Additionally, red attack are unblockable, and are usually unparriable. NOTE: usually. TL;DR: *DODGE* 5. don't be afraid to explore the world of deepwoken. There are many places in deepwoken, especially outside the Etrean Luminant (the starting location), that you might find essential to your play through. 6. In time, you will learn the rhythms of battle; patience is not a virtue, it's a weapon of war
I was fighting some bandits to level up shadowcast since i just unlocked it and was messing around with mantras when a voidwalker came in. I usually never attack first so i just left him alone to kill bandits but then bro attacked me. He was REALLY bad at the game but had some semi decent gear somehow. I knocked him and carried him to campfire and just told him to chill and i dont want beef. He attacked me again after healing. Poor man got sent to the depths.
Please don't buy deep if you have bad pc or wifi. (Edit) i play 15-20 fps avrage with freezes and 200-300 ping. It took me 150 hours just to get to power 20. The voices of the damned still hunt me
Mistake #3 is CRITICAL. It can ruin your whole playthrough and damage your experience. I say that because I mysefl did this and kept playing the same mediocre way for ages. Lvl up at lowly mobs. Never fought bosses... this kills your adventure.

im new to deepwoken and really bad, so i always dump everything into agilty so when someone attacks me i just climb someting and 90% of the time they just cant do anything
for a thing to help freshies dont make braindead builds or just silentheart pretty much i used to main a silentheart but i was terrible at the game but once i started making silly character builds i started actually getting better because i actually had to parry to win and not just spam mani katti and crits its also just incredibly boring to use and makes other people angrier which leads to more toxicity in the game

Anyways, if your new, make a big goal for yourself, and don't give up on it. Its how i stayed motivated to continue, i had something to do
smth really useful i used to do for the talents was because talent reqs end in 0 or 5 i used to look at builds and for example if he went 40 str i looked up the talents for str for 5 str 10 str 15 str and so on so i could actually learn why he did that

My tip is to focus on PVE completely so you can make builds fast, while having some voidwalker experience but overall experience with every mob in the game especially diluvian, then go crazy in chime and start the training arc
Trial of one gets you to power 9-10. I mastered the trial by just spending a lot of time to do it over and over and over until I learn how to fight enforcer or tresher when I first started playing. It is really a good way to learn how to defeat some of the monsters.
A good tip for noobs that i can give is to start grinding the Ferryman at level 15ish. Thats the level where bosses are usually best for leveling more, and the Ferryman is the easiest boss in the game. He only has 4 moves, one of which replaced the other once he hits half health, and most of them can be avoided completely by just running. The trickiest part is definitely parrying his close range lightning assault barrage. In phase 1, wait till you hear the impact of his teleport to parry. In phase 2, only parry his first and third attacks, as the second will be auto parried. Not only does it give easy xp, but you also end up with tons of rings and even a great armor schematic.
Nah just fight him while u r lv 9 or as soon as you use shrine of order 🥶 🥶 🥶 ( unless your shrine of order is lv 16 or above then fight him as soon as u leave to1 )

The right one should have a wrecked boat on the shore at it's entrance. Go straight and in the distance you should see the trees of Boatman's Watch, where you summon the Ferryman. Once you arrive, at the center of the island is a sort of pedestal with four circles surrounding a middle circle. Should the middle one be glowing, put campfires on the other ones around it and light em all (you can get two at once if you go halfway between the circles and the center and then stand between two fires). After a short delay, your dance with the Krulian begins. Don't forget to bring extra fires to heal yourself.
Needa use trial of one more effectively, I keep going 100 strength/fortitude for the legendary talents instead of spreading my points across all my stats. Thnx man 😎

a good tip for freshies if you are having trouble on parrys there is a little glint at the top of the enemies sword when that appears press f aka parry same with mobs just press f when their weapon gets drawn back fully
Small issue with the "GG" part is imo gg is also a toxic thing to say. It's not really a great game if you're taking away their hard work or even beating downna literal freshspawn who can barely deal much damage to you and then pop "gg" like they were a decent fight.

1 mistake you can make in my opinion, is actually using the wiki when you first start out the game. I suggest you get a slot to power 20 before you even think of using the wiki
And how exactly r u going to get lv 20 in the first place? Because there r voidwalkers and the exp becomes harder to get without a boss ( unless u have a friend and it kinda counts as using Wikipedia the difference that it’s easier to know the important stuff from your friends )
Another tip, dont spam mantras (and sometimes aerial/uppercuts) during pvp. Try to only use m1s, parries, dodges, and crits so you can actually learn to parry and attack Honestly once you figure out which talents are the most important after following build videos, you are free to make whatever build you want using your favorite talents, go crazy! Its your build!

a good tip for freshies if you are having trouble on parrys there is a little glint at the top of the enemies sword when that appears press f aka parry same with mobs just press f when their weapon gets drawn back fully

Small issue with the "GG" part is imo gg is also a toxic thing to say. It's not really a great game if you're taking away their hard work or even beating downna literal freshspawn who can barely deal much damage to you and then pop "gg" like they were a decent fight.

1 mistake you can make in my opinion, is actually using the wiki when you first start out the game.
I suggest you get a slot to power 20 before you even think of using the wiki
And how exactly r u going to get lv 20 in the first place? Because there r voidwalkers and the exp becomes harder to get without a boss ( unless u have a friend and it kinda counts as using Wikipedia the difference that it’s easier to know the important stuff from your friends )
the idea is the exploration is the most fun part in the entire game
and looking at the wiki is basically spoiling everything for you
Another tip, dont spam mantras (and sometimes aerial/uppercuts) during pvp.
Try to only use m1s, parries, dodges, and crits so you can actually learn to parry and attack
Honestly once you figure out which talents are the most important after following build videos, you are free to make whatever build you want using your favorite talents, go crazy! Its your build!
There max upgrades is actually 7 but you need devs for the last two but still 7 for the max

Enforcers take a while, I just take it really slow and react to each move. Also, make sure to roll or roll cancel when they feint. (:
Ima be honest I have 99 hours in the past 30 days. I just got enforcer down, most of those hours on learning enforcer. I personally like to use heavy because it’s an easy pattern of parry, Crit, m1 repeat
For new players (such as me) I reccomed to watch a lot of Deepwoken content so you actually know wtf you are doing
So I got a question, how do you upgrade charisma? I got the book how to make friends but when I used it nothing happened. Also which weapon is better? Light medium or heavy? ALSO! What is that weird aiming thing at the bottom right.....
