I just now found this and I love it so much! Vala is appreciated for comedic genius (as she should be), but I don't think that she gets enough recognition as a layered character with depth. This video acknowledges that, while also including the funny and playful side of her. It showcases her growth and her relationships with others beautifully. The music is perfect, too. I really did tear up at this. Brilliant. ❤️
I just rewatched SG-1 and am once again reminded how much I liked Vala and how I wished she could have joined the show earlier. Her character deserved more adventures with SG-1.

The show has been off the air for like, 12 years so why is this making me cry now in 2022? This is such a perfect tribute. She’s such an interesting character and I wish we had more time with her, but you dug perfectly into her journey, her regrets, her grief and her hopes.
This made me cry in the best way. Vala is one of my favorite Stargate characters and you did such a fantastic job at showing her journey and growth in this video.
