outside.
@@ace_tristPWN very impressive ♥

What program(s) are you using to view all this stuff in VR? Also the environment on arccorp you're using as a testing Location is phenomenal looking.
Blender and Unity! Thanks, I built all of ArcCorp from scratch, no game rips.
