This is absolutely a fantastic guided tour. You've clearly put a lot of time and thought into this, and I would even say this is a great portfolio piece if you plan on working in the games industry (if you're not already) or interior design. Any plans to recreate and tour the Perseus and Polaris? Thank you!
I personally would add a window behind the captains desk for him to look out (with a privacy screen when needed) and making the slit looking into the hangar in that hallway there to go to the floor. This would allow a view from the Cpt chair front and back and IMO would be a cool feature. Also who knows we got a construction module coming... maybe someday there is more? I can dream right? So combat module 2 size 5 or 6 turrets, one on top and bottom, yes then 20 size 5 torpedo's then we can show them what this star destroyer is capable of! Or a module that extends the hangar into the module and maybe adds some type of repair and larger ships. This ship should be a gunship, but not as shielded or armored as say a Perseus. Or it can be a repair ship, but not as much to replace the others (maybe size restriction), a builder, a refiner, a medical ship or cargo ship or even a jail/bounty hunter module. Jack of all trades but master of none, due to the modular design. I'm full of the copium tonight everyone but lets go! But you know you want to do it CIG, sell us some modules ;)
Thanks on creating this early preview of the RSI Galaxy. Also for offering up your suggestions for improvement and early missed opportunities. Opinion: The Pool table prop is a miserable use of crew space. Also for virtual tabletop, Sataball / Murray Cup UEE sports coverage, art, and mission planning roles.
01:40 you know I actually didn't think about that before, but you're completely right. It looks more in line with the Perseus or Polaris, and ironically nothing like the Arrastra (which clearly proved RSI styling can be adapted to fit an industrial look)
I love how it’s like a little Star destroys you could have hovering over a planet or outpost and a little shuttle connecting the Star Wars like hangar to surface
I love the hanger bay, I so wish CIG will rework the javelin to incorporate this type of rear facing hanger, it already has the perfect spot on the javelin for it.
Great Work ! As for the toilets/shower, i think each crew cabin is meant to have it's own shower/toilet combo. (wich would mean the Galaxy would have the most toilets or any other ships of that size)

Haha, not sure about that :D I just ran the numbers in my head cause someone asked how long I worked on this, had I produced this using my jobs rate, this video would have cost somewhere between 5-10k USD
I thought about it, but they did not release a floorplan as they did with recent concepts. I also had a look at the holoviewer model, and it's terribly low quality - maybe CIG does not like us doing these kind of deep dives on the holo models...
Not sure if youll see this comment, but the Polaris should be the next releasing large ship as far as I know. Id loooove a whitebox on the polaris as you did for this ship. It was incredible to walk through the galaxy with your commentary. Definitely earned my sub!
11:35 that central hallway window could get bumped out into the the hangar area to create a control room for cargo beam control or any other oversight needs of the rear space. The only reason I can see this not working is if it interferes with the modularity plans (i.e. needing that perfect square or rectangle to drop the modular box in)

Kinda worried the hangar is a bit small I think the main draw is the overall size of the part that’s modular, and the hangar being basically empty should hold at least a pair of decent fighters like gladius imo
Nice work on the render. I upgraded to galaxy yesterday. As my long term ship for someday. The design looks really cool. Really wish the hangar was bigger but still looks like a vulture could back in to off load.
if you pause at 0:40 you can see there is an L shaped area between the bedrooms and the dinner table, I think that's the bathroom. There is another one between the other two bedrooms and the pool table room. I think you access them by using doors on that hallway with bedroom doors.
Pour les salles de bain, regardez les plans officiel au fond chaque chambre il y a un petit renfoncement qui pourrait être de la même taille que la douche des constellations . Si ce sont bien des douches il ce peut aussi que les lits soient aussi les même que ceux du constellation .
