- Ya know, I actually really like the idea of an Alicorn Misty Mom. I don't know why, but it sounds really cool to me. Imagine that, huh? HUH?

You know Misty deserves wing's after all she done, brought back the night market brought back life to the wishing tree she grew a tree in zephyr heights with she has done way more good than sunny has
She’s also just a more interesting character
Misty is more interesting to me than sunny is, which kinda sucks, but stuff happens.
I agree with sunny being kind of boring twilight was kind of boring. She needed the upgrade to make her less boring but I didn’t do much in my opinion. Twilight kinda sucks as a princess they only turn twilight into a princess so they can make money and our toys, I would happily buy an à la corn Misty plushy

misty is probably the best character of g5. not only is her design AMAZING but she is actually a relatable and well written character. like an adult pony who still hadnt gotten her cutie mark. also she deservers to be an alicorn way more than sunny. she has brought back a together tree, helped calm down two cities in a state of panic, brought back the night market and found the dragons but she also helped defeat opaline. sunny just had plot armour
I just realized none of the mane 6 have a complete set of parents. Pipp, Zipp, and Misty have only had one on screen, Hitch only has grandma Figgy, we know literally nothing about Izzy’s family, and Sunny’s parents are both assumed to be dead
It's interesting because the fade on Misty's coat is the same pink that's in the painting. I'm really thinking there's some coorelation. I didn't even notice this painting somehow.
i feel like if alphebal had married an alicorn then he wouldnt have been so opposed to other pony kinds in the movie since an alicorn is all three types bundled into one. honestly the show writers probably wanted a funny gag and didnt think about the lore implecations of the painting 😥

I completely agree with you with the theory... That you are insane... However you have some good point and bad points.
Let's begin with the bad point so we end in a good note: 1)Misty wasn't kidnapped, she was transported by the mist to outside Opaline's castle, but she was teleported again when she was inside the night market, and Opaline didn't even noticed. 2)Are we really ignoring the possibility that this is just a random Alicorn OC created by this random guy? I guess we do, since it would not be interesting but it's a possibility.
I like how you are offering theories but keep them grounded with facts. That's something rare to see.
However I think Misty is connected to the Alicorns somehow...First she was transported to Opaline, she has that weird mist power and when Opaline arrived at Maretime Bay, she says she see it in her mind. What if Misty is not an Alicorn but a part of one. The picture is from a known Alicorn, and she is her unicorn part? After all an Alicorn is like an earth pony, unicorn and pegasus combined.
Thanks for the response, and it's nice to see someone be so detailed in their response. I think the 'kidnapping' bit isn't really important, because at the end of the day, Alphabittle still lost his child, and had no idea whether she just got lost, kidnapped, or died. So to him, it doesn't really matter whether she was kidnapped, or teleported, or what-not, becasue he still lost her. I just say 'kidnapped' because Opaline probably wouldn't have even tried to find her parents. "Oh, a new servant?" kinda energy.
I didn't like the idea that it was an Alicorn OC made by this guy because, one, it's waay to similar to Misty to just be a coincidence, and two, I think it's REALLY REALLY messed up that this guy painted a picture of Alphabittle's lost, maybe even dead daughter, and called it his OC. Maybe he just saw Misty on Tik-Tok lmao.
I like that thought... reminds me of Steven Universe, like Misty is one part of a fusion😂
Since Alcorn sunny to go to knowing how her magic works pretty quickly I think she might related to sunny in someway. For example, Luna and Celestia, sun and moon. Misty has dark cold colors with a mix of orange like the sunset. Well sunny has bright, vibrant colors.
Love how make your mark is seemingly over and we never got an answer to what that was about
I hope someday they'll give us the answers to some of the theories. Amazing theory, as always!

I honestly wonder if Misty is related to Star Swirl the bearded since there was tell your tale episode where Misty finds a magic book and Alphabittle color scheme is literally the similar to Star swirls.
I think that looks like flurry heart or twilight’s daughter that painting looks like one of twilight and flash sentry’s daughters

I think Misty have alicorn mother and Alphabittle didn’t tell anything because he doesn’t know who is Misty’s mother too, like I think there was used some memory spell on him because it would explain why in flashbacks of him and Misty there’s nothing about Misty’s mom just about Alphabittle and Misty it’s because he doesn’t remember. Also it would make sense for Misty to be daughter of alicorn because it would explain why Opaline was keeping Misty in her castle. Also if you think about it Misty opened wishing tree and inside of wishing tree are things from pony history and we know how alicorns are important in pony history and how alicorns like Celestia was keeping important things from history somewhere like elements of harmony
