Yeah wtf is going on with Jake guys? This is your family friend and long time strung out brother Steevo. I love you guys so much! But out of respect for us fans and Jake we need to know what’s going on. I suppose some of us “know” but the fans deserve the right to know what’s happening. Don’t make this like Jordan and wait till the last min with some vids then touring with a new member. The fans deserve to know what’s going on guys.

Dude I just posted a comment about this and it was immediately deleted. I’m a lifelong fan and family member of this band. Branded on my leg to make it official when I was 20 and I’m 40 now. I know what’s going on with Jake but the band needs to make an official statement and announcement about it. It’s only fair to the fans and loyal fans since the mid / early 90’s like myself. I’ve taken lessons from Jake for 20 years. My best friend has taken lessons from him as well. But to be silent and string fans along or ignore them is just disrespectful because with out the fans esp the OG fans like myself this band wouldn’t have survived this long. We / they need to know the truth about the situation!

@@SolidDuke77 dude I can’t… but they are reposting videos from the 90’s on FB and it’s just frustrating AF. Jake kept this band punk METAL. The last record with RJ was awesome but it wasn’t heavy like the previous 5 albums. There’s just some shit that needs to be said publicly. I absolutely LOVE Jason , Rob and Chris. Been in the family for 30 years!! Those are my boys for life. Got the Live in a Dive inked on my leg. Ive only seen 3. I’ve worked with them and it just breaks my heart because at their age it’s all about consistency and I get the Jordan thing… I was fucked but it wasn’t working. But Jake? This is a legit dagger to Strung Out.. Jake IS Strung Out. Without him this band will fade away like most bands after 30+ years. It just really sucks and bums me out. I thought this band would outlast them all. But the more members change the more they slip away from what they are and why they’re so successful. Long live Jake Kiley 🤘

@@SteeVeeSiNNs Yeah if Jake is gone it's pretty much over I don't even listen to skate punk anymore I think that whole scene went to hell in the mid 2000's ( just my opinion ) but strung out was one of the very few bands I still loved and would go see live, such a shame but bands don't last forever especially not a high energy and technical band like Strung out, we all get old, I just hope they don't milk it and tarnish their legacy like so many bands do nowadays, been bingin old 90's videos here on youtube just seeing the old line up with Jim and Jordan almost brings a tear takes me way back, that band got me through some dark lonely times way back. Don't know them personally like you it's got to be even worse when you're close to the inner circle, let's hope they sort this out I think Jake will come back but it's hard pulling double duties with 2 bands of that caliber decisions are gonna have to be made if they haven't been made already.🤞

@@SolidDuke77 bro I’ve been ride or die since 96. My first backstage show with them was the Live n a Dive shows. It was surreal smoking weed with Chris, jake angel and Beto in Jordan’s blue tour van and 20 years later I was driving that same van with the implants tour. I love this band with all of my heart honestly. But to lose RJ and Jake this fast is very disappointing and troubling. I’m not saying Chris isn’t a good song writer because he is an incredible musician and song writer BUT Jake is metal. Jake kept Strung Out honestly with their brand and style with aggressive metal fast paced punk music that just cannot be replaced ever. I’m not going to lie I’m not a fan of the gimme gimmies at all. Never been a fan of them. Not saying they’re not good but it’s not my style at all when it comes to legit punk rock. It’s a gimmick band and I have a hard time respecting that. I started taking lessons from Jake when I was still in high school at 17. Took lessons with him till i was 21. Drove to his grandmas house in simi valley which was 2 hours away but I did it twice a month for years. He would show me rare pictures and videos from touring that’s never been seen. He was/ is my hero and inspiration for guitar playing. He was always metal and always will be metal. It’s strung out 100% without him in the band it’s going to get super trendy. Less metal and more cheesy punk. Jim cherry was afraid of the same thing before he died. Becoming something they’re not. The record reflects that so much. It’s just not Strung Out. This band is going through members so quick. The quality of their music is suffering from it. In my heart I thought they should have called it quits when Jordan was fired. But then RJ did an amazing job so I had hope. But then he was gone and now Jake… it’s just honestly saddening. It’s like beating a dead horse.. what’s dead is dead… 🤦😞
