    I just need to say THANK YOU for teaching me so much about Schizophrenia. I know it's got to be super hard to keep teaching when there's so many jerks out there leaving thoughtless comments, but I need you to know that somewhere out in the big huge universe is a Mom, whose child is undergoing testing for schizophrenia, and who gets so much comfort and hope from seeing the powerhouse of a person you are.

    I've been following you for a long time. But this is my first time commenting.
    One of my closest friends has schizophrenia. We met in college when we were 18. He had no significant episodes or any evidence of anything being off at that time. He was "normal" for the first three years I knew him.
    Then one weekend when we were around 21 he took too much LSD and didn't sleep for a couple nights and it was like the straw that broke the camel's back. He was very odd and concerning while he was high that weekend, but our friend group chalked it up to the LSD.
    But then he kept having episodes closer and closer together and more and more severe. Between ages 21 and 25 he terrified all of us, his friends and family, so many times. Doing dangerous things, disappearing for days or weeks on end, high risk behaviors. He had to be institutionalized for a while.
    He would get on some successful meds and have months of normalcy and productivity, then be would abandon his meds and go back to square one.
    Now that we're 40, things are a lot more stable. He's acclimated to a quiet life living with his mom again instead of trying to make it on his own and he's safe and happy and successful.
    I just always wondered what it was like in his world, but he was never comfortable talking about it when he wasn't spinning out. So I just wanted to say thank you for giving me a glimpse into my friend's world I've never quite had before. Your content is so important. ❤

    ❤ and 👍. The Triggers are like Thread concept in a Software, and Thread Spools thread, I mean when the Mouse Cursor moves, on the Thread in a Software and gets activated, it opens in a New Screen on your 🖥 which is layered on the Previous Screen, so there are multiple Thread just like Spools 🧵 which starts Revolving Opening various Thread🧵, similarly Triggering in Hallucinations pushes the afflicted into Conversation at times, goes into a Loop 🔁 repetitive Self Talking

    I can tell by your facial expressions 😄 mines is not severe but my anxiety will talk me out of things such as fear. As a reminder hopefully this helps just tell them that they're not alive but you are, tell them that you have a heart and they don't, tell them that you have arms and they don't, this is what I tell my anxiety, I tell them that if you continue to pester me you need to pay me money to rent space in my mind the quiet for the rest of the day I love doing this to the negative thoughts in my mind, for some reason my anxiety likes to keep me all to themselves I don't like me to go around other people it tricks me into thinking that every human is bad and they're out to get me which is not true all the time. So I tell them that there are nicer people out there than you are that makes them so mad😅

    If you curse out your hallucination. Will it respond accordingly and curse you out right back. Or will it keep talkin as if it's like the TV going on and not really responsive to you?

  • @Familylawgroup
    @Familylawgroup 3 дня назад

    Does your voice ever say the hakkucinatiin's words or are the words inky internal? If you are wearing noise canceling headphones, do your hallucinatiins come through as if the headphones are not on (since they are internal and not actually external voices) or do the hallucinations expect you to take off the headphones and speak to them like an actual person in the room would expect?
    Also, you have told us, repeatedly, that you seeing your room camera snaps you out of your hallucinations. Many newer cameras have motion detection and can send a motion alert to your smart phone and watch. Would setting up some type of alert, or even alarms on a smart watch at hour intervals during the evening, before bed, also help snap you back? Have you tried either of those types of things? Do your hallucinatiins always wear the same clothes and stay the same through the years or do they age with you? I remember that point being made in the movie "A Brilliant Mind." Have you seen that movie and if so how accurate is it for portraying your condition?
