Brilliant, many thanks for the vid. Have the tram no. 2 on scale - G-scale (Garden railway) - built from a kit produced by the spanish brand Occre. Other kits include a 'Tramvia Blau' from Barcelona and a red Madrid tram. A nice hobby perhaps for Steve during the colder days of the Majorcan winter?
We will be coming to Majorca (Palma) on a cruise. We have decided to get the tib 204 bus from Palma to Soller, look around Soller and get tram down to the port. I’ve done research into the bus. Would we get off at Cetre bus stop 61009 on Career de Cetre ? Thank you
The bus stop for Soller town is quite obvious and a lot of people usually get off. After you come out of the tunnel you will go down a hill until you reach the town. The bus will turn right and pull into the bus stop. There is a carpark behind the bus stop. It is then a short walk into the town. Hope this helps.
Cant wait to be back there in early May! My favourite place on Mallorca so we always stay there. Thankyou Steve and Anita for making me look forward to it even more.
What a treat, we have pretty much stopped taking the tram because of the price. We have never seen empty seats, in the summer/autumn you have to queue to stand up. Thanks for sharing that with us, I feel like I know every inch of the journey.
Thanks for showing. I have happy memories of the tram and the train to Palma. Best wishes Paul.
Glad you enjoyed it Paul.
Many thanks for showing us your tram journey
I always go on the tram when I'm in Soller.
Keep safe and well
Glad you enjoyed the ride Neil.
I went on that tram in 1996.
Still going strong Jill.

I like the idea, but don't have the time at the moment.

Glad you enjoyed it Pamela.
It’s been many years since I’ve been on the soller train. That was a great video. I can’t believe the amount of people waiting to go back
I was surprised to see so many people waiting to get on.

Our pleasure Jenny.

It was something I wanted to do and film. I like the way it turned out, but it is too expensive to do regularly.
Am sure it was lovely to go on the train it's always very busy
We only did the tram down to the port. The return looked as though it was going to be very busy!
