Edge was the heel I hated the most. 8 year old me was so happy after Summerslam 2008 after I thought Undertaker legitimately murdered Edge. 8 year old me celebrated Edge's supposed death so much 🤣 that's why Undertaker was my favourite, because he murdered the biggest slimeball in society 💀

Ted DiBiase was so great at playing that Gordon Gecko-type villain that people tend to forget that he was a brilliant in-ring performer as well. Just didn't get many chances to prove that.

HBK deserved the #1 spot on this list. He's the only superstar who played despicable heels during both the Attitude and Ruthless Aggresion era. First, during his feud with Bret Hart and then as a member of DX.

I would say Rock was a great heel in terms of being an asshole and a douche but EVIL - nah definitely not compared to these men 😭💀
Jericho, Edge, Orton, that’s my top 3 and in that order. If you’re a heel in a level that you get heat on the streets like Jericho you have already unlocked the game.
The McMahon family didn’t have to be as involved as they were let alone become villains in the company. Especially the things Shane did. That’s dedication to the family business.

I started watching in late 06 like October, I instantly got hooked to Cena and I saw Edge but this was post live sex, taking Matt’s girl, Edge. The one I saw was rated rko, feud with Taker(who I was scared of). So I was a fan of Edge, never had a problem with him, but looking back I understand why you guys hated him as kids 😂
Eddie's mom heart attack wasn't story planned, but she actually suffered one because she was excited and was surprised about everything. JBL freaked out and got out of the ring and was extremely scared and worried.
When CM Punk cashed in on Jeff Hardy, and when he "retired" Jeff in that steel cage match, I absolutely despised him (keep in mind, I believed it was real at this time lol)
Wrestling is Real! I am among the scriptwriting creative team!🙉🙊🙈
When he came in the next night dressed as Jeff Hardy I wanted him tossed in a river.

A bit late to the game but i think Mark Henry was a pretty good heel. The whole Hall of pain gimick. I remember a match between Orton and Kane that ended in them shaking hands, then Mark Henry came out and crushed Kanes leg in between a chair.

This list suffers from recency bias. Piper and DiBiase should have been higher at least top 4. Also where is the Iron Sheik...probably the most hated main the late 70s/early 80s.

The Undertaker's Big Evil and Ministry runs were more worthy of being on this list than a lot of the people who made it on the list.

For me personally I was growing up with Edge, Randy Orton, JBL and CM Punk. I absolutely hated their guts. Not like Kane for example. Even if he was a heel I just loved Kane's gimmick. One of the best in history alongside undertaker.
