I totally relate to your looking at your trauma in childhood and a diagnosis of Autism in adulthood. The psychologist Who diagnosed me as autistic had experience of working as a family trauma therapist and has a phd in Autism. She mentioned she was aware of my traumatic childhood while seeing how I meet the criteria for autism. She recognised also that Autism unidentified brings a lot of trauma into a young life. So I was experiencing trauma in the family home and also in the social world.

Thank you for explaining all this. Stay strong.
What you have talked about, the continual wearing down of self belief and self accomplishment by my parents. I was fed and clothed but there was no comfort, physical love, hugs has left me with inferiority complex, severe social issues. I have very few friends and feel lost.
