I believe this was around the time UP switched from the Leslie RS3L horns to the Nathan K3LA horns, due to their arguably more pleasant sound and greater durability with more modern on/off horn switch systems.

Some of these consists can still be seen today. SD60Ms and SD40-2s are still on UP.

Hwy 30 has an overpass, Hershey has no railroad crossings west of bailey yard is also a road overpass.
