One of my favorite songs ever. This is part of a 3 year long tradition I've had to listen to this exact video in the dark with my room's window open. Happy 2009.
@@elliottcase2155 Not on any antidepressants. Just rawdoggin' life. I probably shouldn't have been obsessed with this song at the ripe old age of 11, but it is what it is. but thanks bro :')
Oh neat this song has been on here for 12 years and 12 days! It is quite honestly a wonderful song, both in lyrics and sound. The entire EP was great but this is certainly a standout song!
commenting to join the ranks of many that I predict this song to eventually become a Hop Along staple. request on their Bandcamp to release it digital!
This is the last song I shared with an old friend. A best friend turned lover - It was the loneliest 2 years of my life that I spent with someone I loved 3,000+ miles away from me. But god, we shared so many good times in the moments we did spend together. He was one of the most beautiful people I’ve ever met and loved with all that I had. But, he was so afraid to open up to the world, building walls between himself and others. Couldn’t blame him - life was unfair to him. I only hope I helped him enough to love someone fully now. Hope you’re doing well, FB.
Man i was about to share this song with someone and i saw my future in this comment... now i don't know if i should. I think it would be your opinion not to build up my wall but sometimes it's hard not to want to. Sometimes it's hard to want to build the walls too though, you know? Maybe that's when it's okay not to?
A friend of mine followed hop along back in the day when they were playing super small shows to like 50 people in living rooms, and she had a cd with this song on it and shared it with me 🥲
@@anerammyou’re a life saver for sharing this! I seriously love it so much and there’s no other official sounding tracks for this song that I’ve found. I can’t believe this is only here by chance that your friend listened to them when they were small
“though I talk my fair of trash, I haven’t the stomach to be hated” so relatable

Ever since they started making music, Frances Quinlan has been writing the hardest lyrics I've ever heard.
realest thing ever
Favorite lyricist, thanks mostly to this song
think this song might have frances's best vocal delivery
