Mark Brzezicki is ON FIRE!!! This is some of his best playing I’ve ever seen. He knows these songs inside out, but the way his grooves and flourishes dances through them is sublime…
This is just brilliant....the best BC line up by far since the passing of Stewart....well done guys...BC's Music will be around for many years to come....one of the best bands from the 80's era....& Mark was one of my favourite drummers :)
Wow. Tall ships Go...Haunting and down right painful as it takes you back in time. As I swallow my tears to an absolute epic album and live versions it's something I can drive for days to. Thank you.
Nice update on the sound in the intro. Love that Simon's vocals really capture that soulfull sound so like Stuart's. You can hear the melancholy, heartwrenching sound in his voice which is a necessary ingredient to these songs. Well done band! I'll be watching more of your latest videos.
Taking the album on tour worked for me. As Bruce explained, there were production reasons some songs were previously not played live and so glad they were all put on show on the Steeltown stage. Great to hear the live mix now as during the gig you want to sing along and reflect on the songs as they impacted you.
Have just discovered this ace gig, and very glad that I did. Band still sounds fresh. Is that Bruce's son on 2nd guitar? Brilliant powerful vocals. great rhythm section. Nothing lost after all these years. Proper job guys. l look forward to more. Shine on.
Steeltown is a great album. I like it as much if not more than The Crossing. My favorite tracks are Steeltown, Where the Rose is Sown, and Just a Shadow. Also, nobody seems to know how to spell Mark Brzezicki's last name.
Thank you so much Bruce. i wisnae there in montrose but Ilove steeltown as I told Tony when we bumped into each other in june 94 when we were going upto glasgae
sadly now resident in england not montrose... but my ties still there. I emded up on HMS Sheffield .. Sheffield being steeltown. And what got me through tough times.. as i told big tony in 94 on a train to glasgow sleeper... few beers with the man. love to sing my scots accent on stage once with BC.
Agreed but they are undoubtedly managing the mantle of a fantastic thing that needs to be celebrated. they are a credit to those that went before and we salute and support them. Buy your ticket and dance like nobody is watching because Stuart would be proud of you. F the world.
Congratulations to the fabulous line up that keeps the flame alive. They are so good! and the singer sings his heart out to pay homage to the unforgettable Stuart (RIP) Was a fan of BC, am, and always be. Total respect to this band, to Scotland. Greetings from France
A fine rendition of, in my opinion, one of the greatest albums ever, saw them on the Steeltown tour at the Glasgow Apollo and many times after, am going to see them in December, my first time without Stuart. Anyone know who's playing Bass here, I don't recognize him.
Really ? I watched steeltown 25 in glasgow and lived in montose. I missed out I'd love to sing a bc song on stage with the band. Us mastertons are from Dunfermline.
I should probably add that I lived Stuart and Bruces early years. Navy, Dockyard, thatcher. unemployment. get me on stage and sing Stuarts words. I'd do it free. Met TB in 94 gentleman he is.
Yes, this was the live mix, PA was provided by Audiowave from Dundee. They now have the facility to record multi track which is great from the video being able to edit the live sound then dubb it into the video

Stuart
It’s good, but the Mike Peters, Tony Butler line-up was better IMO.
Bc of my love for Stuart, I really wanted to hate this. But it was very good. Good job fellas.
I'm from the middle of scotland so I knowcwhat stuart and brucecwere singing about xxx
Simon really does the songs justice. Hope to see them in the US again one day....
I messaged him and he said they are going to try to do so. He's on Facebook. I agree with you though. He sounds great.
Girl with grey eyes...never seen live...but I'm in love with this song ..❤
Wow. Tall ships Go...Haunting and down right painful as it takes you back in time. As I swallow my tears to an absolute epic album and live versions it's something I can drive for days to. Thank you.
Bloody LOVE Tall Ships Go. Gives me goosebumps every time. Great to see them do the album in full. Must try and get to a couple of dates on this tour.
Thanks to Bruce Watson,Mark Brezicky and other new musicians for living in the Big Country...in memorian Stuart Adamson...Scotland rock...

Don't think I've ever seen Bruce enjoying himself quite so much onstage. Fun gig!
Amazing!!!! Oh I’m sure Stuart would absolutely love knowing this is still going on! How cool!
Simon Hough's vocals are huge! on par with Stuart's back in the earlier days. Amazing vocals all around.
toutes mon enfance merci
Come Back To Me, was very heartfelt and powerful. Good job guys.
Intro to East of eden. Pure class

Great to have a document of the tour. Thanks for putting up the whole thing 🙂
Mark with Background vocals. Really good...

Steeltown is Corby this song is about all the Scots that came south to work in Corby steelworks
Unfortunately, the band will never be the same without Stuart Adamson, even though the whole thing still sounds great, after all these years
Who’s the singer now?
@@therespectedlex9794 Simon Hough

Enjoy the ride while it lasts.... Change is inevitable but this lineup does not dissapoint!!

He's back on the bass !!! They sound like kings !!!
I think this is just about 5 years late in the upload. Great upload nonetheless.
Magic version well played!!
Wow. This guy has the inflection and tone of Stuart!
I wonder if it comes natural or of it's an affectation?
So great. Thanks.
Great effort fellas, keep the story alive..
Stay alive
That’s some lovely bass
Big Country is the best 🇧🇷
Simple....just great
He give justice to Stuart 's voice.

Derek Forbes formerly Simple Minds
@@CanmoreVP Of course, thanks, the beard threw me, a superb Bass player from back when SM weren't bloated stadium rock.
Fantastic
Excellent ! Very Much Appreciated !
Would have been perfect if Tony B was on bass.
Great upload, thank you!. This was about 5 years ago right?
Thank you !! 👍👍👏
Derek Forbes, bass god.
Wouldn't mind seeing a cheeky Yamaha SG in Bruce's hands, just for old time's sake.
Your name will never die, Stuart Adamson

Yes, definitely the best BC lineup since Stuart.
It's sad to see once untouchable rockstars forced to play grotty town halls just to make ends meet.
It's where the money is.
It's barely Big Country, but that dude's voice is pretty damn close.
??? Half of BC is on that stage!
That’s a great live mix, is it taken straight from the desk?
Yes, this was the live mix, PA was provided by Audiowave from Dundee. They now have the facility to record multi track which is great from the video being able to edit the live sound then dubb it into the video
Who is the lineup here?
Bruce Watson Jamie Watson Mark Brecikie Simon Hough and
Derek Forbes on bass
NOT Big Country - without Stuart or Tony ... just no.
Superb. Stay alive, BC
Mike peters was far superior
This shit is a tribute band how dare they call themselves Big Country
Half the people on stage were in the original band you prat. It's their right to play _their_ music.
If you can't handle it, go play at your own gigs
NO NO NO NO NO NO and most importantly NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. This NOT Big Country. No stewart , No BC
