It pisses me off to no end that we live in a world where ballistic vests are made for EMS or firefights. However, i am glad that there is at least one company who makes vests with protecting those in those professions.
The department where I'm currently applying issues level 2 Body Armor. What are your thoughts on officers discretely replacing the department issued BA and using a better BA system like the Safe Life? How would supervisors ever be able to tell the difference under your uniform? What are the reasons why you wouldn't personally do this since it would offer you better protection?
Cool video brother! Question...with the attachment style on those overt vests, do you think that they would stand up well in a scuffle? Really cool that they offer stab protection, too. Thanks in advance and I dig your other videos!
+Doctor House they appear equivalent to many other vest attachments I've used. I haven't been able to use one for police work as they are not uniform where I'm at. (I wish they were my vest cover has to be custom made by a particular company in Chicago and costs over $300
Ah copy. Cool then. I've used the PACA/PB/Safariland overt carriers in the past, but as I'm sure you've also noticed, they are not very rugged and severely lacking. The comfort issue with overt versus under the shirt...it's a worthwhile endeavor!

Very, very, true. Even did a video to this effect here: ruclips.net/video/GWkqBD137sg/видео.html This company though sends copies of the testing certification from an independent lab verifying the rating. They also provide samples to people and agencies that want to independently test their products. I got one a few months ago. Here were the results: ruclips.net/video/lWIRFa7Zbk8/видео.html Disclaimer: I get paid NOTHING for doing armor reviews AT ALL. I just love breaking things. Lol.
III is a rifle rating IIIA is a handgun level threat rating. The + at the end just means "plus a little bit more". The answer of weather the + is worth it depends on if you think you need protection from that little bit more.

Does the concealed vest still protect, without the rifle plates?
He said it can take multiple hits they shot it twice and the second passed through the plate 🤨

Question do i spend the extra hundred dollars for the III+ or stay with the IIIA
