Personally I’m not a huge fan of the parasites especially considering they insta kill you once you have too much on you. I enjoy talking to talk to npcs and exploring the area without having to rush and the parasites make that pretty hard to do. I feel that they should make the parasites not kill you but de buff you say making you slower, reducing max hp, or making you do less damage. Hell I’d be fine with having all of them just none of this insta death bs.

@@ArtFromHer If you're talking about the lighthook, you CAN do l2 without a lighthook. Parasites just straight up kill you.

UPDATED NOTE:
You now have to actually hit chaser to beat him. With the update that came about a month after this video was released, Chaser has a set hp bar that you need to drain to progress through his fight. You can't just break the jars to kill him. M1 him when he's downed or use Providence Thorns to deal damage.

ngl the only "difficult part" is navigating in firfire caverns and getting away from the bounder pit, you have brick wall so its practically much easier for u

the most difficult part for me is that damn parkour because when I enter the area my fps drops to 15

I like layer 2 more than layer 1 because I can focus on pve and getting cool stuff instead of watching the 29th contractor in a row use strings and ABA combo me

You can block the falling spikes so they don't stun you

yeah i have paths defender and like 30 strength on my PVE build and the chaser spikes do like 3% posture per spike
whenever he starts raining spikes and i have broken all the blood jars broken that i need to make him drop down i normally just run up to him and hold block

QUICK REMINDER
if you play any "hard" thing, any part of the game you don't master while having more than 100ms, BE CAREFUL
take your time and DONT rush things, i also recommand using only m1s
i know 100ms is not much but seriously, it can be very annoying because you won't parry like you always do
ALSO, a big tip to be at power 20 in 2 hours without much risk is to take simple (flaw) and go to diluvian mechanism with deepbound.
take care of your mental health, pause the game if you need to.

thank you so much bro. It took 2 days of runs learning how to beat em but i finally beat floor 1 at my second time getting all the way to the boss. I can't even count how many times it took me to beat the beekeeper for my first few times. So thx for the help man

Naw this mans a goat. I lost 3 chime matches ina row, went to floor 1 (1st time ever doing floor 1 solo btw) and watched this vid as I was tryna escape it by myself for the 1st time and I escaped. I am actually so happy cause I literally am on the verge of completing my build that has been taking me 6 days to complete now.

Might be bugged rn but I found that as long as I beat the floor 1 boss, I keep my floor 1 stuff no matter what. I've used the light hook in floor 1 and floor 2 and still kept all my floor 1 stuff as long as I beat chaser.

I like layer 2 because if you mess up barrel stacking too much or can't find a tower that doesn't need barrels then you can just jump in the void.

When I run chaser I just use vampirism so I don’t have to worry about my health that much since the health gain is pretty good

Chaser is pretty easy if you don’t miss the jump and some parries because you literally don’t have to m1 him and he has moves that aren’t hard to dodge. Also i recommend doing it solo since it’s easier that way.
i think its easier with a squad since everyone can just break jars and u dont have to worry about breaking them urself

@@Dizzle- he didnt mean it like that. you are able to escape without a lighthook, through chaser or ehtrion once defeated or through ignition drill
If you beat Chaser after 20 minutes you can escape no matter what instead of going to floor 2. There’s a way to leave floor 1 without a light hook but you still need to kill the bonekeeper. And I don’t think you can leave floor 2 until the end if you don’t have a Light Hook.
You don’t need to talk to the spear every time only the first Time to unlock ethiron gaze
