Today I wanted to expose Black Ops 3 for a problem it has been having since DAY 1, potentially even since the Beta!
It may seem like a smaller issue, but this problem can happen at any given moment at random, and it ruins the gameplay experience.
Game Chat AND Enemy Chat create consistent lag in Black Ops 3, and I needed to expose Black Ops 3 for having this issue.
So here are my questions: Has the Call of Duty engine reached it’s limits? Was this done on purpose to combat trolling in multiplayer? Is it a bug that can be fixed?

to fully fix the issue they need to completely redo the black ops 3 engine and upgrading it and fixing it will take a long time. thats why you get 3 years to make a cod game.

Back in January, I was talking with a bunch of random people on my team, (Almost my whole team and enemy team was talking!) I was lagging, so I said, anyone else lagging, and EVERYONE, Said yes (Even in Deathchat!)! Later, everyone lost connection, and then the game crashed. :/ Thx Merk.

Bo3 is objectively the worst cod to date. People will willingly shit on Ghosts and AW but what they fail to see, is those two games had decent hit detection and connection. I didn't like the jet packs in AW either but at least the game wasn't extremely inconsistent like Bo3. The two most important things in cod that make it objectively good is hit detection and connection. Weapons and maps are important too, but they don't mean shit if the game can't even run right! And Bo3 doesn't even have interesting maps or guns either. I like bigger maps, real guns, good silencers, and ghillie suits. That's what made cod great from the beginning. How people can say Ghosts is worse than Bo3 is beyond me. At least the damn game can run! If you ever gave the game a chance, the maps aren't even bad. There were like two maps that I really despised. Bo3 maps are too small, too many colors, and just boring and repetitive.
TL;DR - Ghosts and AW are objectively better than Bo3 for many reasons.
Oh and btw, I'm a S&D player, it's all I play. Ghosts was fun for S&D. AW was ok, and Bo3 is just fucking boring. The pre-nade timer just completely ruins S&D. That's one thing I never liked about Treyarch games.

Hey merk, i dont know if you covered these myths, but i found some new things out abot the crossbows. One, if you shoot the crossbows near a trophy system, the bolts with be destroyed. And two, if you use the crossbows on the robot in safeguard, it will destroy the robots health if you especially use one of the attachments for the weapon. That's weird. Doesn't happen to me, but I realized that if someone is using the connection, it will lag your game, obviously. But, if you're close to the router or Ethernet or wherever you get your connection from, the less it will lag your game.
call of duty bo3 is an example of greediness ruining a game by paying for everything and futuristic Bullshit that no true cod player truly likes.

I totally agree I love to be able to talk with people on call of duty black ops 2 it makes the game a lot more fun because you can strategize with your team and the other team won't hear it
one thing I've noticed as a problem is sometimes you'll try to join a friend and it just says error Lobby not joinable but if you try the next day it works and it's completely random who it happens to you can be playing with your friend earlier that morning and then 3 hours later it won't let you join anymore even anymore even if both of you restart

The other night I was playing a private match with my friends with bots on and one bot talked in game chat for a few seconds and left and none of us heard him or her talk and a few minutes after that happened the bot left. Not even fuckin with ya

I personally went through the games code for game chat and found nothing that should cause lag or stuttering. I also found that when someone talked in game chat the GPU of the console spikes to 100% thus causing lag. So Eric was right about Treyarch pushing the consoles ability to process the game. I tested this with Xbox one, PS4 and PC but PC shows no sign of lag or recourse usage going up in game chat. It seems like the problem is easy to fix but their studios cant be bothered.
